The Weeping Pegasi (Chapter One)
Ponyville, Equestria
May 22, 1001 C.R. (Celestia's Reign)
"You expect me to actually believe that time travel is possible?" I asked the brown stallion with the hourglass cutie mark.
"Yes I do. I can prove it to you." He began, "I have a ship, you see?"
"Show me." I plainly stated.
"Alright then." He replied, walking over to the blue police box, "Come on inside."
I stepped inside the blue box, expecting it to be tiny.
"Woah! It's..." I started, not knowing what to say.
"Say it. I love it when they say it." The stallion stated, "By the way, call me the Doctor."
"Bigger... on the inside." I concluded, still speechless, "It's scientifically impossible!"
The inside was a huge console room. I understand that there are probally other rooms, but this one was the most interesting. There were levers, buttons, and computer monitors. I wanted to push them all, but I knew I shouldn't.
"So," The Doctor started, "Where do you want to go?"
"Just to see if it works," I began, "How about November 7, 986, and drop me off at the Manehatten Museum of Art please."
"I have a few rules," The Doctor started, "Rule 1: The Doctor lies, rule 2: Do not interfere with your personal timeline, and rule 3: Trust me, I'm the Doctor."
"Simple." I concluded.
The Doctor pulled a few levers, and I started hearing a strange whirring sound. Then, it stopped.
"We're here." The doctor stated.
"What are you talking about? I asked, "We didn't even move!"
"Oh really?" The doctor asked, "Step outside."
To my astonishment, we were actually outside of the Manehatten Museum of Art. What I didn't notice was the creepy looking pegasus statue adjacent to the Tardis. We entered the museum, and it seemed smaller to me. I was only a little colt when I came here last. We wandered for a bit, and we found the painting. The Doctor froze.
"Doctor?" I asked, "What's wrong?"
"Weeping Pegasi." The Doctor stated.
"I remember this bit!" I exclaimed, "See that grey colt in the front, that's me as a six year old. After today, I did some research on the Weeping Pegasi, and then that's how I got my cutie mark in knowlage and magic."
"Lonely assassians they used to be called." The doctor began, "Nopony knows where they came from, but they're as old as Equestria, or very nearly."
I tried getting closer to the painting without bumping into myself. It didn't work very well.
"Ow." The little cold stated.
"I'm so sorry." I stated.
"Any Questions?" The tour guide asked. "Yes, the one with the blue mane."
"When was this painted?" I heard my younger self ask.
"In the early times of Equestria," He started, "1893 to be exact."
"Come on!" The doctor urged me, "Back to the Tardis!"
"Why?" I asked.
"Clearly it's a message from somepony stu-" He vanished mid-sentence and I woke up in my house.
The Video Message (Chapter Two)
Ponyville, Equestria
May 23, 1001 C.E
I woke up with a start. How did I get here? When did I get here? All I know is that I was back in bed, on who knows what day. I looked around. Nothing seemed out of place to me. My old Summer Sun Celebration poster was still on the wall, my old baseball cap is still on the chair, and my walls are still blue.
"Dad?" Evening asked me, "You still here?"
"Yeah..." I began "What day is it?"
"The twenty-third of May." She stated, "I found something you should see on a DVD."
We walk downstairs to the living room. It still looked the same, but I could feel something was different. Evening inserted the dvd into the dvd player, and hit the Bonus Features tab. A different video came up. It was the Doctor. On a DVD!
"The Doctor." I said with certainty.
"Who's the doctor?" Evening asked.
"He's the Doctor." I explained.
"Yup. That's me." The Doctor on TV stated.
"He can hear us!" I exclaimed.
"No, but I know what you're going to say." He explained.
"Where are you?" I asked.
"October fifteenth, 964." He told me.
"How?" I asked, "Your Tardis is here in the alleyway at Sugar Cube Corner."
"One of the Weeping Pegasi." He started, "There was one trying to get to the Tardis and it sent me back in time."
"When?" I asked.
"And that's all I've got," He started, "I don't know what's stopped you talking, but I can guess, the pegasi are coming for you. I'm sorry, I'm very sorry. It's up to you now."
"What do we do?" I asked.
"The Tardis is located in the alleyway of Sugar Cube Corner. I need you to send it back to me. Here's some advice so you don't die. Don't blink, don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast, faster than you can believe. Don't turn your head, don't look away, and don't blink. Good Luck." He stated lastly, as the video stopped.
"We need to go. Now!" I exclaimed
"How far is Sugar Cube Corner?" Evening asked.
"No more than five minutes." I stated. The angels were going to zap us back in time and let us live to death! That's not as bad as the Cybercolt invasion, wait, that won't happen for another month or so. Anyways, running from psychopathic pegasi that could send you back in time is so much fun.
By the time we got to the alley, I opened up the Tardis with my key. She opened up immeadiately. I still can't grasp the fact that the Tardis is bigger on the inside. Evening Breeze didn't know what to say.
"Wh... What is this?" She asked me.
"This is the Tardis." I started to explain, "You see... I am a time traveler, saving the world one event at a time!"
"Where are we going?" She asked.
"October fifteenth, 964." I told her. I opened up the console and flipped some levers. The tardis started to make some noises, and then nothing.
