Boom!
I ran behind a nearby wall and unholstered my pistol and started blind firing into the stream of rebels closing in on my position. " Damn it Vigil I thought you said you took control of those turrets!" I yelled while tossing a frag grenade. I heard a beeping noise from the console and ran toward it; I unhooked the A.I. chip and put it in an open slot in my armor. " Of course I did the rebels must've destroyed them." Vigil said calmly. I sighed heavily and ran back into cover.
I tossed another frag grenade down the hall and jumped through the smoke firing my pistol. " Vigil where the hell do I go now!?" I exclaimed facing a fork in the road... well hallway. " Go left twenty meters then straight and that's were our next objective will be." I did so avoiding rebels and killing a few. I kicked open a door and entered the room checking my corners. I was grabbed from behind by a rebel and I threw him over my back and shot him in the head. I looked up and saw a large ring glowing white in the center of the room.
"Um... Vigil what's that?"
"That's our objective. We as in 'you' must destroy the teleportation device." I looked around and I couldn't find anything to destroy the ring. I turned around and grew wide eyed when I saw a rocket team in front of me. " Son of a bitch!" I said running toward the giant ring. I jumped but the rocket team fired and sent me flying into the ring. Well goodbye world. I thought.

I woke up free falling with the front of my body facing the ground. I pressed a button on my palm and my jet pack ignited slowing my fall. I looked around and I saw clouds and a blue sky. Strange I was in a facility in space just a minute ago.
I looked back down and saw a small village that looked like something from a renaissance Earth. " John may I suggest you land somewhere outside the village?" Vigil said. " Good idea Vigil." I said while turning another direction and I saw a cyan streak heading straight towards me. " Why me?"
The cyan color collied into me knocking me off course and with me hitting the ground face first. Thank god I wear a helmet. I turned my body to face the sky and saw the cyan color looking at me strangely. The weird part is it has wings and rainbow colored hair. " Who and what are you?" The voice was feminine and she was giving me a death glare. " Um... hi."
She still give me the death glare. I slowly lifted my arm up and was about to pull out my knife but I decided against it.
" Okay so you can talk now tell me what you're doing here!?" She got closer to my visor I was about to close when I heard five other voices call it's name. ' Rainbow!' She looked away and I kicked Rainbow off of me so I could finally get up. "Hey!" Rainbow yelled at me and was about to throw what I think was punch at me. I grabbed her hoof and I added a little bit of pressure. I turned my head and saw the other five equines staring at me except for a pink one with blue eyes that seemed to be bouncing around me.
The pink one spoke, " Hi my name's Pinkie Pie what's your's? Oh waiwaitwait lemme guess is it scary bug alien or-" I cut her off by putting my hand over her mouth but she still kept talking. I looked at the others and each of them were different colors. One is a lavender coat with amethyst eyes, a horn with violet hair and tail with a pink highlight. Another one has an orange coat with blonde hair and tail with green eyes. The third one has a white coat with purple hair and tail with a curl the eyes are a shade of blue .The last one has a butter yellow coat with pink hair and tail, the eyes are a teal color, she looked a little shy.
I looked at the cyan one in my hand and eased up. " Okay buster what are you?" Rainbow still gave me the death glare until the lavender one walked up. The lavender one sighed and shook her head and spoke, " Rainbow Dash why do you always think something is wrong when you meet something new?"
" Sorry Twilight it's just after the wedding I've been high alert." I looked at them and just stood there and said, " Alright you have a lot of questions and so do I but how about I give you my name. I'm Sergeant John Baxtor." They all looked at me weirdly. I looked to my side and saw a hologram of vigil next to me. I like Vigil's form a wingless dragon with a green body with ones zeros going through him. His arms, legs, and head are white so was the tail. The tip of the tail is also green and seemed to move like fire. " Hello I am Vigil an artificial intelligence designed to be with John to assist him in almost any situation." I face palmed and shook my head. " Alright I told you my name and now you can tell me and Vigil all of your names." I said trying to be calm.
Twilight introduced herself first then Rainbow Dash then Pinkie Pie. The orange one stepped up. " Howdy Ah'm Applejack." She put her hoof out and we shook. That's a tough grip. I thought forcing myself not to grab my wrist. The white one stepped up. " Hello dear my name is Rarity and I have to say whoever gave the design for your clothing must be ashamed of that is simply atrocious." My eye twitched when I heard her voice it was like a snobby business woman. I held back my anger though. The yellow one walked up rather shyly. I decided to be patient. " Hello... my... name is... Fluttershy." I decided not to say anything my armor was able to pick it up any way. " John we appear to have company," Vigil said, " and it looks to be important." I looked up and saw a golden chariot in the sky pulled by armored pegasi. My binoculars zoomed in and I saw a white figure sitting on the chariot. It has a white coat with a horn and wings and it is also wearing a crown. The chariot landed in front of us and I saw the group next to me bow down. Twilight got up and ran to hug the obvious royalty. " Princess it's so good to see you... but wait what are you doing here?" The Princess smiled down and her violet yes glared at me. " I wish to speak to our new arrival." I looked down at Vigil who shrugged. " Yeah a big help you've been." I said to Vigil leaning towards him.

I looked at the Princess with a curious glare. I was about to speak until I realised I still had my hand on Pinkie's mouth. I put my hand away and Pinkie said, " Hi Princess how're doing? Are here to throw our new friend a party!? I knew I should've brought my party cannon." I looked at Pinkie for a second then at the Princess I cleared my throat and said, " Hi I'm John Baxtor," I bowed to show respect, " And this is my friend Vigil." I pointed to Vigil who is still a hologram. Vigil spoke, " Hello may I ask your actual name if that wouldn't be much of a problem."
The Princess smiled at us and spoke, " You may call me Celestia." I looked around and saw a forest next to us. I didn't feel like saying anything but I couldn't shake this feeling off that something was watching us. Vigil's 'eyes' popped open and his hologram disappered. "Vigil what is it?" I asked with concern. " Unknown signatures detected, scanning now... unknown signature definitly organic but has another reading I can't place my virtual claw on." I looked at the forest and saw three pairs of glowing green eyes staring at us. The figures emerged and they looked like wolves but were covered in wood and twigs. " Timberwolves." I heard Celestia say. I unholstered my assault rifle and set the rate of fire to burst and aimed it at the middle timberwolf. " Vigil scan for any weak points."
" Fire when they open their mouths that my cause them to choke and crumble." The middle one opened it's mouth and I fired into it's mouth. The timberwolf started choking and it shattered. I did the same to the other two with ease and they shattered. I lifted my gun to my shoulder and was about to walk off when I heard a small rumbling noise. I turned around and saw that all three of them have merged into a bigger version of a timberwolf. I set my assault rifle to automatic and pulled the trigger. The bullets hit it but it just twitched. I brought out my combat knife and ran towards it. The timberwolf opened it's mouth to try and take a bite out of me. I grabbed it's lower jaw and tore it off. I then shoved my knife in it's mouth and started twisting it. I noticed green blood started dipping on my armor. It stopped shaking and it became a limp body. I threw it done and holstered my knife. The others looked at me with fear in their eyes, all except Celestia.

"I'm sorry you had to see that but where I come from it's fight or die." I said looking at the timberwolf. "I'll go to your capital with every precaution you need to do." I looked at the others and they all nodded. " I understand that where you come from it's very different," Celestia said, " But I believe that having you under constant secruity is not a good idea." I gave Celestia a confused look under my helmet. " If there are any more questions about my kind I'll answer them at your capital." I said. "And if you're thinking about me riding in that chariot you don't have to. I have my own means of flight." Rainbow Dash flew in front of me and said, " How? You don't have any wings." I pressed a button on my palm and the jet pack ignited causing Rainbow to move back.

We arrived at the captial known as Canterlot. We landed in front of a castle and I looked up and saw a tower with a telescope on it. " Shall we head inside?" Celestia asked. I nodded and we all walked inside. I saw glass window showing images of the others wearing some kind of jewelry with a bright light hitting a creature that looked much like Celestia only darker and more terryfiying. We stopped when Celestia walked to her throne and she sat down. " Now John how bout telling us a little bit about your kind." Celestia said witha smile. " Okay before I do let me take off my helmet."
" Of course." I turned my helmet making a soft popping noise and liftted it up reaviling my face. I have short brown hair and green eyes. My skin is a little tan, after all I only had this armor for a little while. Everyone looked at me with surprise. Did the think I looked like something else. " If you want to know about humanity lets just start." The all nodded in agreement. I pressed a button on my wrist and a hologram appeared featuring important events of human history. The first one to open was over Europe, China, and Russia. The next one was about the founding of Americas and the American Revolution. What happened next was slavery and the Civil War. They looked at the hologram with horror. The next event was World War one. Not my favorite. Next was World War two. It showed images of the intense battles and the holocaust. They all started crying when I stopped the hologram there.
"Humans are awful creatures," I said, " We look for power, wealth, and so many other things that we are blinded by what is happening." The group looked at me with tears still in their eyes. I continued. " Which is why I need to figure out a way to leave so I don't cause any trouble." Just then a loud roar of an engine passed by us. I put on my helmet and looked out the window and I saw a rebel dropship land down in the streets unloading soldiers. " God damn it!" I shouted has I took a few steps back and jumped out the window with shards of glass in front of me.
