Near the wreck of the Moldova, off the coast of Brazil

Do you see anyone? Boris asked. Not yet comrade, the Mi-8 HiP helicopter pilot shouted back over the deep thumping sound of the helicopters rotors. Down there! Boris called pointing to a floating timber. It’s Ptrankativich! Called the co-pilot. The pilot brought the helicopter down to ten feet above Ptrankativich. Then a rescue diver jumped into the water, he put Ptrankativich onto a folding stretcher then the helicopter co-pilot dropped the cable for the rescue crane. The diver hooked up both himself and Ptrankativich to the cable. The co-pilot then whinched them both into the helicopter. Is he alive Boris asked?
