Katheryn Barchett is stuck at home for a few days after a major injury and surgery, so her close friend brings her a game based off their favorite TV show. Upon buying the game and a device that lets them enter the fully-interactive world with almost completely sentient NPCs, she takes a liking to an NPC based on one of her favorite characters, Twilight Sparkle. However, a certain unicorn's drive for knowledge takes her to the breaking point; when the game world and the real world begin to become too closely connected, Katheryn must find any available NPC to help contact the game's creator and find a way to stop the train of madness before the bounds of reality and fantasy are completely destroyed.
