Prologue

The peaceful land of Equestria has been invaded.

One summer night, Castle Canterlot disappeared without a trace, leaving in its place Castle Dracula, a sinister construction of darkness and damnation. With no goddess of sun or moon to protect their children, the innocent denizens of Equestria were set upon by Count Dracula's minions.

But out of the darkness rode six warriors, the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony. Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy... together, this band of friends fought to thwart the designs of Count Dracula.

As if to spite them, Count Dracula's forces rent their hometown nearly to ashes. In the wake of that tragedy came another, leaving the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony at the mercy of one of Dracula's most sinister servants. All is not lost however, as the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony have gained the upper hand by outsmarting Dracula's wily minion, and casting Dracula's influence under a cloud that leaves his servants in confusion and disarray.

Now that Evil has laid the first blow, it is time for Good to press its counterattack.

And none can say which will emerge victorious...
