Chapter 1: It Resurfaces
In Equestria 5,000 years ago, an ancient organization was stalking the night. The organization was known as the Night Hooves which was a group of assassins and thieves who killed cruel ponies and stole from the evil rich and the friendly poor. 3,000 years later the Night Hooves lost a few of their best members. Nearly all the Night Hooves members are dead by Present Day Equestria. All except one. His name is Nightshroud who was a young Alicorn who had white fur with a black mane and tail. And his cutie mark was a dagger dripping with blood next to some coins which meant he was born for assassinating and thieving. His father and his mother were the two Alicorns who were in charge of the Night Hooves until he was born. Sadly he never knew his parents because they
died. As he was raised in the Canterlot Orphanage, he was very different from the other ponies there because he was silent and sneaky so when the orphanage ponies played hide and seek he was never found. One night in his room he smelled smoke and when he woke up he heard a voice say "Wakey Wakey, eggs and bakey. Good to see you Nightshroud.". "Who are you and what do you want with me?" he asked scared. "I only want one thing from you is to see you burn you little son of a bitch." the voice said evilly. Suddenly the voice jumped out the window and Nightshroud got out of bed, look out the window and saw a pony with a scarred face and a cigar run off in the night. A few years later as he and the orphanage ponies went on a trip to the Everfree Forest, he noticed a cave. When he entered the mouth of the cave, he saw dried blood on the walls and floors. And as he traveled more into the cave he found a uniform that is white and red with gauntlets that had retractable blades. On it he found a letter that read "Dear son, if you are reading this then we are not alive. Have you noticed you're more sneaky than other ponies? Well that's because you're an assassin and you have to keep the Night Hooves legacy strong. Your mother and I are counting on you Nightshroud. We love you and your assignment is to kill Necroblade. Signed, Silent Strider, your father." He said to himself "I'll do it dad. I'll do it to make you happy and mom too. I swear Necroblade will drown in his blood! I promise you that.".
