Death in the nights

Rainbow rubbed her muzzle. She had fallen off her bed while she was having a nightmare. She heard a couple knocks on her door, then a sniffle that sounded too familiar. Rainbow got up to see who it was. It was Fluttershy, as she thought who it was.

"What do you want Fluttershy, i'm trying to get some sleep." Rainbow stopped in front of the door.

"I-its a-bout pink-" Fluttershy burst out into tears. Rainbow opened her door and tried to calm the pony laying on her front porch down.

"What happened to who?" Rainbow tried asking.

"Pinkie... P-Pie" Fluttershy sobbed.

"Is she hurt? What happened to Pinks? Tell me!" Rainbow nearly yelled. When she looked up a guard handed her a slip.

"My dearest Rainbow Dash, I'm very sorry to tell this to you but it was the only way. Pinkie Pie is... Dead." Rainbow looked up and her eyes started welling into tears. "All of us are sad Rainbow. But I don't know how you will be able to face this challenge. Many apologies, Celestia." Rainbow dash's tears dripped onto the paper. She glided down to Twilight's house. She heard crying coming from inside. Rainbow dash looked around as everyone started coming towards Rainbow. Everypony seemed to have been crying, and they still were. None of them said a word. Everypony in Ponyville started coming to what was now "The mane five". Somepony said something, but it was muffled and too disoriented from all of the crying. A pony came out and said. "I saw it all happen."
