The day started out normal, but that can be said about any story. And what is normal? I don’t know, but I can talk about it at another time, if you want. But back to my story. I was at home, being a couch potato, and playing on my computer. I couldn’t hang out with my friends because it was a Saturday, and our school thought it was a good idea to have all the sports games on a saturday each week, I couldn’t play because I had an accident a year or two back, and it rendered me almost useless in physical activities. I only pass in gym at school is because the teacher feels sorry for me. Needless to say, I’m stupidly smart, and it gets me into trouble. So I spend most of my time at home on my computer typing up the starts of stories and not finishing them. I have only finished, like, three? I don’t even know how many I finished.
It was about three o’clock when my mom and little sister got home. They went to the supermarket to get the normal stuff to live on, like milk, and bread, and-I-don’t-really-know-even-though-I-eat-it. As they went through the door, my little sister Ella rushed up to me.
“ Zeak!” she yelled at me. “LOOK WHAT MOMMY GOT ME!”
I grumbled at the sound of her voice. “Mom, tell her my name is Zack, not Zeak. And I don’t care what you have, leave me alone to write.” My mom walked over to Ella and picked her up.
“Zack, just humour her, she is only three. And she can’t say your name right yet, so just calm down and be patient, these things come in time.”
I looked up at Ella, “If you promise to leave me alone after, fine, I’ll see it,”
“I Pinkie Pie Promise!” She giggled out. She then held out her pinkie to me. I grudgingly put mine out and shook the two pinkies.
“Okie Dokie Lokie!” Ella screamed in a high pitched voice.
“Mom. what is she spewing out now?” I asked her over the screams of laughter.
“It’s just some lines from that show Ella watches on that children channel. And she loves it, so I got her one of the new toys they came out with.” My Mom said as she handed me the bag.
I opened it and drew out the plastic and cardboard box.
“‘My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic?’ What is this, another remake of a show that should have died? And what is this? ‘Twilight Sparkle’s Magic Mirror? Based on the new upcoming movie?’ What is this, some crappy scam to stay on the air? Really mom, you shouldn’t have wasted money on this.”
“And what should I have ‘Wasted money on?’ Your stupid gaming accounts? Or how about how much you make me spend every time a new game comes out for your Play-Box, or X-Station? I got her something she would like.” My mom told me.
I looked at the box and found the purple and sparkles almost unbearable. I almost just threw it just to be mean, but instead, to my utter shame, and to the start of this story, I opened it. I put the newly unbox-ified toy on my closed laptop.
“So, what is it supposed to do?” I asked in confusion.
“Silly Filly!” Ella giggled. “Your suppose to look into it and click one of the buttons with Princess Celestia on it, and she tells you what you are as a pony! I can’t wait to try it!” And with that, she snatched the stupid mirror out of my hands and pressed a button I couldn't see.
“You are a beautiful Alicorn Princess!” A woman's voice erupted out of the mirror. Ella seemed overly excited about it. She then became the most obnoxious thing ever, by spamming the button one metric Crap-ton of times.
“You-you-you-y-y-y-y-y-y-You are a beautiful Alicorn Princess!” I grabbed it out of pure annoyance and told Ella, “Lets see if I’M an Alicorn thingy too, and I’m right about it being a fake, or if it is still a fake, but not as much.” I held the mirror in front of my face and saw my face, I won’t horror you with the details, but lets just say that my mouth has gotten me into more than one fight.
I pressed the toys button and waited for the alicorn B.S., but it didn't come. Instead I was greeted with this. “You my dear boy are clearly a Pegasus, a fast one too.” I immediately dropped it and looked at it in confusion, Ella seemed delighted by this though.
“Your a Pegasus Zeak! You’re like Rainbow Dash!
“Im like what bow dash?”
“One of the mane six ponys Silly Billy! She is the fastest pony in Equestria!”
I looked at Ella in pure contempt for believing in such a stupid show. I picked the mirror back up and tried it again, to see if it would give the same answer, but it didn’t. After the ninth or tenth try, even my mom got mad at me. The picture of a white cartoon horse with a horn and wings even started to look irritated. I put the stupid mirror down and went back to my writing. I tuned out my family by putting my headphones on. Not those crappy earbud things, but real deal Overears. I love those. I turned the bass on my computer up all the way and felt my head vibrate as the dubstep I mixed for fun a while back raced out of the mini speakers on my head.
I finally turned it down at about six or seven and got some dinner. I then watched some plane saturday night shows with my mom, Ella put to bed at seven thirty, then went to my room. I used my computer to video chat some friends, and talked until about ten. I laid down in my bed and finally started to think about how the mirror knew I was a boy, and not another screaming little girl. And why it made me the opposite of who I was. I mean, I can’t even run without something hurting like all hell. I had so many questions that I didn’t even notice when I fell asleep, besides you know, being asleep.
I woke up at about one thirty, and I heard voices, I got out of bed and went into the living room, where the voices were coming from. As I neared the room, I saw that a blueish glow was emitting from the computer I set up for Ella, to do her little girl things and such. I went to shut it off but stopped when I heard one line.
“Stop Rainbow Dash-” I didn’t really pay attention to the rest of what was said, but I saw a cyan pony thing with rainbow mane and tail flying at breakneck speeds. I was a little intrigued at it, and did a little searching on the interwebs about this blue mystery. I found out some stupid facts about the show, and that the creator was, I don’t really remember, Lora Frost, I think it was.
I wrote the whole thing off and started to go back to my room, as I got closer, I stepped on the ‘Magic Mirror’. I heard something go “Crack” and instantly felt sick to my stomach. I picked up the broken mirror and took it into the kitchen. I turned on the main light and looked at the mirror, I was a little confused about what I saw. I hit the button and waited for the alicorn phrase to play through, but It said something completely different.
“Come my young Buck, it is your turn to go through the looking glass.”
I dropped the mirror and backed away from the table. I was mostly confused about what just happened. But also a little intrigued. I walked back to the table and picked up the mirror. I looked back into it and hit the button again.
Nothing happened.
I was more than a little confused at this point, and I thought that I had broken the mirror for real. I went into the bathroom and held the mirror up the the large one we had in there. It was a foot to head mirror, and I held it up and faced the toy to the real one. I hesitated for a second and slowly reached for the button, worried about what the mirror would say. I built up my mind power and finally pushed the button.
“Time to go now My Little Pony.” The mirror said. I looked at it in confusion and felt a par of...of...of, well of hooves push into my back. The last thing I heard before I fell THROUGH THE FREAKIN’ MIRROR, was a slightly slurred voice say, “Yay! Now I get muffinz with Luna!”

I woke up on my back, a sleeping position I absolutely loath. I groaned as I started to roll onto my side when I noticed four things at once.
1.I wasn’t in my bed
2.I was feeling my legs move in an odd way
3.I felt an odd sensation on my back as I stretched, and lastly
4.EVERYTHING WAS IN TECHNICOLOR!
I started to panic and run when my legs gave out from under me. I looked down at them to see that my knees had been reversed, and were facing behind me. I also took notice that I had HOOVES INSTEAD OF HANDS AND FEET!!!1!
I quickly started to run, again, and to my sorrow, I failed miserably. I started to lie there and hyperventilate until I heard voices, one new, and one I heard from somewhere, but I couldn’t place. I rolled onto my other side and saw two ponys walking towards me. One was a bright pink blob of laughter and more pink. And the other was a calmer looking dark purple and light purple, almost dark pink. As they moved closer, I could hear the pink one’s voice.
“I’m telling you Twilight, my Pinkie sense is never wrong! And I sense I new pony out here that I haven't met yet!”
“I believe you Pinkie, but I highly doubt that anypony would be so foalish as to take a nap in the everfree forest. I mean just think Pinkie. Pinkie?-”
The purple pony (?) trailed off as she saw the pink one hop towards me, and I don’t mean skip, or jump the last foot or so, but hop all the way to me.
“HI newpony! Im Pinkie Pie, and I know everyone, except I don’t know You, Want to be friends?”
“Wh-where am I?” I croaked out.
“Well duh, you Silly Filly, in Equestria, where all Ponys live!”
