//-------------------------------------------------------// Transported to Another World -by Rebeler2013- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Ordinary Life //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Ordinary Life David woke up from a deep slumber.  His vision still blurred, he slowly crawled out of bed and turned on the light.  The light gave out little life to the small apartment that he lived in.  David lived in an old, rusty apartment.  The walls were dark brown with semi cracks on the wall.  The floor was just a plain old wooden tile.  He had a cheap TV, a small kitchen, and a worn out brown couch.  Everything just seemed brown.  David slowly shuffled over to the kitchen to find something to satisfy his hunger.  He opened the cabinet to find only a small portion of food in there.  The only breakfast he could think of was plain old corn flakes. "Well, It's better than nothing." David said in a small and annoyed tone. He grasped the box and opened the fridge to find some milk.  He looked all around the fridge, only to find no milk there.  He looked at the clock;  6:30 am. I don't want to go to the store at this time of hour, David thought to himself. Annoyed, David closed the fridge door and grabbed a bowl.  He was just going to eat his bowl without any milk.   David slowly but surely poured the cereal inside of the white bowl.  He grabbed a spoon and continued to walk towards the couch in front of the TV.  He sat down on the couch, only to be uncomfortable by the cheap couch.  David Slowly aimed his hand towards the remote and grasped it.  He pointed it toward the TV and pushed the power button.  The TV jolted up with power and started playing some cartoons.  He wasn't interested in any cartoons at the moment.  He surfed through the channels and stopped at the news channel.  An African-American woman on the screen with a blue dress, brown and curly hair began to talk. "It looks like it is going to be a stormy one today folks! The temperature is dropping to 50 degrees fahrenheit.  The clouds are starting to gloom over Debuque.  Make sure to grab a jacket before you leave your homes today!" David, chomping on his corn flakes, decided to change his mind on what to watch.  And what is better to watch then some good old My Little Pony.  The show stopped airing at 6 seasons, but David still loved to watch the re-runs of the show.  One of the re-runs he was watching was an old but memorable episode; Magical Mystery Cure.  He is not sure why he likes this episode the most.  Maybe it's just because he liked the idea of Twilight Sparkle becoming and Alicorn and Princess.  David watch the episode, leaning back on the couch.  He loved the songs of the season finale.  David kept watching the episode until it was over.  After the credits started to roll up, he grabbed the remote and pushed the power button once more.  The TV then abruptly went black.  David's bowl of Corn Flakes were empty.  He slowly got up, with bowl in hand, and started to walk toward the kitchen.  He put the empty bowl inside of the sink. I'll clean it later, David decided.  He looked at the clock again; 7:00 am. "Crap! I need to get ready for work!" Exclaimed David. David ran to his closet, where he stored his McDonald's shirt and pants, and quickly threw them on.  He ran out the door soon after he grabbed his phone and car keys.  He started up the engine in his old, beaten up, black 2009 BMW and proceeded to speed out of the residence.  He eventually made it to McDonald's, where he began to work as a cashier.  David did not like his job at all, but it was the only job he could get hired for.  Plus, he got payed anyways to do his work.  It was about 9:00 pm when David left work.  He drove back to his rusty apartment and felt exhausted.  He never knew that such a easy and boring job could make him so tired.  He slowly inserted his apartment key in to the keyhole.  He turned and unlocked the door.  He walked inside and closed the door behind him.  David took off his McDonald's Shirt and pants and decided to put on a white T-Shirt and some black gym shorts.  Shortly after putting on the clothes, he started to feel a minor pain in his body. It's just probably from work thought David. He then slowly shuffled his way towards his bed.  He was 5 feet away from getting to the bed, when the pain started to get even worse.  David clenched his heart and ran into the bathroom, where he found his painkillers in the medicine cabinet.  David frantically opened the bottle.  He grabbed to pills and chucked them in his mouth.  The pain kept on going.  Next thing he knew, he passed out on the floor. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Welcome to Ponyville! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Welcome to Ponyville! David slowly started to open his eyes once again.  The pain subsided, and he was feeling much better than he was before.  Once he regained his vision, David looked at his surroundings.  Books, lots and lots of books.  The walls seemed to be made out of wood, there were stairs walking up to the next floor.  This place looked familiar, too familiar.  David slowly sat up and looked around once more.  He could not believe his eyes.  Was he in the place where he thought he was? Without hesitation, David jumped up in excitement to look around and find out that he was in Twilight's library home.  David squealed in excitement. I can't believe it, I am in Twilight's library!  David's excitement then lowered. It's all just a dream, there is no way that I could be in a pony's home. Feeling bummed, David walked around Twilight's library.  He knew it was a dream.  There is no way he could be in Ponyville.  David decided to walk upstairs, and what he saw, was a purple pony.  He saw the one and only, Twilight Sparkle.  He didn't know how to pursue this, he knew he was in a dream, so he could do anything to her.  Dirty thoughts came to Davids mind. What if I?  He began.  He realized what he was thinking and quickly erased it from his mind.  He stood there, staring at the purple pony laying in the bed before him.  He extended his arm to touch her.  Suddenly, she opened her eyes and looked at David.  Twilight couldn't help but scream in fear.  The horrified scream knocked David onto the floor.  He saw her horn glow briefly before feeling a force of pressure on the side of his face, and knocking him out. David heard voices echo in his head. "What in the name of Celestia is that thing!" exclaimed someone, or thing. "What'r it is, I don't like it." Said another voice.  This voice had some sort of accent. "What do we do?" This voice sounded very soft and gentle. David, once again, regained his vision after being knocked out.  This time, instead of waking up in his bed, like he thought he would be, he was surrounded by some figures.  David could tell he was still in the library.  He couldn't fully grasp his mind right now, he was surrounded by the infamous Mane 6.  David's heart started to race, and he panicked.  Rarity started to yell. "Hurry! Knock it out again!" Just before the white marsh mellow pony could beat David with a book, he yelled out, "Wait!" Rarity stopped dead in her tracks.  The whole Mane 6 looked surprised and some what horrified. "It can talk!" exclaimed Rarity. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" asked the cyan blue pony hovering with her wings.  David was too shocked to even speak or move.  He knew that he was definitely not in a dream.  Everything seemed way too real.  He stuttered a little bit. "I-I'm David.  A-And I don't know why I-I'm here." "What exactly are you?" asked Twilight. "What am I? You don't know what I am?" asked David in return. The whole Mane 6 shook their heads. "Well, I guess you don't know then.  I, am a human." David explained. "A...Human?" asked Fluttershy curiously. "What is a human?" "Well, you are looking at one," David answered. "Very Interesting, I am going to have to contact Princess Celestia about this.  She might have some answers." Said Twilight. The ponies around him just stared at David, while twilight was taking a note with spike about the scene that has just occurred.  Spike then blew the scroll out of mid air. "So uh, W'ere you from pardner?'" asked Applejack. David didn't hesitate and responded in, "Earth." "Earth?" Applejack asked again. "Yes, Earth.  It's where all of the humans live on." David explained. The whole Mane 6 all looked at each other curiously, trying to grasp what David was talking about. "Um, could you take us to this Earth. I mean, if you want." Fluttershy asked in her adorable and soft voice. David thought for a while. "Well, um, I don't think I can.  I passed out on the floor on Earth and ended up here. So I am clueless on how to get out of here or where to go.  We are in Ponyville, correct?" "How did you know this was ponyville?" asked the Rainbow maned pony. David had no choice but to break it to them. "Well uh, I don't really know how to explain this but, you are all cartoons from a TV show on Earth." The ponies looked at David curiously. "What's a TV?" The Mane 6 asked in unison. David continued. "A TV is like a book, but with moving pictures instead.  You are all on the TV." The ponies seemed shocked.  How could they be on this "TV." Pinkie Pie bounced on David. "Well how are you doing Mr. Human! My name is Pinkie Pie! I love to throw parties and what not! We should get to know each other better!  Do you like parties? I like parties! Parties are fun! I throw them almost every day!" She went on and on, eventually David stopped her. "Hold on there Pinkie Pie, calm down!" Pinkie's hair gleamed with delight. "I know we are going to be great friends! Welcome to Ponyville!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Meeting the Folks //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Meeting the Folks David slowly stood up.  The ponies were so tiny! They were only 3 feet tall, compared to david, as he is 5'11. "Wow! You are really really really tall!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "Well, there are bigger people than me.  Some of us can grow up to 7 feet tall!" The ponies looked shocked, and also somewhat aw'ed. "Well, since you are here," Pinkie started, "Might as well meet all the other ponies!" "Know hold on one second Pinkie, do you think it's a real good Idea that we have a human runnin' around these parts?" asked Applejack. "C'mon Applejack! It'll be fun!" Pinkie Pie assured. The ponies argued whether they should take David out to the world of Ponyville to wander around, or to sit tight in the library until Celestia gives the confirmation.  They went on for minutes.  Saying yes, and saying no.  But eventually, they all came to an agreement. "It is agreed," started Twilight, "You can roam around Ponyville.  But If you cause any trouble or get in any fights, we will send you back to the library and have Celestia take care of you." David felt a lot of excitement in his body.  This was every brony's dream, and he was living it.  He got to go around and meet all the ponies from the show.  This was a once in a lifetime chance, and he wasn't going to pass on the opportunity.  Full of energy, David jumped up and jolted out of the library.  As soon as he left, there was a feeling that he had that he hasn't had in a very long time; Happiness.  He looked at his surroundings.  Shops, boutiques, and houses as far as the eye can see.  The first pony he saw from the show was Lyra.  He calmly walked over to her in a gentleman manner.  When he got her attention, he noticed something about her.  She didn't seem horrified or scared of David. "Hello there! My name is David," he started, "what's your name?" David did not want to already address Lyra's name, as he doesn't want to explain about the show and what not. "My name is Lyra.  If you haven't noticed, I am not afraid of you.  I am actually study humans. Don't ask.  Now, tell me about your daily life, I want to learn more about you." The Conversation went on and on as David was answer questions that Lyra threw at him like: "What are your hobbies? What do you eat? Do you have a very special somepony?"  After about 20 questions were answered, Lyra excused him and David continued to meet some other ponies.  Some of the ponies he met on the way were Derpy, Bon-Bon, and almost all of the ponies from the show.  David wanted to take it slow, as he didn't want to attract suspicion about them being cartoons.  He expected all the reactions from them, horror.  Some of the ponies actually ran away and screamed for help.  Most of the ponies actually talked to him.  At about 5:00 pm, David was feeling exhausted.  Meeting all of these ponies were hard work.  He decided to head back to the library.  As he slowly opened the door, he saw Twilight flying with her pair of wings, ordering the books on the shelves with spike.  He walked in and closed the door.  Twilight and Spike seemed to not have heard him, they were too busy arranging the books.  David decided to get their attention by giving off a loud and awkward cough. "Ahem." Twilight and Spiked turned around startled. "Oh, It's just you.  I was just about to come get you." Twilight started.  "Princess Celestia has giving me a letter saying she will come to Ponyville to meet you at noon tomorrow." "Ok then," David Started, "I was just going to ask if it is fine if I could spend the night here at the library?" Twilight thought about this request.  Should she let a complete stranger live in her library? "Alright David, you can stay here." Twilight finally answered. "Thanks Twilight."  David was way to tired to do any thing else for today.  He decided to go upstairs and sleep on the wooden floor.  Twilight flew up and prepared a nice little bed for him.  He thanked her for the hospitality and she continued with the books.  David then started to close his eyes and to think about what has just happened to him.  How did he get here?  Will Celestia put him back in his old and boring life?  David pondered at the possibilities.  But before he knew it, he slowly drifted off into a deep sleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Final Chapter //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Final Chapter David woke up to hear ponies talking in a echoing voices.  He couldn't make out who was talking. "But Princess, isn't that dangerous?" "It is well dangerous my faithful student, but it is the only way that we can send him back to his world.  If this were to succeed, he is going to have to be cooperative and will not fight back." "OK Princess, I will let him know as soon as he wakes up." "Thank you Twilight, I will come back at noon, when you tell him what is going to happen." David heard the door shut.  It sounded like Twilight sighed.  What ever was going to happen, David knew he was not going to like it. David fully awake at around 10 am.  He slowly sat up from the little bed Twilight had made from him.  He looked around him to see Spike still in his long and peaceful slumber.  Spike kept mumbling in his sleep. "You are the biggest jewel I have ever seen."  Spike mumbled.  This made David chuckle a little bit.  That must have gotten Twilight's attention, as he could hear her hoof steps going up the stairs.  She saw him sitting up from the floor. "Good Morning David." Said Twilight. "Good Morning Twilight." David said in return.  "I heard you and some other pony talking.  Was it Celestia?" Twilight nodded. She shortly said afterwards, "Yes, and she told me to tell you this.  Celestia will be coming back at noon to send you back to Earth." That was the news that David did not want to hear.  He loved it in Ponyville. He was in his dream place, with his dream life.  But know that was all going to be crushed because that stupid princess has to send him back to his stupid life back on Earth.  Twilight read his face and could tell he was not happy at all. "Look David," Twilight started, "I'm sorry we have to do this, but you must know that it is not natural to have a human walk around a place full of ponies. I hope you understand."  David nodded in confirmation. But he still had one question in mind. "How did I get here?" asked David. Twilight soon gave the answer.  "I was training for a new spell that could help the princesses with their raising of the sun and moon. But I would deliver the Solar eclipse and Lunar Eclipse.  So when I was trying to cast the spell, I must have missed the step, and the spell probably sent the magic to another dimension, hitting you at the speed of light.  At first I didn't know what happened, but now I know." Well that answered David's question.  But he still did not want to leave.  David stood up and went downstairs, followed with Twilight. "May I have something to eat?" asked David. Twilight nodded.  "Sure, I have already set up breakfast on the table over there." Twilight pointed with her hoof over to a neatly laid table with a cloth, a flower, and what looked like hay toast and eggs.  David was starving, so he didn't hesitate and walked to the table.  There was a fork, which he grabbed and started to eat the eggs, and then the toast.  After he has finished, he decided to read a book. After all, he was in a library.  He asked Twilight if he could borrow a book.  Twilight decided to recommend the book "Daring Doo." "This is one of Rainbow Dash's favorite books!"  Twilight said.  David grabbed the book and started to read it.  It was just like Indiana Jones, but with a pony.  She was just like the show described.  Her wings were broken, she had a brown coat, and she loved adventure.  David must have been reading for 2 hours, as there was a knock on the door.  Twilight opened the door with her horn to find Princess Celestia standing there. "Welcome Princess!" Twilight greeted the sun goddess. "Hello to you also Princess." Celestia said in return.  Celestia directed her attention to David.  David set the book down and started to walk toward Celestia.  He was at about eye level to her. "I suppose that Twilight told you about what is about to happen?" The princess asked.  David nodded. "OK, let's start this shall we?"  Celestia's horn started to glow.  David did not want this to happen, but he had to accept the fact that he didn't belong here.  Just before her horn touched David's forehead, he stepped back. "Just let me ask one question," David started, "Will I remember any of this." "That is a question I am not certain of." Celestia answered. "The best case scenario in my opinion is that you do not remember any of this, so you do not have to think about how much fun you had here and have to leave it all behind." David had to agree with her, he shouldn't remember any of this.  He didn't want to be suffered with happy memories and with he could go back to Ponyville.  Once again, Celestia lowered her horn onto David.  Twilight watch intensely.  All David could see was white, then black. David woke up in his bed.  He looked all around him.  It's like he was having a nightmare.   David was trying to think about what he was dreaming about.  Oh well, I might remember tommorow. //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: Getting to know David //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: Getting to know David David was a 18 year old man.  He had a job at McDonalds and he just sits in his rusty old apartment doing hobbies. Some of his hobbies were playing video games, going on 4chan, and of course, watching My Little Pony.  He was a brony after all, and he had no brony friends.  David wasn't a talking kind of person.  He didn't have any girlfriends and just a few friends he will talk to occasionally.  He was so lonely, he wanted to have people like him.  Energetic, fun, and most of all, a brony.  David loved reading fanfictions inspired by My Little Pony.  Whenever he was bored and had nothing to do, he would go on his Lenovo laptop, and read some fanfics.  It was just another day for David.  He would do his normal routine;  Wake up, eat breakfast, and go to work.  But one day, something happened. Not that something like he got a promotion or found a very special someone.  Something he would have never expected.
