I Just Can't Let You Go...

It was Year 3 of the Training,and Sure Rainbow was a Wonderful Flier,Things Tested her,Pushed her Limits,Broke her Personal records and of course,an ungodly amount of minor cuts,sprains,Bruises and fractures.

But today was different...

It was Windy,Nothing that Pegasus couldn't handle,A storm Lightly Brewed

"Captain,Are you sure we can...*gulp* Do this?" Rainbow said

"You'll be fine!" She sighed

"Okay,Team Lets go!" She said taking off

the others followed

"Okay Cloud Trick Alpha one!" She smiled her lips pressed together.

The Ponies began moving,As rainbow heard Thunder in the background.

"Careful out there!" She called

The trick went flawless and she cheered

"Awesome! We got it down!" She smiled

"Lets Try a new one!" She said,Always Eager to to try something new

"Okay this is how this trick works,..." She explained

and she would command the trick to begin "Last Trick Team,A thunderstorm seems to be heading our way." She said,Not looking at the speed of the impeding storm.

As the trick started,it rained,heavily,Making movement sluggish.

"Come on! You can DO THIS!" She encouraged

But As she flapped the Water conducted the lighting to strike her,on her left wing

The sky was filled with a Bloodcurdling,Painful,and Hollow Scream

"CAPTAINS DOWN!"  a Wing-pony Said getting down to the cloud and looked at the damage

"Oh Dear Luna." She said Shielding her eyes in horror

The Pegasus's body convulsed and twitched,as the hair was burned and her coat caked in ash,her left wing covered in Blood,Hanging Skin and Pus as White blood cells tried to stop the bleeding

Rainbow was barely there,her eyes glassed over and moaning slightly in pain,that's all she can do

"SpitFire! Spitfire! There was an Accident on the Training Sky." A pony said

"Whos hurt and what happened." Spit said looking up

" Rainbow and she got struck by lighting,when you told her to train us in the rain." She said timidly

"I'll get the medics,is anyone preforming First aid." She asked

"Wind Chaser." The pony nodded slowly

"Okay,Make sure everything's okay...and calm everyone down,she'll be fine." SpitFire said

and with that the pony trotted out,knowing that this wasn't gonna end well.
