My Little Doctor: Companions Are Essential

"And this is the Ponyville Town Hall," said Derpy, finishing her tour of the town.

"Fascinating," said the Doctor.  "And I suppose you have a democracy here?"

"Well, I guess we elect the mayor.  But Mayor Mare has been Ponyville's mayor for as long as I can remember," Derpy answered.  "And Princess Celestia and Princess Luna rule over all of Equestria."

"Princesses, so I guess the true ruler is a king or a queen?" asked the Doctor.

"No, just the princesses," Derpy replied.

"Oh, I see.  This Princess Celestia seems very important.  There are statues of her everywhere," the Doctor commented.

Derpy said, "I've never seen those alicorn statues before.  And they don't look like Princess Celestia."

"Oh, no!  Don't blink!  Don't look away, don't close your eyes, don't even blink.  Blink and you're dead!"  the Doctor warned.  "Those statues are weeping angels.  Or more accurately for this world, weeping alicorns."

"What's a weeping alicorn?  And why can't I blink?"  Derpy asked.

"It's a life form that looks like a statue because it's only alive and able to move if you're not looking at it.  If you stare at it, it's frozen in time.  But every time you blink, it moves closer and closer until it gets you!"  the Doctor exclaimed.

"Ah!  They're getting closer!  What happens if they gets us?" Derpy inquired.

"They send you back in time and feed of your potential energy.  That is, you would have already died in the past and wouldn't be here anymore.  I know, it's complicated," said the Doctor.

"How are we going to get away?  They're all around us!" Derpy yelled.

"Duck!" yelled the Doctor, as the statues looked at eachother and were forever frozen as true statues.

Later, a cold breeze blew through the town, as Nightmare Moon arose in the dark.  Nightmare Moon shouted, "Prepare for the greatest Nightmare Night you have ever seen! Now, you shall give us your candy or we shall eat you!  AH, HA, HA, HAAA!"

"Oh, no you don't!"  the Doctor answered.

"What?  A puny earth pony challenges me?"  Nightmare Moon questioned.

"I'm no mere earth pony!  I am a Time Lord; the Time Lord from whom armies run away at the mere mention of his name.  For I am the Doctor and the Doctor is in!"  exclaimed the Doctor.

Scootaloo said, "Weak!  Somepony's ruining Nightmare Night!"

Apple Bloom said, "Y'all know this is all in fun, right?"

The Doctor said, "Oh, sorry.  I had no idea.  I'm new here.  So she's not really threatening you?"

Sweetie Belle said, "Heck, no.  Princess Luna's just play-acting."

The Doctor ran up to Princess Luna and said, "So you're Princess Luna," as he shook her hoof.  "I've been wanting to meet you.  I hear you and your sister rule this land."

Luna said, "You've been wanting to meet me?  We've already met, Doctor."

"We have?" the Doctor asked, "When?  I've only just arrived."

"We met 2000 years ago," Luna answered.

"Oh.  I guess I will at some point in the future travel to the past and meet you.  It's all timey-wimey.  I get confused," the Doctor said.  "Well, you'd better get back to Nightmare Night.  Don't want to disappoint the young ones.  Come on, Miss Hooves!  Why don't we go to the past and meet Luna for the first time?"

Derpy said, "I don't understand what you mean."

"Oh, you will.  Follow me to the TARDIS," the Doctor said.

"What's a TARDIS?" Derpy asked.

"Time And Relative Dimension In Space; TARDIS.  It's that blue box over there," the Doctor said as he pointed.

And off they went.
