A Family Romp Featuring John and Octavia

It was a bright and beautiful day in Equestria. The sun was shining, birds are chirping and everything everywhere is peaceful. Well, you wouldn't exactly know that at this particular moment. John starts to open his eyes due to a loud noise outside. John looks around and identifies where he is. It's a small, secluded room with a window, a desk and a mirror. Something accustomed to a Guest Room, for example. "What is going on, exactly? And who can I hear in my head?" Said Jo- Wait, you can hear me? "Well, yeah. That's all I really can hear, except for those shouts out the window." Well, if it's ok with you, I'm just gonna act like I'm talking to someone about these events. In the meantime, go look out the window.

"Are those.. Ponies?" Well, yeah John. You are in Ponyville at this exact moment in time, and that loud bang you heard came from that Pink Pony crashing into that cart. "Well, Ok then I guess. Guess I'm stuck here. Oh hey, Soup." (Forgot to mention, there's a bowl of Soup on the desk, along with a newspaper and a note.) "Eck. Tastes like Hay. Might as well read the paper." John picks up the paper and starts to read the headline. "Yeah, this is Ponyville alright. 'Rainbow Dash wins the race to the end of the race' Wow. Are all the ponies names that fruity?" Get used to it, John. You should go down the stairs, there should be someone waiting there for you.

"Uh, hello?" Said John, as he walked through into the Living Room. Then, a small pony walked in through the Kitchen door. "Oh, um. Hello. Please, take a seat." The small grayish pony said, as John took a seat on the mares red sofa. "So, uh. Who are  you and what's going on?" John asked. "Oh, yes of course. My name is Octavia and this is my house. I don't exactly understand what you are, at the moment, but I have a friend who's coming over in a bit who should inform me." Octavia explained. "So I guess we'll just have to wait for a.. Wait, who was that?" "Oh, uh. That's the Narrator, I guess." John stated. Pleased to meet you, Octavia. "....Right. Anyway.." Octavia was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Oh, that should be her." Octavia stated as she trotted over and opened the door.

"Hi Octavia! You said you wanted to show me something?" Twilight Sparkle (recently elected Princess Sparkle) opened with, as she walked with Octavia into the living room. Twilight took one glance at the Human and breathed a sigh of relieve. "Don't worry Octavia. That's just a human." Twilight told Octavia. "By the way, can you hear that?" "Oh yeah, that's 'the Narrator'." Yo. "..Uh.. Okay! Anyway, where did you find.." Twilight paused. "John. I found him lying on the street a few days ago. It was raining at the time and I didn't want to leave him there. So I brought him here. Speaking of which, how do you know what he was just by glancing at him?" Questioned Octavia. "Oh, I'm gonna be one come June 16th." Twilight replied as she was thinking about how Hasbro have sold out at this point.

"Ok John. What's the last thing you remember before you was asleep?" Twilight asked as she walked over to the sofa. "Well, I was on my computer, looking at.. *cough* things. I then remember drinking some kind of Apple juice and a loud noise. And now I'm here." John stated, not aware of the Twist down the road. "Huh. I've got nothing really... Maybe it's best if John stays here for a while to regain some of his memory." Said Twilight as she walked towards the door, opening it slightly. "As soon as he does remember something, let me know and I'll be back over soon. See you guys later." Twilight said, closing the door with her magic. "Guess you're my house guest for a while then. I'll fix us up something to eat." Tavi offered, as she walked towards the Kitchen. "Speaking of, I don't suppose you could give me something without Hay? Not really into Hay." John asked. "I'll try." Replied Tavi. John then coughed.

Bonus chapter to fill up the Word limit: John went to the bathroom because he felt gassy for some reason, while he was there he heard a magical voice tell him to never sprinkle if he did tinkle. John said okay and then went to the town center because why not? So then John went to Sugarcube Corner, specifically the basement. Inside the basement, there was a Pink Pony who was about to cut the wings off a rainbow maned pegasus to add to her batter. John told the mare that using guts wouldn't be very beneficial to the shops business, and that if one piece of information about what she was doing was to ever appear in the news, she would be stripped of a bakers license and her store would most likely be shut down. The pony remembered this and started a new store which sold Toenails. Just.. Toenails. It was really weird but it actually became the number one store in Equestria, with Princess Celestia herself giving it a platinum medal for excellence. Apparently Ponies like Toenails as much as they like Hay. John then went home and Octavia made him a cheese sandwich. It was nice coming from someone who doesn't have hands or fingers.
