Chapter 1: New colony
She needed to find a safe place to start laying eggs, she constantly moved around the Amazon Rainforest, she did not notice, she was walking directly into a hole. The queen stepped into the side of the hole, thinking she fell into a trap of an ant-lion, she tried to scurry away, but disappeared in a flash, falling into a portal.
//Somewhere else...
The queen found herself in a new, strange habitat. She flew to what appeared to be a fallen tree. A great place to start her empire! She dug deep into the ground, before covering the entrance.  She cut off her wings, hoping it will provide enough food for her future colony...
When her larvae hatched, she scurried to her wings, cut off a bit of it, and started feeding it to he starving babies. The wings easily satisfied about a hundred larvae, soon she noticed the started to cover themselves in silk, the babies are now growing inside their cocoon, the queen was starving, a month without food or water.
She unblocked her tunnels, scurried out and notice a small insect moving close to the nest, it was no other than a grasshopper! With just 1 wing left, she can use the flesh of the grasshopper to feed her larvae instead of her wings, she hurried to the unsuspecting prey, scanning for a soft place, between the thorax and the head, was a soft spot. The queen dashed to the grasshopper, delivering a bite, before bringing the killing blow. Never in a long time did a queen kill a prey. She dragged the carcass of the grasshopper to her nest.
//A small cottage...
Fluttershy was worried about her pet grasshopper, Jumpy, usually he would go to her cottage every morning to eat her plants. It was unusual for him to not come. She did not know, that a deadly predator, even deadlier than the Usra's, rose to power. Jumpy fell prey to the queen of the army of killing machines.
Fluttershy head straight to Twilight Sparkle's house, she screamed, "TWILIGHT! I NEED HELP!". Twilight Sparkle ran down, startled by Fluttershy's scream. She slowly whispered, "Yes Fluttershy?" Fluttershy was in tears about the thought of what she believed to be Jumpy's death.
"My...my pet grasshopper Jumpy," she muttered "I believe he got, killed." Fluttershy bursted to tears when she said that, Twilight felt sorry for her friends lost, "Whatever the creature is, we will try to question why it killed your pet." She pointed out, "I do believe it is a spider though."
Twilight Sparkle was wrong about her statement.
//In the queen's nest.
The queen looked at several hundreds workers returning with loot, they brought her and her thousands of larvae lots, and lots of prey. There were many food in the menu: flies, crickets, other ants, termites, even a newborn manticore(They believe it was a oversized winged scorpion). It was a bit fast for her empire to grow that fast, her mothers nest grew two times slower. The queen believed that it was because there was no other rivals in this forest, or is it because there was too many food?  Either was correct. Thirty soldiers returned with a spider in their jaws. It was like the insects wanted to be eaten.
