The Show Ends with You
Twilight Sparkle. A typical antisocial. She didn't want others. She didn't need others. All she needed was a book.
But one day, Twilight woke up on a crowded street in Canterlot with a pack on her back, a phone watch strapped on her foreleg, and a complete lack of knowledge as to how she got there. She soon finds that she is trapped in the game, where she must find a way to work with other ponies or be erased by the deadly Changelings.
For those not in the know, this is a crossover fic based on the cult hit "The World Ends with You". No, I don't know how the hell I came up with this, other than that I've been playing way too much TWEWY lately for my personal health. I guess my typical list of others who inspired me doesn't really apply here, as they inspired a completely different genre of writing, so the honor this time goes to the fantastic Green Akers and his incredible Mortal Kombat: Equestria, both for inspiration and prereading.
Also, an important note. This doesn't just take place in a universe where history went down a different path. In this version of Equestria, everything you know about everything-including character names, pony anatomy, gods-EVERYTHING- is changed. You will see almost nothing consistent with the show, so don't even try to keep tabs.
Additionally, in the scenes that are completely italicized, there will (usually) be no speaker tags and thoughts will be surrounded by a single quotation, rather than removing the italics.
EDIT: This is now more than just an MLP/TWEWY crossover fic. Now, it's the connecting point for any OCs that you would like to enter. Go here to enter your own. Yes, I know how bucking ambitious the idea is, but as a character in the game itself said, we must try new things to expand our world.
Another note: The category this is under for Struggling Authors, Novel, indicates that it is 50000+ words long. While it is not that length yet, it is presumed to end up at that length by its conclusion.
