Golden Oaks Library, Ponyville, Equestria. It's been a while, huh? The sky is a lot darker now, mom says it's because it's winter. I have a bad feeling though. There is some kind of cold going around, everyone is getting it, humans and ponies alike. I'm fine though, and so is my sister. We've never really been the kind of people to get sick easily though. Some...scary things have been happening though. Last night there was a human outside the window...just staring. I didn't let him know I could see him so he just stayed there. After what felt like an hour, he just...not walk, but not a limp, I think the word is shamble? Anyways, Ms. Pie has been stocking up literal tons of weird things in the basement, not really out of the ordinary though. She's always making weird, bulk purchases. She said a big storm is coming, which, admittedly, I don't doubt. She's always right. Dad is a little sick though. No one was really hurt though. One was a pony! The pony, a mare, was missing a hoof and the human male was missing a big piece of his chest! I saw Jill again, she said the same thing was happening in some places back on Earth. I've even heard a rumor about some a human who killed a pony by...ripping its chest open. This is scary. Ms. Pie said that we just need to laugh at our fears. If we just need to laugh at them, than why have I seen a P-model handgun in the basement? Page 29-33Pages 29-33 are very violently ripped out. Maybe in hopes to hide something. Page 34July 13th, 2013. Caravan, Route 145, Equestria. We had to leave. None of us felt safe. Ms. Pie stayed behind but gave us a very generous amount of food and drink. Dad...he's gone. It's just me, mom, and my sister. I'm really sore lately, I think it's just growing pains. Of course, it could be because I've been the one pulling the cart haha. Luckily we haven't ran into any of the monsters. Page 26-27June 20th, 2013. Sugarcube corner, Ponyville, Equestria. Page 26 is nothing but a black drawing of two red circles and a jagged smile with the artist's name smudged on the bottom right corner. Page 27 June 22nd, 2013. Sugarcube corner, Ponyville, Equestria. There was a fight last night. One of the humans hit Big Macintosh and got bucked in the jaw, which came completely off. I used some favors to get some inside information on the human's condition. Doctors have said, both human and pony doctors, that what the man had was an advanced form of "Necrosis" and "Leprosy", both being human born diseases. That's just what the human doctors could identify, the pony doctors found their own diseases. The human had "Fryout", where the mind is burnt out mentally by excess magic use, "Diyum", causes violent episodes, and "Trallion", a very mutable and unstable disease that is unexplainable by modern sciences. The symptoms are random and the very diagnoses is basically a cover-all name. I was told the mixing of these five diseases caused the victim to become brain-dead and incredibly violent. They said Big Mac was lucky he didn't get cut or he could have gotten very sick. I'm not one for paranoia, but I'm going to be looking over my shoulder for a while. Page 1Monday 27th, 2013. Sugarcube Corner, Ponyville, Equestria. Two weeks ago today the holes were found, they lead to Earth. Supposedly naturally forming and very stable bridges basically. I figured, why not record what happens? Couldn't hurt, right? I'm a bit skeptical of the Humans, their machines are kind of scary and they're a lot stronger than they look. The first one I saw was in the hospital from a Manticore bite, fatal to ponies but I see him walking around without a care in the world! He killed it, too. He had this metal thing, shaped like an 'L', that he said could stop just about anything. I think it's magic, honestly. I've heard that some ponies have gotten to see a human's home before! That they've gone through a Hole! I think it would be neat, to see one of their homes. Page 2-3Tuesday, May 28th 2013. Sugarcube Corner, Ponyville, Equestria I got to talk to a human today! She was a really nice lady, she is a pharmacist back on Earth, her name is Jill. I asked her what Earth was like, you know, is it like it is here? She spoke of gigantic 30+ story buildings they called "Skyscrapers" and the "internet" which is kind of like the post-office except you can find almost anything you want instantly with a push of a button. Apparently there are a lot of controversies about a lot of topics back on Earth, too. Things like religion, politics, laws, stuff like that. I asked her if all humans are as nice as her, she said "Unfortunately, no" and then told me about war and other crimes. Our talk got cut short by her getting a "phone call" and having to go back home. End of page Wednesday, May 29th 2013. Sugarcube Corner, Ponyville, Equestria. Cheerilee had a science, history, and health teacher from Earth come and teach us about some things that are taught in human schools. The health teacher taught us about anatomy and some diseases that humans get, the history teacher taught about, well, history, and the science teacher taught us about DNA and some chemistry that scientists deal with. It was all very interesting
