Zecora's Hidden Abilities
The world has in a Nightmare. A very chaotic one. Everyone in Equestria was thinking this was just a Nightmare that everyone is under and that there is no such thing as Paradox. No. It was more real than anyone could imagine. It was true, Nightmare Moon had corrupted Luna once and for all as Celestia's opposing goddess.She even reveals her goals to every living creature here. Her only goal is stealing away the Crystals of Harmony and revert them into the Chaos Crystals. That's all there was to it. She explained nothing more or less. Now the world is in depression of only one bad former princess possessed by Darkness.
" How much longer? I'm getting tired." Trixie's voice whined. She was wearing a black cloak, the same one when she used to have the Alicorn Amulet. She had her arms folded while walking behind a teenage boy. They were walking in the Everfree Forest, one of the less common places of monsters since there was no life to prey on, at least what Nightmare Moon thought. The boy sighed as he stopped for a moment. He had a very serious expression on his face and looked at Trixie with his night blue eyes. He his dark blue hair was short and spiky passing his neck, he wore a blue and dark blue long sleeve shirt with his pants and shoes the same color. Around his neck was a silver necklace given to him by a certain friend of his before splitting it up. Although the chain was silver it had a purple star on it with silver pointed areas in the space.
" We'll get there when we get there Trixie. There is no rest, even here. It's true that it's rare of monsters being here, but you may never know." He told her.
Trixie sighed as they continued walking deeper and deeper into the forest while everything was quiet except for feet touching the grass. " Max. Everyone is always saying you always had a cheerful expression even in a fight with the whole Keyblade thing. Now that this has happened you lost joy. You are still the Element of Courage right? You and Twilight I mean?" Trixie asked. Max looked back at her and smiled which made Trixie sigh in relief at seeing that. " I guess he isn't all monotone after all." She thought. After a lot more walking which was torture to the magician, she was close to giving up till finally noticing they were at they're destination. Zecora's Hut. " Um, sorry if this is a stupid question, but why are we at Zecora's if we need to find these Crystals?" She asked.
" Because, I asked Zecora to make us some items so that way sneaking past these things will be easier...if she's even here." Max replied. Trixie raised an eyebrow not believing Zecora could make something like that, but she'll believe it when she sees it.
Max knocked on the door and waited for answer. None. He tried again only getting the same result. " Weird. No way Zecora could leave out in the middle of Chaos. Nightmare Moon better not have gotten her first." Max growled.
"Okay so she's not here. I think we should just leave at that and-"
ROOOOOOAAAAR!!!!
Max and Trixie froze at hearing that loud roar. They looked around only seeing nothing suspicious. " That was definitely a Bahamut." Max noted. " Keep your guard up. It might of attacked Zecora." Max told her firmly.
Taking careful steps they walked away from the hut and no longer hearing the roar. This was good to Trixie, but it was surprising to Max. Either it left with it's kill or something killed it. He'd be shocked if it was Zecora who defeated it.
He attempted calling her name a few times and thankfully there was an answer. " Over here!" A female voice with an accent replied to his shouts. He followed the voice with Trixie who was in fright for coming any closer. He noticed and decided to boost her confidence. " Whatever happened to the Great and Powerful persona, huh?" He asked. Hearing that costed him to listen to her blabbering about how strong she was even without a little amulet. However just in time for her to shut up he saw the zebra woman in a brown cloak with a massive dragon like monster on the ground. " A tough one, but nothing I couldn't handle." Zecora assured them. Max was indeed shocked at seeing the mysterious woman sitting in front of a Bahamut corpse. " Is she really this powerful? The X-blade incident she hardly did anything." Max thought.
" Well. You seem like you've a ghost. I have your equipment in my hut. Sorry it was locked, special purpose even in a forest." She said as she stood up and walked past the two back to where her hut was located. Trixie happily followed while Max was still in wonder of what power Zecora possessed. He followed behind and Zecora politely offered them drinks as they got in. While Zecora was getting the items Trixie whispered to him not to drink her liquid since it'll always have an effect at the end. Max however took the risk of not listening and took a sip. No effect. " YOUR HUMAN! THAT'S WHY!" Trixie yelled.
" Guess it does feel go to be human after all." Max grinned. Trixie snorted as Zecora came back with a bag of items in her hand.
" These are basically all potions. Use them wisely or take small amounts. I labelled them so you wouldn't get confused. Than again the Great and powerful should have healing abilities, right?" She asked the magician. Trixie shook her head in sadness of not knowing something as simple as healing. If Twilight could do it, so could she.
" Alright Zecora. Mind if I ask you something?" Max asked.
" Why of course."
Max took a deep breath before getting ready to say what he wanted. " Ever since the whole X-blade incident I noticed you've barely done any fighting before recently. Mind telling me what you can do?" He asked. Zecora smiled at the boy's assertiveness but had an idea.
" How about I show you instead of telling you?" She offered.
Max had a look of determination on his face as he happily accepted. Zecora stood up and walked out the door telling the duo to follow her. After a small walk ( Trixie was tired of the constant walking) Max stood a distance away from Zecora who seemed to be grinning like she already would of won. " Alright child. I'll show you a small demonstration in combat if you can even take it." She provoked. Max held his hand out and in his hand from a shining light was a large sword the size as himself and it had a stylish texture to it as the blade was white with a red line running through. " Show me than." He challenged.
Soundtrack: Final Fantasy 13-2 Clash at the Big Bridge
First thing Max didn't want to do was run carelessly since she could know magic. He stuck his blade in the ground and had fire surrounding his hand. " Firaga." He threw a fireball at the black and white striped woman and it connected making a large explosion of fire which shocked Trixie. As the smoke cleared at where it hit, Max was shocked to see Zecora only had her hand out with a small barrier covering the front.
" Minor Guard. It'll even withstand a level three element spell from you. Apparently Twilight's magic is the only kind that could penetrate it. So your only option in matter is straightforward assault." Zecora explained. Max wanted to continue testing and this time had his hand up in the air.
" Thundara." He muttered. A large streak of multiple lightning bolts struck Zecora only she had a full barrier now.
" Major Guard. Like the minor only it'll cover me entirely. Just come up and attack. I wouldn't do anything to kill you." Zecora assured him. Max sighed as he realized he had no choice and she was right. He pulled his blade out of the ground and ran at her with a one handed swing. His sword broke threw the barrier which forced the mysterious woman to back away.
"Enough Defensive. Now for offensive." Zecora told him. With a light blow a small fireball came out her mouth towards Max who had the idea of what this was and dodged it. After this he witnessed a large explosion in the woods burning away a ton of trees.
" Was that a Megaflare?" He asked with a slight shock. Zecora nodded. " You could call it that, but I won't bore you with details of its history you should understand." She said. She was about to do another attack until suddenly a loud roar filled the air. Zecora's expression was now shocked at this. " No, I thought I took them all down." She cursed herself for a mistake.
Suddenly from in front of them was another one of the dragon like creatures that took form of a ship. " So one more huh? Guess this gives us a better demonstration." Max told Zecora. She nodded as she got ready just as the Bahamut changed into more bipedal form.

Trixie ran up in the mix of her first fight against a Bahamut. It swiped it claws trying to rip it's preys in one hit, but Zecora's barrier erected and surrounded all of them and bounced back it's large hands. This opportunity gave Max a chance to jump up and attempt to slay it only for it's other hand to slap him away into a tree. Than it spew out a fireball towards him which he was able to block with his sword stuck in the ground. " Alright, no holding back." Zecora said as she folded her arms. Max, Trixie. Get beside me and stay close to me." She commanded. Trixie was already close but it was Max who was already at a far distance.
" Max! You can trust me i would never let it hurt you." She yelled to him. Max pulled his sword out the ground and muttered, " I never doubted you." He ran as the Bahamut shot blue orbs from it's hand and made small explosions and blue smoke. However he still overcame it and now knelt beside Zecora was she was now ready. " Whatever you do, don't run." She told them. This already made Trixie nervous since she didn't want to trust her. Suddenly all the trees surrounding them began to close in on them.
" Zecora what are you doing? You'll kill us-" Zecora cut Max off.
" Shut up. It never failed." She assured.
The trees moved in closer and closer which nearly sealed them, mostly the Bahamut since it was nearing to get crushed.
" Prepare yourselves." She said as the trees now closed in at fast speed.
" Illusive!" Zecora shouted at the last second before getting squeezed. When Max's vision was back to normal he noticed Trixie still on the ground with dizziness in her eyes while Zecora was sitting on the Bahamut's corpse which was much thinner. He lifted himself off the ground as his sword vanished in a light.
" Okay, why aren't we dead Zecora? What technique was that?" He asked her. Zecora smiled as she jumped off the Bahamut corpse and lifted the sleeve of her cloak. Max was surprised at seeing a sight he never expected to see ever in his life. On her arm was a purple eye with the pupil the shape of wolf and a green eye with a pupil the shape of a wind sigil. He blinked and wiped his eyes with his sleeve only to still see it in view. Zecora grinned at that reaction.
" How? Only on my world we have the Eye of the Wolf and Eye of the Monsoon. How did you get it in Equestria?" He asked.
" Where do you think Equestrians are from?" She asked, changing the subject. Max didn't have an answer till Zecora's features gave him the answer.
" Your Earthly animals. Enchanted by the magic from Fal'Cie. right?" He guessed which made Zecora shake her head in response to that.
" We are enchanted, but not by this Fal'Cie you speak of. Were all enchanted by a god that even surpassed Celestia and Luna combined, can you guess? Surely in your world you should know since everyone should of known." She asked. This got him in a thoughtful stance which really made Zecora get ready to face palm. After minutes of thinking Zecora finally decided on giving an answer.
" Etro." She told him in a irritated tone. That obvious answer made Max slap his forehead and curse himself.
" Wait, so Equestrians are Anatolian and Earth animals. For once...I'm vacant." Max replied with sigh. Zecora shook her head again.
" We are Earth Animals. That's all you need to know, okay?" Max nodded and began to hear Trixie groaning. He walked over to her as her vision was becoming clear. First thing she saw was Max's face making her jerk her head up causing to bump each other's head. Now both of them were holding their head and groaning. " I'm a bit shocked Celestia relies you and the others to find these crystals. If I remember correctly, Trixie isn't even an element." Zecora pointed out. Trixie suddenly sprouted up despite the pain in her head just to say one FYI to her.
" I actually am. It may not have a crystal form, but Celestia named me the Element of Leadership!" She said proudly. Zecora looked at Max and by her quizzical look she was asking him if this was true. Max nodded. Zecora wasn't sure to be either happy, worried about Trixie because of what her destiny is now, or sad for that she was still too young for this. Well she couldn't say young since she was only a year younger than Twilight.
" Well congratulations on your err, biggest success." Zecora praised with a small smile. Trixie chuckled which meant for everyone " Trixie's Boasting time" which was thankfully interrupted when Max reminded Trixie of their goal.
" Oh yeah. Story time from the Great and Powerful shall come later." She said as she began following Max away from the woods. After a while of walking and finally away from Everfree Forest and not finding any crystal there, Trixie looked like she'd just realized something. " Hold on. I just remembered Zecora had those eyes on her arm before we left. Those are evil." Trixie said with panic in her voice.
" It's only evil if the user uses it for evil. It doesn't corrupt you like the Alicorn Amulet. I even find it weird that you gained them from putting it on. It was funny though when you weren't experienced with those eyes though." Max said with a grin.
" How is seeing someone's eye bleed funny to you?" Trixie asked which completely made him froze.
" Uh, forget I said that and instead said I was thinking about considering to use two blades instead of one just like old times." He rephrased. " Maybe I will. I miss my Keyblades. Now we have this to take care of. I hope collecting the crystals and uses it against Luna will bring her back. Twilight said it worked last time." Max said. Trixie was silent as they were now where they least expected, the monster infested Ponyville. " Why?" Trixie asked. Max was about to shrug until he saw three other figures who sneaked past two wolf like monsters. " Seems like we aren't alone in this dead valley." Max told her.
" Yeah but we have company." Trixie said as she pointed to the two silver wolves who were nearing them. Max scoffed as his sword appeared in his hand as Trixie's hands were clouded in different elements, one was fire as the other was lightning. " So who will kill who?" Trixie asked.
" Just as long you get the job done." Max replied as he ran at one of them and swung his sword down, the wolf did a back flip to evade. The other wolf ran towards Trixie, but it's tracks were stopped when a pillar of fire surrounded it and burned it from inside till it vanished. " Easy as pie." She groaned in dismay. " GIVE ME A BIGGER CHALLENGE!!!" She yelled right when Max killed the other wolf. A loud roar was heard and crashing through a bakery was a larger monster with heavy armor and a large blade stuck on it's back.
" You just had to say that!" Max shouted.
" Shut up!" Trixie countered while getting her spell ready for another monster. " Here!" A barrage of lightning bolts struck down along with her hand movement, but barely any damage was done. " Uh, this might be a problem." She said nervously. The Behemoth charged at the magician who closed her eyes just bracing for impact until she opened her eyes seeing Max send the behemoth flying back away from them. " Honestly, you must always be vigilant and never give up, Trixie. How do you expect to be like Twilight if you can't do that. Sure you have magic, but-" Max paused and remembered the three figures. " Wait, I thin i found some survivors. If it's the crusaders than-" Trixie cut him off to say the Behemoth was back. He wasn't even quick enough to react, but suddenly the attack was stopped when glowing silver gems entombed it and rapidly cutting the Behemoth. " What happen?" Trixie asked.
" It's the Crusaders." Max replied with a smile on his face. The smile really did surprise Trixie since she couldn't remember since he had around her and Mane 6. However her attention was back towards the Behemoth. " Trixie above!" Max warned pointing up towards a orange winged Equestrian girl with a weapon in her hand ready to slice. Trixie was barely able to make a barrier when the figure landed and made a giant collusion against the monster, killing it and gems shattering everywhere. The Behemoth began to vanish into a dark mist as the figure stood up and placed her 'sword' on her shoulder.
" Scootaloo." Max was a bit more happy than ever seeing her , then beside her was Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. All of them were wearing a school uniform of the same color, blue and white. Scootaloo's sword had the resemblance of her wing as the hilt had a gold complex guard around it. " Were Crystal Crusaders now. We're gonna help in any way to save Equestria." Scootaloo vowed with a grin which highly reminded Max of Rainbow Dash.
" All I have to say is don't scare us like last time. Rainbow Dash really considers you a sister since she doesn't have one. Not that I know of." Max told her. Scootaloo nodded and looked at Trixie who was staring harshly at her weapon.
" What's with her?" Scootaloo asked.
" Oh nothing. Never shuts up, but I'll live." Max answered. Trixie growled as electricity built in her hands and tried to slap Max only for him to step back making her stagger at her miss. " Not to mention she can barely keep her Great and Powerful title." He added. Trixie glared at him, but all her did was shrug. " You boasted, not me." He told her.
" Anyway, why are you here?" Max asked. That question made Scootaloo's face turn blank since she probably forgot what she wanted to say. Luckily, Sweetie Belle covered for her.
" There is more to Nightmare Moon's plans then just collecting these crystals. Celestia told us that these crystals are found by Nightmare Moon, she could be able to control that element's spirit." She explained.
" What do you mean?" Trixie asked which earned her a groan from everyone. " What?" With that put aside Max told her.
" Basically, if Nightmare gets a crystal that represents our element she could manipulate it making us get on her side. Of course. If she were smart. She'd go for courage." Max said. The thought of that element be in her grasp scared him. Since there was not only one person representing that element. Him and Twilight shared it half and half. However he did remember it was originally only his till he made a choice to share it when the alicorn was in danger. Speaking of alicorn, he never got the chance to see her in her actual alicorn state, but instead a vicious dark alicorn. He shook away the thought as suddenly a strong wind erupted around all of them. The wind suddenly became like a tornado with them slowly floating up.
" What's happening?" Scootaloo asked looking at Max who was suddenly on the verge of crashing into her if she hadn't moved. She grabbed his wrist to stop him. Trixie was trying to make a teleportation spell of them till she noticed a fireball coming towards the tornado. There wasn't enough time as the fireball got mixed up with the strong winds making it a wind of fire slowly cooking everyone. However, everything turned black for everyone and the next thing they all knew was being surrounded by darkness and all being faced by a cloaked figure with glowing red eyes and it's skin a barely noticeable gray and had a large silver fan with a chain attacked to the hilt which followed to the sleeve.
Max's Perspective
" And you are?" Max asked as two blades appeared in his hand which surprised him. One was was yellow and red sword shaped of a flame with two edges.
Basically i mean Noel Kriess's sword on Final fantasy 13-2 if you know how it looks.
He didn't let it get in his head though. He looked back at the figure and noticed the figure having a silver fan on it's back with a black chain coming from the hilt beneath the bottom of it's cloak. " Someone you should already know. Now I'm not even a memory to you or anyone. That's besides the point though. If you don't figure out where these crystals are before Nightmare does. Your gonna become tools against Celestia. And like all pawns, she will just kill you and it's a good riddance in her memory. But, she won't be alone in the search. She has other Equestrians as her playthings and I don't think your ready to face them yet." The figure said. It's voice was feminine, almost like a little girl, but judging by height and how large the fan on her back was, he was thinking a teen at best.

Chains began to drop from the figure's sleeves and dropped onto the red round platform they were on. " Now, Your trial of combat starts...NOW!" Her voice suddenly changed from a little girl to a crazy like voice from a girl as she lounged towards Max with the chains flowing behind her. He tried to moved out the way by rolling, but the chains still caught him and restrained him. Holding his arms in place at a tight embrace, Max was vulnerable for anything. " Does the motto: Claws are tearing, Chains are for restraining and Red eyes are for intimidating, sound familiar?" She asked as she turned around with the chains still coming from where her sleeve was. Max gasped at this and suddenly growled. " So you. The little demon in the X-blade incident?" Max asked with rage in his eyes. The figure seemed to notice this which made her tilt her head.
" I'm coming through already? Huh, so you aren't so clueless after all. Well I have a name, got it in that head of yours?" She asked. Max was thinking which was what she wanted giving her an opportunity to pull her chains along with Max and pulling out her fan, swinging it as soon as she did making a small tornado trapping Max inside and releasing him from the chains.
" You fell for it. How do you expect to beat anyone with such and obvious distraction, especially since you were tied up." She said trying to hold back a laugh. The tornado vanished and Max was now staggering and trying to regain his balance.
" H-how...t-the heck did you...get her...Mero?" He said with a bit of a slur in his voice. The figure had grin from underneath the hood of her cloak.
" Meroshia, got it memorized now? None of your business how now stand up and fight." Meroshia demanded. Her eyes suddenly widened as Max was already face to face with her with his dagger at her stomach. The red eyed female smirked and suddenly vanished on the spot. Max looked around, not seeing her in sight till reflexes told him to block from behind him and he did with his sword. He turned his head and at the corner of his eye he could see Meroshia trying to impale him with her bare hand. That wasn't all, Max noticed her fan was gone now. " The fan makes me go slower so to make it harder I'll just take it away if you don't mind." She told him. Meroshia vanished again making Max keep his guard up again. She could come from anywhere with speed like her's.
" It's over!" He heard her voice from above and with little time to react Meroshia grabbed the back of his head and slammed him face first into the ground suddenly causing the platform to collapse and shatter into pieces. Meroshia and Max were now flying in total darkness as their fight continued with Max holding his face, but one eye looking at her.
" I had my guard down a bit. Sorry, but I'm ending this quick and finding Twilight if you don't mind." Max said. He removed his hand from his face and regained grasped with his dagger. Meroshia smiled widely and snapped her fingers making Max's weapons glow. He looked at them with surprise at what form his weapons were now. In his left hand was an electric blue sword with the blade taking shape of a lightning bolt and around the hilt of his sword was a very complex guard which looked as if his hand would never be cut. In his other hand was a red and orange sword also consisting with a complex guard, along the tip of the blade was a fiery sigil sticking out like a blade.
" Recognize them? Good. Now that you have your little friends," Meroshia paused as she closed her right eye. Max was fully alert and ready for what his red eyed menace was ready to do. " I'll have to pull out my ace up my sleeve. Not a common power you find in this world. Something not any human or Equestrian would achieve." Meroshia opened her eye revealing it to be purple and the pupil taking shape of a wolf and at the corner was three stars. Max's eyes widened at seeing what Zecora just showed him, but he also had a feeling it was worse than he'd ever expected.
" Wolf of the Night. It's nothing like the Eye of the Wolf. Then again I'm not experienced with it so you should know my consequence if I use it for too long." She spoke. " No? Well brief example." Max looked at her confusingly till he suddenly noticed purple flames erupt from below him making his scream at the burning he was feeling. Water surrounded one of his hands as he jumped jumped from the flames and shot a tsunami of water at the fire. But for some reason it was enough and the flames were even drying up the water from inside. It was gaining inches towards his leg till suddenly he heard a wince. He looked at Meroshia seeing that she was holding her right eye and blood was coming out from the bottom of it.
" Now...you know." She told him. The flames distinguished. Max aimed his lightning sword at Meroshia from afar as electricity surged from around it. He held it up and to Meroshia's liking, the darkness around them began to dissipate. They were now in the streets of Ponyville once again only in the middle of a thunderstorm.
" I know what you've tried to do Mero. But I have no time to play your little games. Help us with the crystals if you want. Now begone." He stuck his sword in the ground and before Meroshia knew it all she did was smile proudly yet had a slight evil look in her eyes before electricity erupted from below her. Max pulled his blade out and it vanished along with his other sword as it did also ending the thunder strike. Meroshia was gone, but Max already knew she was quick enough for a teleportation spell or something like it.
" Hmm. I understand you have a job to finish, but you have plenty of time before Nightmare corrupts you. Just enjoy your final days with Mane Six, Spike, and all others. Maybe then we'd unite."
Those words played in his head and echoed at the end, but Max had better things to do. Trixie was gone which made him curse her for being so slow in fighting. However there was a possibility she was transported elsewhere.
" If we split then we cover more ground which is good." He thought. He walked to a random direction as he continued anywhere for any sign of the world's hope.

Max found himself completely lost and what's worse is that Ponyville is mostly monster infested along with Canterlot. Now basically he was boxed in since those were the only places besides Everfree Forest he could look to find anyone. Meroshia did say that he still had plenty of time before Nightmare Moon ended it. However he knew the red eyed figure like a book. She only says things in negative tones to make people lose hope. Only Max knew this, by now if Meroshia spoke with Mane Six, everyone with Twilight even included would believe her. It's just her eyes. Max took note to tell them this if they ever meet. The broken and destroyed Ponyville seemed quiet which made him take pity for the unpleasant atmosphere.
" Why am I still here? I've help them four years in the past. We stopped the previous future you were talking about. Why are you here now?" Max thought as Meroshia was still in his mind. " What is your true nature?"
His thoughts were interrupted when a loud childish scream filled the air. He rushed off as if he was Rainbow Dash attempting a Sonic Rainboom and with luck quickly found the source of the screaming. However the streets he was in was empty, all except for a large armored being with a golden staff in it's grasp. It noticed Max and began walking towards him while questioning him.
" Where are you hiding her?" He asked. Max looked at him confusingly which seemed to anger him. " Don't play stupid. Where is the little demon?" He asked again with more authority. Max was sensing a fight from this knight or whatever he was. His fire and lightning blades appeared behind him just in case.
" Guess I'm forcing it out of you!" He shouted as he dashed at Max only for the teenage human to use his fiery weapon to block.
" I don't know what your talking about. Begone." He said sternly, placing his hand on the armored man's abdomen. Before anything else was said a beam of fire penetrated through and punctured him through his stomach killing him instantly. His swords vanished and he sighed in irritation while placing his hands on his hip. " If this is suppose to Nightmare's army she's dumber than she looks." He said aloud. He scratched his head while looking around the deserted area again.
" Whatever he was looking for. She must be g-," He suddenly felt a tug on his thigh making him look down. It was little black skinned Equestrian girl with blue hair running down to her back, green eyes and-wait!
Max's eyes widened at seeing who this little 'filly' resembled or looked at like. A younger version of the changeling queen, Chrysalis. Her only source of clothing was a light blue torn cloth around her body tied quite tightly. Despite her past history, Max was seeing something irresistible and adorable. " Uh, don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt ya. I can take you with me where you aren't all alone." He told her. Suddenly something else clicked in his mind. Why the heck was Chrysalis was child? He remembered she is a shape-shiftier which made him alert while still offering.
" Wait. I don't think anyone can shape-shift into themselves. Right?" He thought while picking up the young changeling. He could see how scared she was looking so he tried to comfort her by holding her like a baby. It sort of helped, she wasn't looking at him with fear at least, a bit of relief. Now he just had to take her somewhere safe, which is pretty much nowhere at this moment.
" Um, t-thank you for saving m-me." Chrysalis praised in a soft tone. Max smiled and slightly blushed at just seeing how adorable she looked. Perhaps once this is over, he would be able to see tons more than this wasted town.
" Your welcome. I don't know any safe place at this point, but I will find you a place to rest." He assured. Chrysalis's face suddenly turned into a serious expression as she hopped from Max's arms and stood tall ( for her height she was only at Max's thigh) and looked up at him.
" Now hold on. I may look weak, but even I hold magic." She told him. Max admired the former queen's determination. What ever happened to her, it must of been a gift for the element while it seemed like a curse for the queen. He knelt down to look her face to face and asked, what kind of magic she had.
" Oh the basics. From elements to virus. I only know how to make them slower and expose their weakness. I hope it makes your battles...amusing." She said with a grin on her face. Max did find it useful, but hearing the way she spoke from a scared girl to a very intimidating one, but she wasn't worse than Trixie or Twilight.
" If you knew magic, why were you hiding from that armored guy?" He asked.
" His armor, he said magic won't work on his kind. I was helpless since I never wanted to learn how to use a weapon." She answered. " He also said Nightmare Moon sent the rest of her army to attack the world for a gem." She added.
" Gosh. I knew Nightmare wanted the Crystals of Harmony, but does she have to be hell-bent. Monsters are already enough." He thought. He stood up and looked up seeing it starting to turn day. " Well, I'm sure daytime is a start for them if their Equestrian." He told her. He held her hand and walked to any known direction for safety. Something was coming and Max felt it in him too. He was ready, but wasn't in the mood right now.

Nightmare Moon's Invasion
In a unknown location consisting of a small town similar to Ponyville, it was peaceful, bright and for once had a decent population of Equestrians. That was besides the point however. Walking in the middle of it all was purple anthropomorphic unicorn with long sapphire hair with purple and pink streaks and violet eyes. She was wearing a brown robe covering her attire to protect herself from the cold weather. Beside her was a purple dragon standing almost to her shoulder. Green spikes were on his head like a mohawk and went straight down to his tail. He was also wearing a brown robe due to the weather. Twilight and Spike were their names and they weren't looking for the crystals, not yet. They needed to find someone they'd least expect to want to see. It was only for one purpose and it's for Spike's sake. He had a darkness inside him ever since he was young. Mane Six and Max were the only ones who knew about this.
It happened periodically whenever either Spike has a great need for something or when he's angry when something doesn't go his way. Twilight could tell for certain this was far from being selfish and a spoiled brat. " Do you really think we can trust this girl? I mean last time she did attack Canterlot." Spike asked her. Twilight sighed. She didn't want to do this either since who knows what could happen.
" She did. But Meroshia proved us a point why she did. Those weren't Equestrians anymore. Remember? I'm not joining her side or anything, but it counts for something." She replied. It took them at least almost an hour to find the location they were suppose to meet the red eyed menace. A completely opened area of grass and plants. Felt like Earth Day ( in Max's case). They stood around looking at the beauty around them of nature's gift. At least what it could be like in Ponyville and Canterlot.
" Wow. So you actually trusted my words after all." A childish female voice was heard. Spike and Twilight stood at guard from where ever Meroshia might be. However she appeared behind them and stood in between them and smiled widely at both of them till they took notice of her making them jump back from her. It amused her seeing her prey fear her, but all of that could wait. Believe it or not she does keep her word.
" Alright. We're here. Now how are gonna help Spike? Magic? Potion?" Twilight guessed. Meroshia chuckled and looked down at the grass she was standing on right now.
" It's a process I always use for those with something dark in them." Meroshia closed her right eye and opened it revealing the Wolf of the Night eye. At sight Spike and Twilight suddenly felt the world around them turning completely different. The sky was red and there was a red red moon in the sky. This power was nothing Twilight knew of, how could she? Meroshia was from another world. " I force it out of them." Meroshia finished bringing them back to reality. They were hyperventilating at what they witness. They balanced out their breathing though and remained calm as they looked back at the red eyed girl.
" What do you mean by force?" Twilight asked. Time stopped for Meroshia as she turned towards the readers.
" Seriously? For a smart girl like Twilight she sure can act dumb. What other force does she think I mean? The one from Star Wars?" She told them.
Time resumed and Meroshia turned back to Twilight. " I mean just have him unleash it and I'll take care of the rest. I'd recommend going to a far distance for this Twilight. I know your enjoying the sights of this tras- I mean nature, but this was the only place non populated for monsters or civilians. Unless the mood for destruction is upon you." She explained. Twilight looked at Spike who seemed to look determined for this. She looked back at Meroshia and stepped back to a safe distance from Spike.
" Now. Greed is what makes you tick huh? Well guess what I have." A red gem came out of Meroshia's sleeve and into her hand as she held it out. " Want it? Or need it?"
She took notice that Spike had a tempted look on his face to get the gem which meant it was working. Spike charged at her and reached out for the gem only for the red eyed girl to jump and land on his head with one foot and use her other to kick him towards his face sending him flying back and her landing a back flip.
" SPIKE!" Twilight screamed. Meroshia glared at her and used her Wolf of the Night eye again which began making her more silent.
" I won't hurt him as bad as I usually do." She assured while releasing her from the nightmare. She looked at Spike slowly standing up, but she felt a difference in him now. The purple dragon turned towards her and she was right by his appearance physically. The right side on his face was black and his eyes turned from green to yellow with red lines as pupils. His spikes were now orange and his right arm had a shadowy aura around it.

" Now it starts. Spike will be free once this is over." Meroshia told her. With that said black chains came out her sleeves and behind her as she ran at Spike with all her speed almost too much for Rainbow Dash to beat. She was too fast that she was able to look as if she went through Spike as he chains restrained his arms. " Gotcha." She yanked her chains back reeling Spike into a high roundhouse kick. The force sent him flying back till the chains reached its limit stopping him from sliding on the grass. She didn't stop, she reeled him again and this time before he came to the distance began to spew purple flames from her mouth. But Spike countered it with his own green flames making her attack futile and her getting ready to have her face burned off. She stopped this by falling back into the grass and letting Spike get right above her for her to kick her feet up planting it onto his chest sending him in the air.
" Down you go!" She pulled her chains down along with Spike being slammed face down into the hard ground. " This should be easy if he can't even escape my chains." She taunted. Her cockiness cursed her as a large black arm suddenly grabbed her and lifted her up.
" Now this is a familiar power." She thought as she saw and counted 12 illusive arms coming from Spike's back. Another arm came at her and gripped her chains. " Oh, the things I could do with those arms." She said with a slight blush on her face. Before the arm could yank her she suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind Spike. Due to this Spike was free from the chains making the arms vanish. The red eyed menace took advantage of this and swept her leg from below, tripping Spike and stomping him to the ground while he was still above the ground. Meroshia took this moment to look at Twilight who was surprisingly quiet, but she saw the reason. She wasn't even looking.
" She's missing the good stuff." Meroshia thought. She looked down at Spike to see he was slowly gaining back his original form. " OH NO YOU DON'T!" She yelled as she drove her hand in Spike's chest. To his surprise he felt no pain and he didn't feel Meroshia's hand inside him. After mere seconds Meroshia pulled out a complete pitch black soul in her grasp and slammed in the ground and it began to sink in.
" BURN IN HELL!" She yelled as she saw the soul reaching out for the mortal world. It was over and quicker than she expected too. She took a deep breath looked back at the barely damaged environment around them. " It's usually messier."
" Alright, Twilight it's done. Spike turned out to be easy after all." She told the purple Equestrian. Twilight uncovered her eyes to see Spike standing tall and alright. She sighed in relief, but she stomped towards Meroshia and her hands surrounded by fire. She attempted to punch Meroshia but she teleported behind her and chuckled as she turned her head to see the surprised girl.
" For an Alicorn. Your so weak. Is Celestia like you? If that's true then Nightmare Moon must be joke as well." Meroshia turned her body to fully look at Twilight. " No. Maybe your just a disgrace for the Elements of Harmony. Maybe Rarity should have two elements besides you." She gave insults to Twilight here and there which really angered her a lot. Each one built up a flame which turned hotter after each insult. Finally she snapped.
" SHUT UP!!!!!" She yelled louder than the royal voice which even erupted a wave of magic around her sending Spike flying back and landing on the grass while Meroshia was sent back and her back hit a tree. Twilight began panting after all the power it took for that one blast which even got her assistant. Her head was pounding, but her sanity was brought back and she sighed. She walked to Spike and offered him a hand. He hesitated which made him get up on his own to her dismay. She might of scared him a bit too much.
" Not bad. Anger. One of the things that can get your friends hurt really bad. All I have to say now is be careful when Nightmare Moon uses it against you." Meroshia warned her before standing up and vanishing. Twilight looked at the purple dragon again who was looking pretty scared to even turn to her. She decided to change that by hugging him. Spike couldn't tell if it was either body temperature or the robe that made him warm. Either way it helped him not be afraid anymore.
" Now let's go." She said with a smile as they began to walk out and back into the town.
Normally this is the part where I end the chapter, but since I want to make this as good as I possibly can and I have more views on this than I expected, I'm moving on to the other parts of the Mane Six.
" Ugh! This is really becoming a pain in my flank." Rainbow Dash groaned. Her, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie were on the hazardous Canterlot. Completely monster infested and not safe even for a fly. They were stuck inside a house belonging to Twilight since she was gonna be named a Princess soon. Rainbow Dash was leaning against a wall with her arms folded and looking down in thought. She looked at herself through a mirror to look at her clothing. She was wearing a blue jacket worn over a black tank top along with black pants. She also wore white fingerless gloves with her cutie mark symbol on the back. She looked over to Fluttershy who was looking down nervously while Pinkie Pie was trying to cheer her up. Fluttershy wore a green turtle neck and brown pants. Over the past four years Fluttershy's hair was no longer straight, instead it was tied with a green ribbon which made both her ears exposed. Pinkie Pie wore a pink tank top with a design of three balloons and blue shorts. Along with that were white and blue fingerless gloves on her hand.
" Nightmare Moon said she'd change the Crystals of Harmony into the Chaos Crystals. I wonder what it would give her?" Rainbow Dash thought aloud, not that her friends could hear her anyway. The past began to haunt her as she had no trust in Pinkie Pie at all. Not only that, she'd sometimes feel something wrong inside her...something dark. Ever since then she's very quiet around Pinkie Pie or keeps her distance from her.
" RAINBOW DASH!" Pinkie yelled her name cheerfully making her groan. She looked at her anyway and listened to what she had to say. " Where should we look next for the crystals we can't let Nightmare Moon get them first or else it's bad news-" Rainbow Dash cut off her rambling and spoke to her for once.
" It may not even be in Equestria. We can transport to different worlds now, remember?" Pinkie Pie opened her mouth to say something else, Rainbow Dash already answered. " Their called Chaos Crystals." Pinkie Pie nodded and walked back to Fluttershy who kept looking at the ground and uttered a name softly.
" Max." She said. " Please be alright." Rainbow Dash moved from the wall and looked out the window seeing that it was raining hard and monsters were walking around like guard dogs making sure nothing got in the way. She suddenly felt a heat in her stomach. Not the kind when you have feelings for someone, it felt more like a gut feeling to be precise. She continued looking out the window seeing Canterlot was actually barely damaged, but she suddenly saw a purple portal erect out of nowhere right in between a group of monsters.
This made her gasp and turned to her friends. " Hey girls we got a problem!" She told them. Despite the weather they all headed out ( with Fluttershy behind). They made sure to hide from the monsters while still seeing the portal. Fluttershy hyperventilated a few times almost making them get discovered if it weren't for Pinkie Pie cheering her up. Rainbow Dash peeked behind the wall they were hiding behind seeing that the portal vanished and standing in front of the monster which made the bipedal bow while the four legged bow in their own way. Nightmare Moon had shown herself, the cyan pegasus was quite surprise she's show herself already. Suddenly she noticed she made quick glance at her making the rainbow haired Equestrian gasp and suddenly move back against the wall. But it was too late, a light blue aura surrounded her and and levitated her from the ground and moved her towards the the Goddess of Darkness.
" Well, well. I'm not surprised that the Element of Loyalty is still alive and well." She spoke, her voice sounded doubled which also seemed intimidating even for Rainbow Dash. She couldn't move her body, she was completely open for anything and she had monsters behind her who were either growling or glaring at her.
" Just about to become the first victim of the invasion as well. Goodb-" The goddess was cut off when she she noticed a black and white orb shot towards her. She merely held her hand out thinking she would deflect it easily, but once it made contact with her arm it began to grow bigger and at the last second Pinkie Pie appeared out of nowhere and grabbed onto Rainbow Dash right when the orb exploded destroying the monsters. Pinkie Pie reappeared with Rainbow Dash who looked away from her, yet thanked her. Them and Fluttershy were now standing in front of the white cloud made from the explosion. They were unaware of several shadows escaping out of it from above the cloud.
The cloud vanished and Nightmare Moon wasn't damaged one bit probably thanks to the glowing armor on her body. She sneered at the three Elements and held her hand out. " Five minutes is all I need to beat the lot of you." She claimed. In her hand appeared a night blue double blades sword nearly longer than a katana. She held it at the ready as Rainbow Dash held her hand out as well. " Five minutes? For a Goddess you sure choose something very slow." In her hand was a sword with a blue guard around the hilt and a two blue thin blades and at the edge of the blades came a cloud with two rainbow colored lightning bolts beside it. " I say around two. Since your Celestia's sister." Rainbow Dash claimed. She looked back at Pinkie and Fluttershy and told them to cover her as she got ready to face Luna herself.
Dust an Elysian tail: Short Fuse
The cyan Pegasus spread her wings from beneath her jacket as she dashed at Nightmare Moon with all her speed. Before she even made a chance to strike Nightmare Moon teleported behind her with Rainbow Dash in shock that she got away pretty fast. However Fluttershy mustered up the strength to scream out to Rainbow Dash that she was behind her. Without looking Rainbow Dash moved her body out the way avoiding Nightmare Moon's sword from impaling her from behind her. The delay made Nightmare Moon give Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie a deathly glare. Rainbow Dash took this distraction to attack as she swung her weapon and on the verge of contact. However the Goddess of Darkness blocked the attempt and pushed the Pegasus back causing her to stagger back. Nightmare Moon swung her blade up which cut the Pegasus up her chest and sent her a few feet in the air. She was able to recover with her wings making her hover from the ground now. She immediately dove down towards her with a rainbow colored orb in her free hand and aiming it at Nightmare's abdomen. She was merely inches from getting her till something grabbed her jacket in midair. She turned around and surprised to see Nightmare Moon had made a clone of herself.
" One down." Nightmare Moon spoke as she held her blade ready to swing at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash didn't give up that easily though. The rainbow orb that was still in her hand expanded as she held it above her. She grinned.
" Not even close." She said. The orb exploded making rainbow streaks burst everywhere with all of them inside. Fluttershy found it hard to watch hoping Rainbow Dash was still alive. Pinkie Pie was no different as she had tears coming from her eyes. They were both snapped out of that expression when they felt someone touch their shoulders. " Why are you crying?" Rainbow Dash asked from behind them. Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy turned around with happiness in their eyes. " I think we're about done with this n-" A shadow lurked behind her which made Pinkie Pie cut her off to warn her. Thankfully, the cyan Pegasus was able to react fast enough to move her body aside as her weapon and a double bladed sword created sparks as they slide past each other. That wasn't all though, Nightmare Moon was behind Rainbow Dash and grabbed her by the hood of her jacket. A purple aura surrounded Rainbow Dash which made her levitate away from her grasp and left helpless.
" You've made a big mistake at facing me Element of Loyalty. Perhaps running like your friends would of sufficed and I might have made an exception for now." She said as she reeled her sword back for a killing blow.
" Not a wise choice Nightmare." A childish female voice told her. The Goddess turned to where the voice came from to see a figure with a brown cloak and red eyes glowing from it. Nightmare Moon dropped Rainbow Dash and turned her attention to the cloaked figure, Meroshia.
" You must not know who I am if you dare to tell me what to do without hesitation." She said with her voice sounding doubled now. Meroshia merely covered her right eye as she yawned at Nightmare Moon's poor attempt at intimidation for her.
" Yeah, yeah. I know. Nightmare Moon. Your the whole poor goddess and you plan on stealing these Crystals of Harmony. First thing I want to say is that you should really not let night happen for eternity. I've got a tan I need to make under this skin I have." Meroshia said in a mocking tone. Her attitude made Nightmare Moon growl in anger as a blue aura surrounded the cloaked red eyed girl and pulled her towards the Goddess in abnormal force.
" You'll regret the day you have disrespected your new known God!" She yelled. Meroshia opened her eye revealing her eye now being purple with the pupil the shape of a wolf with three stars above it.
" No. This is the day you get the taste of your own Nightmare." Meroshia countered with a grin of her own. Unfortunately for Rainbow Dash and her friends and mostly Nightmare Moon, they caught into an illusion. In Nightmare Moon's perspective she felt the world around her turn black for a brief moment only for it to turn into a fiery yellow-orange. She couldn't escape since she could have the strength to move her body and she realized, she was trapped inside of the Sun. She looked up and gasped as Celestia gave her a cold glare as her hand was open and was ready to close.
" NOOOOO!!!" She yelled as Celestia closed her hand allowing the intense heat to cause overkill on her, or what would of. In reality she was holding her head with her hands as she was on her knees trying to break free of the her own Nightmare. Luckily, the hold of the Nightmare was severed when two shadows appeared behind her which she sensed the instant she heard. She looked away from the fallen Goddess which gave her enough time to warp away from her. Her attention now was blocking a pair of talons with the chains she was holding in her hands. But Meroshia's chains shattered at contact forcing her to do a back flip to evade at the last split second. Next was a second figure behind her with a fire covered fist aimed at her head. However Meroshia moved her body out the way and grabbed the figure's wrist and threw it's body to it's partner. Getting a clear look, Rainbow Dash was shocked then ever had been in her life at the two familiar figures Meroshia was about to face. Standing side by side was non other than Gilda her former friend and next to her who seemed to have a cocky grin on her face was her former speed rival, Lightning Dust. Both of them were wearing robes of different color. However their wings were still shown from behind allowing them to be spread.
" Missed us Rainbow Dash?" Lightning Dust asked, completely ignoring Meroshia in front of them. Rainbow Dash ran next to Meroshia with her weapon out and ready.
" Know them?" Meroshia asked her.
" Their like Ex-girlfriends in my past. Now they want to fulfill destruction." Rainbow Dash answered. Meroshia chuckled at the answer and looked at her with a smirk.
" Well welcome to the club," She paused which made Rainbow Dash look at her with a confused expression. " You get used to it." After this was said, Meroshia teleported herself in a distance away from the situation. Rainbow Dash sighed at that, but she knew she could beat them even without Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy's help. Besides, what could they have now that should surprise her? Her thoughts were broken as Lightning Dust punched directly to her abdomen and slammed her down with quick bolt of electricity when the cyan Pegasus landed hard. Apparently, it didn't hurt as much as she thought, but it did some damage after having a short yet difficult battle with Nightmare Moon.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep soundtrack: Enter the Darkness
" Gilda, I think I can handle her. Go for her friends." Lightning Dust told the Gryphon. Gilda nodded as she flew away leaving the two former Wonderbolt Academy companions alone as Nightmare Moon was gone with frustration on her face.
Rainbow Dash jumped back to her feet and got ready once again and was alert for another attack. The amber haired Pegasus held her hands out as yellow lightning bolts shaped in her hand like blades and grabbed them. Both of them glared at each other till they both ran and crossed blades till they pushed each other back. Rainbow Dash attempted a swing from below as Lightning Dust prepared a swing with her blades shaping an X. At the same time they both were hit, but didn't back away. Black and white orbs shaped in their hands as they threw it where they stood at close range making an unstable clash of magic making an explosion making a white cloud.
They flew out the cloud wings spread with each leaving their own trail streaks. Moving at fast motions only their streaks could be the only way to know where they were as they were closing in and bouncing off of one another. The two Pegasus stopped their sonic speed attacks as they were now panting already from how much they've done in little time. Rainbow Dash was bleed on the right side of her face as her jacket was cut revealing her tank top underneath. Lightning Dust was only bleeding on her left arm which she could still use and her robe was already nearing to turn to shreds. Rainbow Dash let actions speak louder than her pain filled thoughts she wanted to say. She dashed at the opal Pegasus with speed nearing to break the sound barrier. To her shock Lightning Dust was able to read that and be able to block her attempt at her big finale.
" No. Allow me, Rainbow." She said as she was suddenly gone in a instant only to reappear above her and kick down on the top of her head then reappear behind to slice her back causing blood to spew from that. The strikes faster then the fastest flier herself was meeting her match as she was getting beat down in a intense rate till suddenly when Lightning Dust appeared behind her and Rainbow Dash was surrounded by a yellow electric orb she gasped that her big finale was on her.
" It was a nice fight, but it now it comes to an end." At that end a large yellow bolt of electricity rained down on the overwhelmed rainbow haired Pegasus forcing her straight to the ground making the ground crack and building a giant crater.
All she felt was pain. She couldn't move her body due to the electricity paralyzing her. She was laying on the ground beaten and bleeding. She couldn't believe she was defeated by someone she could of been friends with maybe. She heard footsteps and barely had the strength to turn her head seeing it was Lightning Dust who was looking down on her with no remorse in her eyes.
" Who are you? What have you done with...the Lightning Dust I knew!" She tried to yell out, but it didn't come out as loud as she thought.
" Nothing is wrong with me Rainbow Dash," Lighting Dust answered. " You brought this on yourself and you and your friends will die. I'll admit though. We did have a chance to become friends, but that moment was blown and so will your life." Lightning Dust held her blade up ready to impale the Pegasus' heart.
" See ya."
BOOOM!!!
Suddenly Lightning Dust was sent flying out the crater and back onto the surface by a heavy uppercut by a figure she couldn't she clearly. All she saw was a cowboy hat before she fainted from a loss of blood.
Fabula Nova Crystallis of Harmony
A groan came out from the orange teenage Pegasus as her consciousness was regained from a soft bump from below. She noticed she was sitting in a seat of a train, not like any train she rode though. From the window at first she saw complete darkness until suddenly it showed the train was on a bridge under green colored liquid. Scootaloo stood from her seat only for another bump to erupt to make her lose balance and sit back down. When things steadied she stood again and saw the deep and creepy cart she was on. It was longer then usual train cars and I'm sure nobody has seen skulls hanging from above the exits since it's far from Nightmare Night. She decided not to guess as she continued forward walking slowly and sometimes being held back by the bumpy ride on the bridge.
" I hope this doesn't tilt over into that liquid." Scootaloo thought when she regained her balance once again. As she moved on she was met with a sudden grab around her neck and was thrown back into another seat. She looked up seeing a girl who looked to be in her early adult hood, but her grayish skin made the young Pegasus remind her of someone she felt she knew before in the past. But she may be wrong so she decided to not guess. The girl was unusual and not just by the unpleasant skin, Scootaloo could of sworn the girl's arm flashed into a new from until it became normal. The young woman had short silver hair with bangs covering her left eye which could still be a bit noticed. Her eyes were crimson and she wore a black short sleeve shirt with a design of a red tear drop, shorts, and knee length boots.
" A-are you that cloaked person from before?" She asked nervously although she was ready for a fight if necessary. However the woman shook her head.
" That was Meroshia. Sadly, I have to call her my mother since she is. That's besides the point though. She did what she did to your friends and yourself because she knows you aren't even close to ready for what's ahead in the near future." She answered.
" What? Is she a seer or something?" The Pegasus asked. The woman ignored that question and just decided to introduce so she would not sound a bit mysterious.
" My name is Merciless. Despite what my name means, I only want to help you and your friends. But first you need to find your way out this Hell Train." She said.
" How exactly do I do that?"
" First, testing where your power is at here and now." Suddenly Scootaloo was able to roll out her seat evading a punch which blew the seat she was just sitting in back against the others. Her weapon appeared in her hand. The blade of her sword the shape of part of a Pegasus's wing and was orange like her. She held her sword at the ready as Merciless reached towards her back for her hand to touch the hilt of a sword which was nearly as big as her and the hilt had a skull design onto it. She then made a gesture for her to come at her.
13th Struggle
Instead of running at her Scootaloo shot a white orb at her which she knocked away easily. Merciless decided to run at her instead and attempted an overhead slash which the Pegasus was able to use her wings to hover and fly back a distance from her. This time Scootaloo ran towards her and attempted a swing of her own, but her blade was grabbed and she was thrown over the light gray skinned woman and into a wall where a door was which lead to another train car. Scootaloo suddenly kicked herself off of the wall and flew towards her and this time there was second weapon in her hand resembling Rainbow Dash's sword in her own color. Once at a certain range she swung one blade at her which she expected to get blocked only to use the other to swing overhead which cut straight down Merciless' body making blood spew from the wound. She didn't back away though, she swung her sword from below and up towards Scootaloo and even though she blocked it she was sent up to the ceiling of the train car, but not hard enough to go through.
That soon changed when a large purpleish white orb hit her to her stomach and to her shock, exploded sending her through the ceiling and landing on the top of the train. Worse enough, there was no other train car behind her as Merciless who just landed in front of her, did have a few.
Kingdom hearts: Fight to the death
" Try not to fall, little girl. If you wanna save your friends and your idol then you need to beat me to pass phase one of your trial." Merciless taunted. This felt like the final straw to Scootaloo. For her Crusaders, Celestia, and most importantly to her, Rainbow Dash. She wanted to help them all till her last breath was drawn. With rage suddenly now her strength to help for the sake of her strength she lashed out strike after strike to try and hit her, but even with two blades they were now getting blocked as if her first hit was her last hit she'd ever get. The gray skinned woman slightly pushed Scootaloo which caused her to near the edge where she'd be left behind by the train. She saw Merciless attempt another strike, but this time Scootaloo jumped over her with a front flip and now she slowly began to lose her balance on edge and unfortunately she fell.
Just in case, Scootaloo moved to another train car in case she would come back, she could sense it in her gut. Then, a roar was heard which sounded very familiar to her. Suddenly appearing beside the train was none other than the well know large winged beast, Bahamut and Merciless was sitting on it's head with her sword gone.
" Let's see how you take me on now." She said as the Bahamut shifted it's form into some kind of jet-like form. The Bahamut flew to a distance from the train as well making sure it caught up. Scootaloo remembered she had a little trick up her sleeve thanks to Max's hard training in the distant past. She held her two swords together and soon a light surrounded it and it took shape as a double bladed spear. She grinned. With her weapon in this state and with good accuracy, she could defeat the Bahamut in no time.
" Say your prayers!" She provoked as she threw her spear with precision and despite the long range, she hit the monster's wing and the spear exploded causing it to stagger a lot to the point it almost hit the liquid. The spear reappeared in Scootaloo's grasp as she stuck it on the top of the train with a smile.
" How did you like that?" She was forced to eat those words when a small portal formed in it's faces while it was flying and small violet projectiles came out and began hitting the train in every area, but with bad accuracy she didn't need to move to evade although she did stumble from the multiple impacts. The Pegasus retaliated as her spear was now coated with fire and she threw it again, but this time the Bahamut dodged it to her annoyance. This time she shot a black and white mixed orb at the winged monster this time right when her spear reappeared. At the same moment she threw her spear at the orb which made it split into millions of smaller orbs which was way more difficult for the Bahamut to evade that it staggered more and went in the green liquid with a splash.
" Yes!" She said proud at taking out a Bahamut all by herself.
Her celebration was short lived when the Bahamut reemerged from the liquid with a blue orb forming on it's head. Scootaloo recognized it which made instinct tell her get to the closest to the front of the train as possible. The orb was released and unfortunate for her, she wasn't close enough to the front and soon witness an incredibly large explosion on the top of a train car which somehow didn't take it as damage to hard. As for the leader of the Crusaders, there was flash and next thing she knew...she was somehow safe. The explosion ceased and Scootaloo was now standing between her two best friends, none other than Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.
" Girls! How did you get here?" She said not believing what she was seeing. Merciless happened to answer that for her.
" You see Scootaloo. You'd never would been able to defeat me no matter how hard you tried, without help at least. The first part of your test was to survive against me. If my Bahamut would of used Megaflare sooner, you would of fell calling out to your friends and still your best friends would of came, but with one less person on this fight. Now skip formalities and finish this!" She explained. Scootaloo had her spear back in her hand as she was ready to settle a score.
" Crusaders! Now's our time to prove that we can help everyone, here...and now." Scootaloo told them. Sweetie Belle and Applebloom nodded.
" Ah wanna help out Applejack as much as I can even if it kills me." Applebloom added.
" We'll get out of here and we will search for those crystals non-stop!" Sweetie Belle vowed as her hands were surrounded by an aura.
Final fantasy 13-2 Ruler of time and space
With a roar the Bahamut made two yellow beams from below and it went straight up through the train causing multiple explosion which didn't hit them at all. Scootaloo found this a bit odd since she was only hit once and then suddenly her friends appear. She noticed Applebloom having her hands cupped over her mouth as she shouted out: " HEY YOU LITTLE VERMIN! I'LL DEAL WITH YA!" She provoked as a red staff with two green blades shaped as and X formed in her hand. The winged beast suddenly shifted forms back into it's humanoid state and swiped her claws towards the cowgirl.
Applebloom blocked it with the entire spear and with all the strength she could dish out, pushed back the Bahamut's claws causing it to back away from the train.
" Heh, How do ya like that?" She continued to provoke. " Come on. This ain't over. This'll be quick." Again, the Bahamut paid it's attention only to the cowgirl Equestrian which gave Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle a perfect opportunity to attack. Scootaloo threw her spear again at the Bahamut mixed with an electric aura given by Sweetie Belle making it cause a barrage of lightning bolts rain down when the spear made contact. The Bahamut growled once it recovered and this time reverted to it's jet form with another blue orb forming on it's head only this time it was shooting it from behind the train.
Scootaloo was about to get some distance till Applebloom stopped her with sudden cockiness.
" Not this again. Come on!" Scootaloo admired her sudden courage for being a distraction, but this was a big risk she was making. She still stepped back just in case. The beast fired it's projectile directly towards Applebloom and what she did shocked the two other Crusaders. She spun her staff with great speed that it was fast enough to knock the projectile away and explode on contact somewhere else.
The Bahamut roared again and this time when it turned humanoid again, it began to spin with it's claws out which this time hit all of the Crusaders sending them high off the top of the train car. However while they still in midair, Scootaloo threw a black and white mixed orb at it which made a explosion on contact. While it was staggered, Scootaloo grabbed her friend's hands and flew to another train car away from it and her spear reappeared in her hand.
" Alright, playtime is over." Merciless's voice was heard. All the girls got ready for what was going to happen now that the Bahamut disappeared.
Appearing from a group of bats was none other than Merciless. This time she didn't have a sword, she had a large fan on her back similar to what the Crusaders saw back in Ponyville. Another thing different was her right arm. Instead of it being gray like her entire skin, it was blue with glowing red designs like a it was snake wrapping around it.
" Congratulations on being able to take out the Bahamut. But you must stop me in order to gain the privilege of freedom in this darkness. This time Scootaloo, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle. Things won't be easy as you think." Merciless explained. The Crusaders shivered a bit at how serious she sounded about this. However they let fear be their words of courage to her.
" We never expected this to be easy. It would be a shame if it was. But, if this will get me the power to help, we'll do it." Scootaloo spoke.
" Right! So what if ya got new stuff on you. We'll kick your butt anyway!" Applebloom added.
Sweetie Belle only nodded as all the Crusaders got ready for what Merciless was gonna do. Merciless smiled at their persistence and placed her hand on the hilt of her fan.
" Let's see then. No survival. Actually defeat me if your still so confident." She challenged. Her answer was Scootaloo who now had her two swords and Applebloom both running towards her and both attacking her one at a time. Merciless dodged each and once getting her opening, she swung her fan while at the same time blew a purple fireball making three fiery tornado hitting the Crusaders point blank. Both of them were flown back like dummies and laid on the ground for moment till they got up seconds later.
Merciless placed her fan on her back again and this time used her blue arm which extended out towards them. Applebloom grabbed it and reeled the her into a haymaker causing the woman to nearly fall from one of the ledges till suddenly large bat wings grew from her back allowing her to save herself. This irritated all of the Crusaders.
" Change of plans girls, Crusader Invasion!" Scootaloo ordered as she hovered from the train car. Merciless dashed towards them making Scootaloo grab Applebloom's arm and fly away with her leaving Sweetie Belle. As she went for her, Merciless was stopped when she felt her a cut around her leg and one on her cheek. She stopped in her attack and noticed she was surrounded by small silver diamonds which she noticed came from Sweetie Belle telling from her horn glowing.
" LOOK OUT BELOW!" Scootaloo and Applebloom's voices were heard from above and before Merciless could look up, she felt herself pinned down by her head then at the same time impaled by two blades in her back. She let out a scream as the gems were send flying in random directions and even went past Sweetie Belle and she didn't even flinch. A gasp came out from Applebloom when she noticed Merciless was gone all of a sudden.
" Girls! Behind you!" Sweetie Belle warned. They both turned, but Scootaloo was grabbed by Merciless with her hand around her throat as she stomped Applebloom to the ground.
" You've almost got me. But this is over...I win." She said with a vacant expression on her face. The orange Pegasus grit her teeth as she held her sword up in between them.
" Don't count us out yet!" She told the bat winged woman. Merciless held Scootaloo's blade back, but didn't noticed her hand was glowing with another black and white projectile in her hand. When she did, it was too late when the orb exploded in between them making Merciless lose her grip on Scootaloo and stepped back from Applebloom. When the cloud of smoke was over Scootaloo had another in her hand only it surrounded her fist.
" We will protect our friends and if it means breaking every bone in my body so be it! THIS IS GONNA HURT!" With those words the Pegasus once known to be insulted by all others, the one that couldn't fly when she was younger, yet got found her special talent punched Merciless towards her face with all her power she could muster and it was enough to send her flying back along with a large ring of light around her after her punch. She began to pant and even sat back as she saw Merciless on the ground for moment till she suddenly vanished then reappeared in front Scootaloo and to her surprise, she smiled at the teen.
" You've done good. So protecting everyone is what drives you to keep fighting, sounds like Rainbow Dash is your idol after all. Your friends however, I'll admit even though they aren't ready, they are good for strategic situations. Well done. Your free to go." Merciless snapped her fingers and she vanished along with the Crusaders.
Next thing the Crystal Crusaders knew was that they were now in what looked like, Canterlot. No monster in sight, but there was damage.
" Let's go. The sooner we search, the better." Scootaloo said as she began to walk to a random direction. Her friend followed silently as they're journey for the crystals begun.

What are THEY doing here!
" I really feel uncomfortable having a former villain working with us Max." The human rubbed the back of his head sheepishly as he was with Twilight, Spike, Trixie, and the younger, adorable yet former queen Chrysalis who were now in a large city known as Dexlon. Trixie happened to mention it when they all came together. Luckily it was a place in Equestria where there wasn't any monster activity.
" Look. I may not know her true history between you girls and guy. But, come on how long ago was that? Sometimes you need to keep past behind you." Max told them as he petted Chrysalis on her head which annoyed her.
" Plus, she even told me all her known abilities and demonstrated against a behemoth," Max told them. " Magic. Not as powerful as Twilight's but it's not like any other magic. She can poison anything. Well except some multi-race goons who happen to also believe in Nightmare Moon's cause." Twilight just waved her hand like she didn't care about the facts of this young changeling and still considered it a bad idea to have her here.
" Max, let's face a fact that you need to learn about Changelings," Twilight began as a crazed grin and look in her eye was made to bring in the mood. " She feeds off the love of others in anyway possible and there is no limit to that lust desire!" She explained. The look on her face made Max take a step back although he was already far enough.
" Well, maybe it drives her because," He walked over to Twilight and whispered the rest in her ear: "her parents never hugged her." The purple unicorn never thought of it like that, but she still had her eyes on the young former queen.
" Well for once, we can get a break from fighting and have some R&R while we can." Trixie said in relief. This made Max get a bit surprised when the "great and powerful" needed rest. But he didn't bother her with it and instead looked around the big and beautiful city, Dexlon.
" Well, no use standing here. I might find a crystal before you." Trixie said, walking away from the group. This made Max groan as he followed after her. seeing him leave made Chrysalis sigh in relief until she noticed glares from Twilight and Spike which made her even more speechless since having a long walk with Max. However for once she spoke again.
" Aren't you two gonna make out while you have time? Don't worry I won't watch." She turned around facing away from the glares that turned into blushes. Twilight completely lost her temper from the little rascal and was about to levitate her till Chrysalis added something else.
" Also if you try to levitate me I'll break off your horn and levitate it up your flank and plot." She threatened.
Plot and flank are two different things in this. All girls have plots for example
Twilight placed her hands on her hips and turned to Spike...to find out he was gone. She screamed out in the sky. Now she had to look after the young Chrysalis now who was now looking at her with a less mocking look on her face. Better yet she looked adorable like she was when she first saw her with Max. She was now guess the changeling standing in front of her was a body with both a demon and a angel sharing it at once. She began to ponder if that was even possible, but her thoughts were interrupted when Chrysalis tugged onto her robe.
" Come on! I wanna see some sights in this city." She whined. Twilight looked at her and smiled. She'll give her a chance for now and with that decision she walked with her around the city.
Max,Trixie, and Spike
Max was falling behind Trixie as Spike was now running to catch up with them. Trixie noticed this which made her have a cocky grin.
" Aw, am I already having some admirers to come follow me around?" She asked with a boastful tone in her voice. Max was panting when he finally was up to her.
" Are you kidding? I only followed you because I don't want you going a Ursa Minor and getting yourself killed." He meant for that to be a warning, but Trixie took it as an insult and cursed Twilight for telling him her failed attempt at facing a one. She sneered at him till she noticed Spike panting as well beside Max. She ignored him and was began to yell at Max to never tell her about the Ursa Minor incident again. Along with that was her telling him what happened thinking he already knew already. Apparently Max snickered and laughed at her after telling her story.
" What? It's old! How is it still funny?" She asked with in a loud tone. Spike walked up next to her.
" Uh, Trix. He wasn't here at the time so you basically humiliated yourself...again." Spike told her. Trixe's eye twitched as she placed a sheepish smile on her face in embarrassment. Finally she screamed out in the sky: "DAMN IT!!!" It turned out to the worst mistake in her life as the screamed echoed till suddenly a roar was heard.
" Aw come on! What now? This place isn't even monster infested." Max groaned. Luckily nothing seemed to come out of the ordinary which made them all sigh in relief. Max glared at the "great and powerful" mage who chuckled nervously now.
" Lucky for you I'm not the merciless type to kill where someone stands, Trixie." Max told her. Spike tapped his shoulder which brought his attention to a familiar Equestrian and apparently the only one out of all that would put even Max or Spike in different clothing. You guess it, it was Rarity. The sight automatically made Spike somehow fly towards her with a lovestruck look on his face. She looked exhausted yet beautiful no matter how you look at it.
She wore purple coat, white gloves around her hands and and black pants. Max looked at Spike blankly as he was now in front of his crush who walked past him like he wasn't even there which made him hiss.
" Ouch. That was harsh." He thought. However Rarity greeted him first when she walked past which made Max sigh in relief that Spike's heart didn't break...it exploded. Spike regained his composure and ran back next to the human boy.
" Rarity. It's been years." Max said, not very enthusiastic. She took notice of that grabbed his cheek and began to pull which made him wince and grab her hand. " GAH!" He yelped.
" Oh, it's been long indeed Max. I haven't seen you since you were only at my hip. Opal missed you as well." She said, finally letting go of him. Max felt flattered that the Rarity's annoying cat actually missed him which made him remember that he did take great care of her one time. But still, he found Opal kind of a stubborn cat at times.
" I uh, feel...honored?" He answered with a questionable tone. Rarity noticed Trixie which made her scoff and place her hands on her hips. Trixie did the same as they both glared daggers at each other. Max was about to ask why they hated each other till Spike answered before it came out.
" Trixie turned Rarity's hair green. You image and tell me that looks wrong on her." He whispered. Max imaged and almost felt like throwing up since Green+Rarity don't mix in the slightest. After a while of awkward silence Max decided to break it up.
" Look girls. I'm sure you've all had grudges back in the day, but come on. We don't take things seriously and Nightmare Moon already wins." He tried to play peacekeeper since he was dealing with a boastful mage and a dress designer in this break up. However his attempt fail as a devious smirks came across their faces which triggered another hopeless fight. All he did now was walk back to Spike who was at a distance and watched. Suddenly Max felt like he needed to really see this, he didn't know Rarity's abilities so this could be a perfect time.
Test of the L'cie
Trixie got her hands ready for a spell as Rarity held out a silver gem which suddenly turned into a crystal sword.
" I don't want to get my hands dirty in this one. Back me up." Rarity threw down several more gems into the ground and in a few seconds came crystal beings the shape of her. " Go." She commanded. The crystal beings charged at Trixie at once overwhelming her, but still kept calm and fired a fiery orb in between the allies causing a fiery pillar to erupt around them. Trixie chuckled at how easy the gems were until noticing a blue light inside of it being transferred into Rarity.
" What is she doing?" That's the thought that everyone had when seeing this.
" Here. Have some more." Rarity taunted as she summoned more crystal beings to attack. This time Trixie decided to avoid attacking them and went for Rarity head on. She ran through the crystals as a fireball was ready in her hand. She inches away for a point blank hit until suddenly some invisible force pushed her back. After this, the crystal beings became blue orbs and went inside of Rarity. Right after this Rarity's blade turned brightly purple and fiery as she was now grinning at the boastful mage.
" Time to end this. This'll sting." Rarity said. She ran towards Trixie and swung her blade up creating another invisible push sending the white haired mage up in the air without Rarity bringing contact to her. After this the dress designer threw her sword up which turned into an orb and exploded onto Trixie on contact. The mage was send crashing down from the heavy explosion and was already nearing defeat from that. Spike and Max's eyes widened that and yet snickered that Trixie lost to Rarity before the fight even felt like it started.
Rarity smiled and looked at Max and pointed at him.
" Now that she's learned her lesson I wonder what the outcome would be if we were to fight. Come now darling don't be shy." She said sweetly. Max had cocky grin on his face as he happily accepted although this was gonna be his last fight till he actually goes to fated one. He held his hands out as his sword of fire and lightning appeared in his hands.
" All I can say is beware since me and Twilight do share an element which grants me magic like her. Not to mention I wield two blades." He warned. Rarity chuckled and looked at him sweetly.
" Then I guess. I might need to play a little harder then."
Rarity summoned more crystal beings and ordered them to attack him. Max however stopped them with a rush of lightning bolts making them shatter. He expected them to turn into orbs but that never happened which made him look very confused.
" Shouldn't you be a little stronger by now?" He asked. Rarity only laughed and clapped her hands for him. This made him now look at her with a quizzical look on his face.
" Darling I can only adsorb them if they're alive for a certain amount of time. Did you see that the second time I summoned them?" She told him. Trixie stepped in to question her instead.
" But I killed them with that fire pillar!" She whined. Rarity shook her hand and didn't even bother turning to her.
" Elementary dear. You can't burn gems no matter how hard you try. Use your head." She told her. Trixie laid back and groaned not saying anymore words. Rarity giggled until seeing that Max had both of his blades crossing her throat which had her at the mercy already. This made Max look at her with wide smile.
" Always keep your guard up." He teased. The dress designer jumped back and folded her arms while glaring at him.
" Ruffian." She spat.
" Hey, who said there were rules?" Max countered. He noticed Rarity was now looking serious at him just by how she was grinning at him.
" Guess it's time I use my other half then. Be careful though. I'd advise you to have a trump card up your sleeve darling." With that said, when Rarity blinked her right eye had turned from it's beautiful azure color into an intimidating red, but not with a glow like Meroshia's.
Spike gasped at seeing this which made him even look intimidated at his crush now. Max only shrugged off of the change of appearance and got ready. However before they could continue there everyone began to hear gunfire and explosions from a distances.
" Wait, gunfire? No way are humans actual here?" Max said aloud. He actually disagreed since he remembered he was brought here by a portal and that was that. No way in the human world they could of reopened it and if so, who?
" Why would humans actually attack Equestria you say their nice people." Trixie asked as she walked up beside him.
" Guess we better find out." Max groaned as he followed the sound along with the others behind him. They all noticed the gunshots were getting louder which meant they were getting closer. When Max got ready to turn a corner he suddenly noticed an army of his kind attacking innocent Equestrians which made him turn back and hide behind a building which made his friends get the idea and follow.
" What's worse I think their attacking us, mostly your kind." Max explained to them. Rarity gasped while Trixie growled.
" What did we ever do to them! Your the only human in this world, no harm to that right?" Trixie asked. Max looked at them sheepishly which made them knew he forgot to tell them something that might even be important.
" Let's just say there can be some friends of us humans that may have came here if there really is an army here. Anyway, if they see me they shouldn't attack which probably could be a huge advantage for us. First let's just see how many there are." Max told them. He peeked from the corner of the building and was shocked to see that there may be only a few soldiers, but they had mechs for their support. There were three mechs as there were seven soldiers which was a problem enough. He looked away and sighed at how difficult this could be.
" Alright, this may be a headache. They came here heavy. All I can say is that I need to a diversion while you try to take them out." Max told them. He moved away from his hiding spot while Spike was next to see what he was talking about. The sight of the mechs seemed to frighten him from their size.
" Wow, how do humans get upgraded so fast. I doubt your magic could scratch that." Spike said. Rarity and Trixie saw the mechs and looked the same, but Trixie told them that it was worth a try at least.
" Who knows, Max could know how to destroy it." She told them.
" Yeah, let's take care of the normals and worry about the giants later okay darling?" Rarity suggested as she began to hold out two gems in her hand while walking to the other side of the building to get a better look at where they'd be fighting. SHe saw the seven soldiers surrounding a fountain with a statue in the middle of it. Max was approaching them.
" Might as well reveal myself, I'm sure even humans wouldn't dare attack someone as beautiful as me." Rarity thought as she threw down her gems creating more crystal being who emerged and hide while Rarity took off towards Max.
Meanwhile with Max the soldiers noticed him and what he expected to happen, happened. They had a bit of confusion of how a boy like him made it into a portal they managed to spawn. From explaining the portal Max already knew he had keep them alive while killing the mechs. Suddenly, he heard on the soldiers yell out an Equestrian which caught Max's attention, Rarity.
" Darn it why the hell is she out her spot!" Max growled. His swords appeared in his hands and swung them both at soldiers making lightning bolts scare them and postpone their attempt to shoot Rarity. He suddenly remembered the mechs though as one aimed and fired a rocket at Rarity without her noticing.
But the rocket exploded before hitting her which caused a bit of confusion to everyone. Next was green fireballs hitting the mechs with little damage, it was Spike charging in on the mech. Once he got close he grabbed onto it's leg and somehow even to Max's surprise he was able to yank it off making it lose balance.
" Were under attack!" One of soldiers yelled.
" Uh oh." Max thought as he noticed more soldiers coming their way. He turned to see one aim his assault rifle at him. Before he could Max fired a white and black orb at him from his hand. The orb exploded onto contact sending him in the air and Max already knew from that he was unconscious. He saw the extra soldiers coming their way before he noticed Trixie with water surrounding her hands.
A ball of water shot from her hands landing in the middle of the soldiers. The water orb exploded on impact leaving a small tornado of water to form and fall into droplets.
Soundtack: Blinded by light
" Max, you don't mind if I use your species as practice right?" Trixie asked mockingly. Max looked at the boastful mage and sighed.
" Fine, just don't use fire magic. Surely your still great and powerful, right Trix?" Max replied with a mocking grin on his face. Trixie only scoffed as she began to walk towards him.
" Please, Trixie always has tricks up her sleeves to defeat anyone." She boasted. She turned to see a surviving soldier which made the water surrounding her turn to electricity.
" This is for attacking Trixie's world." She said as a heavy lightning bolt struck onto him even sending him flying. After that attack the ground began to shake to everyone's surprise. Max stood his ground while Trixie somehow lost her balance and fell on her butt.
" What the heck is going on?" Spike asked as he began to lift the broken mech's leg like a light weapon over his shoulder. Before anyone knew it from a distance that they were in a long dragon emerged which began to crumble the ground everyone was standing on. Everyone felt uneasy as they all suddenly began began to levitate till everyone was standing sideways on different buildings. Max didn't argue as he quickly began to run up to the roof to get a better look at the water dragon. It didn't seem to be doing any serious damage till noticing mechs flying towards it and attacking it with no success.
" How do we take THAT down? Who even made it?" He thought. His thoughts were interrupted when he felt someone touch his shoulders which scared him and would of easily made him jump out his own skin.
" Seems we've all have our hands full. First I've got ten bullet holes in my cloak thanks to these guys and now a giant Dragoon appears. It sucks to be good doesn't it?" The voice came from Meroshia who had a wide grin across her face while looking at the Dragoon itself. Max pushed her off of him and pointed his sword at her which only made her fold her arms in response.
" Come on, can't I have a little fun while were in danger?" She asked. Max let his sword down as he noticed Trixie and Spike on another building together and Rarity by herself.
" Fine, I guess you weren't the happy Element you were thought to be,"Meroshia began to walk away from him, but paused for a moment as she looked at the Dragoon again.
" If I were any of you I would just get out of here. Your too close to a Citadel in this area and if they get the wrong idea," Meroshia paused as she realized Max and the others were gone. " Wow, screw me they say." She muttered as she vanished into a black smoke.
Meanwhile, while Max had ignored and left Meroshia. Him and the others were now off the buildings safely and continued onward to the situation. Luckily no more soldiers were in the way for the moment since they were too busy facing the Dragoon head on. Spike only thought of this as buying time for them while Max was thinking a little naive that they were redeeming themselves already for attacking a species they knew nothing of. Either way it helped them. What they never noticed was that the Dragoon spawned monsters from itself and to the surface. Unfortunately, they were that target for it. In their way now was two giraffes one represented water as the other represented fire. Everyone immediately got ready for another fight,
" I was waiting for another challenge to show." Trixie said.
At the same time the giraffes bowed their heads down which summoned a blast wave of their element towards everyone. Trixie was about to create a barrier until Spike moved in front with his cheeks puffed and spewed green flames which extinguished the water wave and out came the fire easily. His flames proceeded and began to burn out the water giraffe first, but suddenly the fire giraffe came and rammed into him which forced Spike in the air and land on it's back. Everyone hissed for a moment at seeing him sitting on fire itself.
" He's lucky he's a dragon." Rarity told them. Max decided to step in as he ran at the fire giraffe with his blades now surrounded by water thanks to his own magic. He swung him swords at the same time creating a tornado of water himself while Spike jumped off at the last second while the giraffe suffered it's opposite.
" Hmm, show us your work." Rarity said as she stuck a gen into the ground which emerged from below and began to entomb the entire fire giraffe inside. Rarity chuckled as she shook her head.
" Hardly a challenge." She ranted as the gem shattered along with the giraffe. Max was about to go for the fire giraffe now, but noticed that it suddenly began to dissipate into water particles till it was nothing.
" Well that was easy." Trixie scoffed. Trixie never noticed a red dot was aimed at her neck as she was too busy looking around for any other monsters.
Coming from another building was a grown human male laying on his stomach while looking through the scope of his sniper rifle which aimed towards Trixie. The man sighed as he had his finger on the trigger ready to end the magician's life.
" Targets a targets." He told himself. He felt someone tap his shoulder which made him postpone his shot. He looked over his shoulder only to roll out the way of a sword that would of impaled him through his head. The human jumped to his feet and looked at his enemy. It was a cyan colored Equestria wearing a brown cloak, his eyes were green that glared daggers at the human. His short silver hair covered his eyes as he pointed his sword at the man.
" Why are your people here and how did you get here?" The Equestrian male asked grimly. Silence was between them for a moment till the grown man sighed took his helmet off. He had short blonde hair that slightly covered the left side his face and sky blue eyes. His out fit was a black trench coat, gloves, brown trousers, and boots.
" I wonder what gives me a reason to tell you. I'll give you a little warning about me. Baron Helmut, strongest known soldier in my world. I'd suggest you back off before getting an electric shot in your head." The solder threatened.
" Really? Guess I better warn you myself as well. Leo, defender of our goddesses, Celestia and Luna." The Equestrian warned. He held his sword at the ready. It's blade was brightly silver as the hilt was surrounded by a complex guard. Baron merely grinned as he made a swift motion of aiming his sniper with one arm and fired a bullet at Leo. Leo moved his body to evade and ran towards Baron with swing of his blade. The human jumped off the building with his sniper now on his back and now held a grappling hook in his hand.
" You made me miss my target and I'm not well equipped to take you on...yet." Baron said as he escaped from the battle.
Leo grunted, but decided to leave him alone. Bigger things were at hand, like the water dragon's sudden appearance. He took another minute to look around before deciding to take off into a bright light.
Fabula Nova Crystallis of Harmony
The chaos in Equestrian began to rise from the water dragon no matter where anybody went ever since the Dragoon emerged. The world was ever changing from destruction to havoc as everything was crumbling, Nightmare Moon would come to destroy again, Mane 6 ( or 7 if you don't mind adding Trixie -_-) knew this would come eventually. As Max and the others were fighting something big along with the mysterious appearance of humans, back in Canterlot Rainbow Dash was brought to Fluttershy thankfully by Applejack so she could be healed. No monsters were heard or were coming said by Pinkie Pie's pinkie sense which would mean they could stay out for a while. As Fluttershy was still healing with her hands glowing green and above Rainbow Dash she looked up to see Applejack was leaning against a wall with her head down as her cowboy hat covered her hair. Fluttershy decided to have a little conversation since it has been a while since she saw her.
" Is something wrong Applejack?" She asked softly. Applejack looked at the yellow Pegasus and smiled sadly at her.
" No sugarcube. Everything is fine." She answered. She still showed a bit of sadness and regret on her face which made Fluttershy already know there was something wrong. She wanted to walk to her and ask again, but she still had Rainbow Dash to heal. She heard a groan which made her turn her attention to Rainbow Dash who slowly opened her eyes and stared at Fluttershy.
" Oh, your awake. How do you feel?" The kind pegasus asked. Rainbow Dash sat up and held her head while taking a look at her surroundings while getting up.
" Well, I feel like thousand volts of electricity struck me on the inside, but nothing I can't handle." Rainbow Dash assured. She noticed Applejack and remembered that she really was the one that saved her from the dying by, Lightning Dust She wanted to thank her, but before doing that she cursed herself for even passing out from fighting her former friend. Applejack's voice snapped her out of her thoughts which made her gasp in surprise.
" Your welcome Rainbow. That Pegasus seemed to really get the better of ya. One good lariat really knocked her cold that I bet not even Fluttershy's healing could wake her." Applejack chuckled.
Rainbow Dash didn't know how, but she felt like something bothered the cowgirl. However unlike Fluttershy, she didn't bother asking her. She released her head while turning to the yellow Pegasus. Before asking though the Element of Kindness had already begun to answer he question.
" W-were still in Canterlot. While you were gone facing one of Nightmare Moon's goons me and Pinkie Pie were attacked." She explained.
" Attacked! By who?" Rainbow Dash asked in a stern tone that scared Fluttershy. Realizing he mistake she asked again nicely this time.
" It was G-G-Gilda." She stammered out. The answer shocked her slightly. She remembered seeing the Gryphon along with Lightning Dust. Another thing she remembered was that Meroshia easily stood a chance against them combined. What was weird was that why did she leave when they could of worked together to fight them as if she had someplace better to go.
" That's not all," Fluttershy snapped her out of her thoughts to listen to what else she had to say. " While attacked. Me and Pinkie just weren't strong enough to take her own no matter what. But, out of nowhere a Pegasus came and saved us, well me. Pinkie Pie was...captured." Rainbow Dash was now trying to hold her anger back and save it for Nightmare Moon.
" I know it's bad and all, but I just need to say. Something was odd just by seeing him." Fluttershy pointed out. Hearing this instantly quelled Rainbow Dash's anger inside her making her now in a more listening state. " He had your skin color, but his wings looked as if their color was drained away somehow." She paused allowing Rainbow Dash to speak now.
" Wings losing it's color? That would only mean he went through harsh experiments at one point and that must of been a cost. I wonder how he feels not flying anymore." She said with sympathy.
" That's the other odd part about him."
" Say what?"
Fluttershy nodded as she felt that Rainbow Dash was probably catching on what she knew. " Even without any power in his wings he's somehow able to fly, but I did see he had some trouble. One last thing that was odd the most was that whenever I see him do a certain movement I see a glimpse of you."
Rainbow Dash suddenly just stared at the shy Pegasus with her eyes half shut at what she heard and trying to see how that made sense.
" Are you coming onto me Flutters?" She asked. Fluttershy's face instantly turned red in embarrassment and waved her hands in front of her in defense.
" No no no no no no! I'd never. I mean I like you as a friend but I wouldn't take our relationship to the next level!" She spoke. Rainbow Dash chuckled at the reaction for a while, but decided enough was enough.
" Sorry, seeing someone and thinking it's me just made me think that you were daydreaming the whole thing as me as a boy." Finally Applejack decided to step into this. She shook head as she walk towards the rainbow haired Pegasus and tapped her shoulder.
" How 'bout instead of toying with Fluttershy we should probably get outta here and and hope we find Pinkie Pie, or anybody at least." The cowgirl suggested. It finally came to Rainbow Dash that they were indeed in a major conflict right now. She nodded as she got ready to move out. However, she cursed herself now that they were a little late as they saw a blonde haired man wearing a black trench coat and everything else of his outfit was black. His cold blue eyes stared at them with disgust for a moment, but showed a little bit of regret as well. Suddenly he reached into his coat and pulled a pistol out and aimed at Rainbow Dash first.
" I failed once. Better not do it a second time or humanity may kill me." He thought. His thoughts were interuppted when Rainbow Dash appeared in front of him and kicked his firearm away as well as knocking him back a few feet. He looked back at Rainbow Dash and gasped when another Pegasus entered his mind.
" Maybe, she's his brother?" He whispered to himself. Rainbow Dash stomped the ground gaining his attention. She looked furious and without another word held her hand out for her sword to appear and ran at him. The human quickly held his hands out and lightning shaped as blades came out his palms and used it to block Rainbow Dash's attack.
" She also has the same attitude as him by looking at them both." He used his other blade to strike with an upper swing. Rainbow Dash flew back and landed. Suddenly the man looked back to see a couple of completely armored men wielding machine guns and stopped at seeing him.
" Commander Baron. Need help?" one of their voices sounded a little like a teen and the man grumbled as he knew who it was.
" No." He said sternly as he resumed to attack Rainbow Dash first.
He ran at her this time and looked as if he was going to thrust his sword which Rainbow Dash was ready to knock away, but instead, Baron shot his blade out his palm towards her. However the result for Rainbow Dash was knocking it away.
" What was that suppose to do?" Rainbow Dash asked mockingly. However she ate those words when Baron used his free hand to throw Rainbow Dash in the air and at the same time used his other blade to extend towards her and to Applejack and Fluttershy's shock she was impaled. Applejack quickly tried to step in, but the solders shot at her and if it weren't for Fluttershy's barrier coming at the last second she would of ended up like Chrysalis. Applejack couldn't make it now since she couldn't leave Fluttershy out in the open as she advances.
Baron held his shoulder with his free hand as electricity rushed through him and to his lightning blade, but no screams were heard. He looked up and saw Rainbow Dash was gone!
" Impossible, she should of been paralyzed and helpless if I stabbed her." He said aloud. He heard groans from behind him and noticed the soldiers were knocked out which didn't surprise him in the least.
" Hey. Looking for us?" A Pegasus called out. Baron turned towards where he heard the voice and gasped at who it belonged to.

Standing in front of Rainbow Dash who was holding her chest was none other than Leo the same Pegasus who fought Baron a while ago. Leo spread his wings which surprisingly grey which made Rainbow Dash look in shock. He gave a Baron a glare and held his sword out and without warning warped from a white light beside Baron and looked at him. Baron looked at him only to meet an elbow to his stomach knocking the wind out of him. During this motion time seemed as if it slowed for everyone as Baron, Fluttershy, and Applejack could of swore to see a glimpse of Rainbow Dash from Leo. When the sight vanished Baron shook off what he saw as he grabbed Leo's arm, but Leo only warped away to his annoyance.
" Over here." Leo taunted. Before the commander could turn he was already knocked out by Leo's lariat from behind. Baron tried standing again but only fell back on the ground.
" Stay down. You'll live longer." Leo advised him. He walked back towards the group who only stared at one part of his body at the moment, his wings. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy looked at each other for a second till Leo spoke to them.
" Glad to see your safe. My name is Leo Flare, captain of Celestia's guards." Leo introduced. The girls looked at him a little confused at first and Rainbow Dash was first to speak.
" Sorry for the disrespect, but you look a little young to even be a royal guard better yet a captain."
" Sure I may only be 14, but come on you saw me wipe the floor with that trash." Leo pointed out. The way he spoke really resembled Rainbow Dash in every way, but unlike the rest Rainbow Dash walked over and placed an arm around his shoulder and told him that he must of been of fan of her at one point if he were to speak like that.
" Well, I am just a loyal and proud guardian like that and sorry if this sounds weird to you but-" Rainbow Dash cut him off when she remembered the wings.
" Wait Leo, what happened to your wings. I feel very sorry for you if this happened at a young age. Mostly because you can't fly now." She said. Leo was now looking confused at what she said and looked back at his wings.
" What's wrong with them? I can still fly, see." Leo proved his point by hovering a few feet from the ground and to everyone's surprise he even hovered higher to the point where he was above them all. The blue royal guard landed and saw their looks.
" How exactly are you still able to fly? I never saw another Equestrian with two different colors except their hair." Fluttershy asked him softly. Leo only shrugged off the question as he turned away from them.
" Sorry. I gotta go now. I'll need to go back to the-" Leo paused for a moment and smacked his forehead and changed what he was about to say. " There are more humans attacking us and I think I'll help take them out before things get out of hand." He corrected himself as he ran away, but he didn't get far. Rainbow Dash landed in front of him and held her arms out blocking him.
" Hold on. Your hiding something aren't you?" She asked sensing his suspicion. Leo sighed and folded his arms and looked at her with a serious expression.
" Your going to hate me for this, but after saving those two a while ago, I was unable to save the pink girl. Sombra took her." Leo explained. Rainbow Dash's eye twitched at hearing that and suddenly she lashed out towards him with a roundhouse kick only for the other cyan Pegasus to duck. Instead of making a counterattack, Leo jumped back to gain a distance from her.
" YOU LET HIM TAKE HER AWAY!" She yelled that even made Applejack flinch. Leo closed his eyes for a brief second and opened them for them to be crimson with black lines for pupils. He hated having to fight one of the Elements of Harmony, but he knew Rainbow Dash was a feisty one. Heck, he was feisty at times.
A dagger came out his sleeve and in his hand. It had three edges and let off a white glow every two seconds.
" Don't do something your going to regret, I'm mad at myself too. I want to save her just as much now, but he caught me off guard." Leo explained. He continued to stare at the enraged Pegasus as his eyes showed a bit of regret themselves. If he had to quell her anger the hard way then so be it, but he had to keep damage to a minimum if they do tangle. Hopefully though, Rainbow Dash took a deep breath, but her glare still remained. At the same time Leo's eyes turned back to their normal light green.
" There are more things at stake between this right now, I hope you realize this." Leo reminded her. Rainbow Dash slowly nodded and walked past him to get to Applejack and Fluttershy. Leo rubbed the back of his head as he looked at the three Equestrian females since he was now afraid they might attack him ( except Fluttershy who looked scared just by looking at him).
" The quicker we find the Crystals the better." Applejack spoke as she turned around to walk away. Rainbow Dash followed along with Fluttershy who waved goodbye shyly. What's next in this conflict, he felt like he already made an enemy out of the heroes already which was what he didn't want. He remembered his failed attempt at trying to save Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie the first time he met them, but his speed just wasn't enough and it got Pinkie taken. One Element down means this gives Nightmare Moon the upper hand since Main 6 and only find their own crystals unless the Crystal Crusaders found it first. Highly unlikely, but it was possible.
" Well, well. What have we here?" A voice spoke beside him. Leo quickly turned to find a familiar Pegasus he's heard of. Lightning Dust, somehow she was still up and going with no scratches on her whatsoever. Leo merely turned his head to looked face to face with her and snorted. Lightning Dust folded her arms as she turned away from him and instead decided to walk away from instead muttering something under her breath. Leo turned towards her walking away and noticed that on the back of her robe was a crescent moon which Leo knew what this meant.

He quickly threw his dagger at her which Lighting Dust dodged as quickly as her name suggested. However time seemed to slow right after she moved her body to dodge his knife which made a grin creep onto his face. He teleported to where his dagger behind Lighting. His dagger now was converted into rainbow colored orb in his hand and was aimed to her chest.
" RainbowRuinga." Leo muttered as he was about to press the bright orb onto her. Still just as the name suggested Lighting Dust was able to dodge by a quick back flip and now Leo's Ruinga orb was now thrown in a distance where it exploded into different colors on impact.
" Too slow little colt." Lightning taunted as she let out an electric covered fist at his face hitting point blank on his cheek and sending his flying in the air. She flew after him with her hand covered in electricity again only in the shape of a blade just like Baron's. Leo was able to recover from the first attack and was able to dash out of the way which made Lighting Dust looked at his discolored wings. The distraction gave his a perfect opportunity to push himself towards her and slammed her back to the ground and quickly back flip away from her just for him to summon his dagger in his hand again. This time it converted into a double edged sword with red marking spiraling the blade to their edges. His other hand produced a yellow blade around his hand and got ready for the other Pegasus.
" You've been Discolored..." Lightning Dust told him as she slowly stood back on her feet. Leo didn't get it. He only knew his wings have always been this color for as long as he remembered. Was it? For some reason he just couldn't remember the past as if it just got wiped away in a snap of a god's fingers. Nightmare Moon couldn't do it no matter how powerful she appeared to be, but he still didn't let it get to him. " But somehow your still able to fly. I wonder how that is. Not even Twilight would be to fix that. Any part of your body loses color and it's paralyzed and numb for life." She continued. Lightning Dust shook her head and proceeded towards Leo and attempted to make another electric covered uppercut which he barely dodged only barely tapping his chin. Next was a leg sweep that he jumped over, but didn't notice Lightning's hand covered in electricity again.
" Have a nice shock!" She told him as she slammed her hand onto the ground and next thing Leo knew was yellow electric bolts surrounding him like a pillar. The opal Pegasus flew away as suddenly the pillar closed in on the green eyed Pegasus making one large bolt produce and even cause a short earthquake. She turned back around to see her work and all she could do was wait for the results.
" Lightning fail." Leo said from behind with his sword now back into a dagger and aimed at her neck. Before she could react Leo already swiped his blade across her back. She grunted at that and turned around ignoring the pain to try and attack again, but Leo already had a black and white orb in his hand and ready for her. Pressing it against her chest sent her flying back, but she quickly tried to recover with her shoes scrapping the ground. While doing this Leo threw his dagger at her and vanished in a white light. Time slowed again as he reappeared catching the dagger that would of impaled her. Lightning's sliding also came to a halt while at the same time a another rainbow orb formed in place of the three edged dagger.
" I knew it. She always needs help."
Right before Leo could make a second attack that would of ended Lightning he teleported back into a distance before someone slammed down to the ground with force that even made Lightning fall back onto the hard ground. Leo was now ticked off now that he had a second opponent to take out, but as the dust began to clear his eyes widened in shock.
" No. It can't be already." He thought to himself not believing who he was seeing now opposing the Elements of Harmony. It was one of their own, Pinkie Pie standing in their robes only hers was pink ( obviously) and she had a wide smile on her face. The pink Equestrian turned back to Lightning Dust with an even wider smile, but what she said sounded something she wouldn't say.
" Wow Lightning. You got beaten twice in one day, you really do suck." She said proudly. She then turned back Leo who still couldn't shake off that he was facing the person he failed to save.
" No way, how?" He told himself. Pinkie Pie held her hand out as a glow began to come form in her hand which he didn't expect to see. In the Equestrian girl's hand was three different colored balloons shining in his face and this even made Lightning Dust gasped.
" We got one." She muttered. Pinkie Pie giggled and the crystal shattered into her grasp meaning one thing.
" Damn it. Nightmare Moon. At this rate..." Leo didn't continue. Instead he only stood and stared at Pinkie Pie for a brief moment.
" Heroes one, bad guys zip." She said. Good guys? Leo couldn't decide rather Pinkie landed on her head or she got corrupted cause she should tell by looking. Heck names or memories of.
Memories.
Leo concluded that it must of been altered somehow. He couldn't let neither of them escape, mainly Pinkie Pie.
" I don't like saying this, but do you mind killing this welp for me." Lightning Dust asked.
" Welp? Whose the one that didn't stand a chance since the very beginning of this war?" Leo asked. He was surprised to see that Pinkie Pie nodded to this. However Lightning Dust only scoffed and walked away. Once she was gone Pinkie Pie folded her arms and now her happy expression turned into a ruthless stare and her blue eyes changing red. Along with this her hair turned straight and from her sleeve was none other than a regular knife poking out. Leo didn't like this one bit and he didn't want to know where this was going to head at this point.
" I couldn't show this to any of my friends, they'd fear me and fear is the last thing on my mind." Pinkie Pie spoke. He had no choice, but to fight now. Pinkie Pie's abilities were unknown even to Celestia so he was aware of getting some surprises. All of sudden things already weirder as Pinkie's body seemed like it was disoriented. Suddenly she dashed towards him and before Leo could do anything she was already behind him with her knife out and covered in blood.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Crusaders who just not moments ago defeated Merciless, were out of Canterlot and now out into another large town which they learned was called Dexlon and so far nothing seemed out of the ordinary to them, more peaceful then what the last town was like. There was life, no monsters, and absolutely no types of chaos at all. This came to their relief now that they could rest their muscles and Sweetie Belle could begin to rest and restore her magic while she could. For now they were only wandering around hoping at one point they find a crystal to give to Celestia and secure it. To their dismay it was no dice for them at all. Scootaloo groaned and placed her hands behind her head as she began to think.
" It's probably not hear, maybe we should travel a little further." Sweetie Belle suggested. Scootaloo looked at her with a stern look on her face that made her nervous.
" No, we'll stay here till your magic comes back. We need it if were going to have the world remember the Crystal Crusaders." Sweetie Belle didn't protest, she just turned away as they continued walking aimlessly now. For a few minutes of walking they suddenly noticed at a distance, a tall building that towered over the rest that they saw. It was pointed at the top and just from a far distance, they saw it was heavily defended by Unicorns and Pegasai Equestrians. Scootaloo was first to question aloud what that building was and got their answer.
" Why it is the Citadel. A place that governs this city and is a worldwide army." An accented voice spoke behind them. The Crusaders turned around to see a light brown Equestrian with short brown hair, and was a darker brown patch of fur around his right eye.
" Pipsqueak?" Scootaloo asked. Pipsqueak nodded and smiled widely at them. He wore a black hoodie with basic jeans, along with that he wore blue goggles over forehead.
" Its been a while, I thought I'd never see ya again." Scootaloo tried to smile, but being in a race again the enemy is just too much to do so. Instead she looked back at Citadel again, but Pipsqueak spoke again breaking her view from it.
" So, what brings you here? I'm aware of the whole Goddess conflict, but nothing goes through Dexlon no matter if it's those pesky Behemoths. I killed one once, tough creatures." All of the Crusaders looked him not able to believe what they just heard.
" You actually defeated one them tough beasts?" Applebloom asked. Pipsqueak chuckled at their reaction, but nodded. He told them they were as easy as taking out a silver wolf in the open. Part of Scootaloo thought that he was lying since you needed to team to take out a beast like that, but anything was possible according to her hanging out Rainbow Dash so much. Applebloom began to notice a red dot appear on Scootaloo's chest. With instinct she pushed her out of it's way and made a wince as she felt a burning sensation on her lower arm. Scootaloo regained her balance and was about to shout at her, but a sight of blood dripping from her arm stopped her. Next thing she saw a small hole in the ground and to her guess was the object that would of struck her.
" Applebloom! Are you alright!" Sweetie Belle asked as she got her magic ready. However Applebloom waved her away.
" Nothin' I can't handle. Scootaloo probably would of been worse if I didn't push her." Applebloom replied as she held her bleeding arm. " Besides I've been bitten lots of times, this isn't different."
" Sure doesn't look a bi-" Pipsqueak was cut off when they heard screaming. Him and the Crusaders ran out to where the screaming was located which was close. Out in the open of the busy city was a large aircraft hovering over and attacking civilians. For a minute Applebloom was about to hold her hand out, but it was the wrong one which made her arm burst with pain making her scream.
" That does it, you need help." Sweetie Belle said as she grabbed Applebloom's good arm and pulled her away to safety.

" Okay, have any ideas?" Scootaloo asked Pipsqueak as the aircraft came to a stop in front of them and suddenly a large cannon emerged from below it and took aim towards them.
" Wish I knew, but I'll be sure to leave some hits for your friends." He replied happily. Scootaloo groaned at that responses as her sword appears in her hand. She placed it over her should and gave a gesture towards the aircraft to attack her.
" Come on." She provoked. She saw a yellow light glow from the inside the cannon which was a perfect warning for getting out of the way for her. She grabbed Pipsqueak's arm and with speed no one thought she'd had, she was able to hover fast enough before the cannon fired and causing destruction all around the area and even left a crater in the ground to Sweetie Belle and Applebloom's shock.
" Holy cow that packs a mean punch." Applebloom said. Sweetie Belle ignored the scene and placed her hand over Applebloom's wound and a green light began to force.
" This should be quick as long as no one finds us." Sweetie Belle assured. Back with Scootaloo and Pipsqueak they landed back on the ground and noticed the cannon was now gone now. Scootaloo laughed and stuck her tongue out towards the aircraft until suddenly multiple missiles were launched towards them. This time Scootaloo and the brown Equestrian scrambled around and dodged the missiles only to learn that they only stuck to the ground and made slow beeping noises. Scootaloo wasn't aware though that this was dangerous as well as Pipsqueak. Pipsqueak held his hand out as a light made the shape of an object and it was revealed to be a light brown boomerang with a sun symbol at the edge. He threw it towards the aircraft and began to control where it was heading with his arm. He swiped it in horizontal direction and it made it's way to the head of the aircraft and once it made contact it made a small explosion and came out all together.
" Have another." Pipsqueak shouted as he swiped his hand again and this time the boomerang came back and struck again making another small explosion. His boomerang came back in his grasp and he groaned as he saw the little damage he just did.
" Let me show you how it's done." Scootaloo told him as she was about to fly. However as they forgot about the missiles that began to make beeping sounds faster then it started and finally: BOOM . Their screams were heard which came to Applebloom and Sweetie Belle's ears that twitched as hearing their leader fallen. Luckily Applebloom's arm was healed well enough for her to at least reach for something. She rush out first, jumping over the crater and now facing the aircraft with her double bladed spear in her hand.
" All of you that pilot that thing will squirm once I'm through with ya." Applebloom threatened. Suddenly the same cannon appeared from below it and aimed at the redhead Equestrian. Applebloom got in a defensive stance with her spear and scoffed, " Give it your best shot." The cannon was fired and the same destruction formed last time was done again, but only this time it wasn't as destructive. The smoke clears and it reveals that Applebloom is now standing on a small circle of a surface. She was about to counterattack, but she saw a figure zip through the aircraft and in that instant, it began to fall and crashed into a building and exploded making it topple onto it. Confusion was all over Applebloom until coming from the smoke was a figure wearing a pink cloak and what confused Applebloom the most was that her body looked disoriented for a moment. She got her spear ready in case she attacked. " Who are you?"
The figure only giggles and the way it sounded made Applebloom's blood run cold. A knife poked out of the sleeve with dried blood and she held it up at the ready.
Soundtrack change: Dark Impetus
The figure dashed at Applebloom to reveal herself clearly to her and to Applebloom's shock, she found out it was none other than Pinkie Pie. This made an opening for the pink Equestrian to kick her to her stomach which knocked the wind out of the teenager. Along with this Pinkie Pie jumped over Applebloom's head while grabbing onto her shirt then threw her to into the crater that was made around her. Pinkie jumped in as well as and smiled widely as Applebloom slowly stood up. She was gasping for air as if she just lost her lungs.
" Come on, I barely did anything to you yet. Besides, I have to kill you three cause you'll just cause a problem for all of us." Pinkie told her. Applebloom ran towards her and thrust her spear at Pinkie's chest only to go right through her. " Ouch, so close, but you have to do better than that." Applebloom tried again, but this time Pinkie Pie dodged with a spin. " Ole." She ranted. She wasn't aware though when Scootaloo came from behind with her body nearly looking as if she was abused and with two blades in her grasp tried to attack Pinkie Pie herself and Pinkie turned at the last second, " Uh oh. You got me!" Unfortunately Scootaloo went right through Pinkie Pie and she continued to rant, " Oh, you didn't? Bummer."
" They probably haven't but I did." From behind a brown cloaked figure with glowing yellow eyes grabbed Pinkie Pie by her head and threw her out of the crater and jumped out after her leaving confused Crusaders. As the figure landed, Pinkie was already dusting herself off till looking at who attacked her. The cloaked figure removed it's hood and now revealed to be none other than Zecora. Pinkie Pie growled as he hair turned straight, but her eye color stayed the same.
" There are always more and more pests getting in my way!" Pinkie Pie shouted. Zecora was silent for a moment until she rolled one of her sleeves revealing what she showed Max a while ago on her arm, two different eyes on her forearm . One was purple with a wolf as it's pupil and the other was green with the pupil shaped as wind. Pinkie ran towards Zecora with her body now disoriented while she ran, but Zecora made a reach for her and to Pinkie's shock, grabbed her wrist and her body turned back to it's normal state. " N-no way. Impossible! As long as I'm in that state nothing can touch me!" Pinkie screamed. Zecora smirked at her reaction and merely threw Pinkie Pie in the air above her along with holding her arm up.
" Too bad you sealed your own fate." She said as a spell began to produce from her hand, but suddenly she was stopped when Scootaloo tackled Zecora to the ground making the Pink Equestrian land on solid ground. She began to slowly stand up while coughing and looked at Zecora weakly. However she passed out and vanished into black smoke. Scootaloo got off of Zecora and took some deep breaths before she yelled at her.
" DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU WERE ATTACKING!!! THAT WAS PINKIE PIE! I DON'T KNOW WHY SHE'S ATTACKING US, BUT WE WILL SAVE HER YOU HEAR?!!!" She screamed. The zebra merely stood up and before anyone knew it, she punched the orange Pegasus in the stomach with so much force she was sent flying back into Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. Zecora scoffed and looked up in the sky as she began to talk again.
" Equestria is diseased down to the core. Chaos is reigning everywhere and no one can stop it. The being behind this is transcended even past my capabilities. I can't save no one and now there is only one way to end this." Zecora began. Sweetie Belle was too busy healing Scootaloo to even ask what she meant till the answer came out herself. " Total Annihilation. DoomsDay." The Crusader's eyes widened at this. Sweetie Belle was first to speak while still healing Scootaloo who was in to much pain to speak.

" Your giving up by destroying everything? That's insane! That's as cowardly then running away!"
" I don't have a choice. I either let the world suffer by the chaos or just end this pain." Zecora replied.
" Really and just how?" Applebloom asked. Zecora stared at them with a small grin on their face as she used actions to answer their question. A white light surrounded her and suddenly wind blew to the point it was strong as a tornado, but the Crusaders were somehow able to stay in their spots ( Scootaloo was almost blown away since she was near dead weight, but Sweetie Belle caught her). The wind died out and the area around them was nearly a wasteland now thanks to the wind. The Crusaders open their eyes and the sight was a completely new Zecora. Her body was all new as he skin was brightly white as holy light itself, but her long black hair flowed as it disturbed the white color. Next was her eyes that glowed yellow just like last time and the eyes on her arm was what renewed her normal body, one arm was green with wind around it shaped as a large sword and the other was purple with a large double bladed sword and the armor around her body was black and white striped. She was hovering a few feet in the air with new produced wings on her back which one was purple and shaped as a dragon's wing and a white wing shaped as an angel's wing.
" You know nothing about me. Ever since I was in the Everfree Forest, I was gifted of a power of a god ten-fold. Normally, I would just go on without a trace and face the threat myself, but..." Zecora paused, her voice no long had it's accent and it was doubled as she spoke. " This is the only way. My name is Ragnorak and this world shall be saved by destruction itself." Zecora told them. Scootaloo began to stand with her sword in her grasp. Although she wasn't completely healed, she still had the will to keep going.
" That is completely wrong and just stupid. Why destroy everything that Celestia and Luna put effort into making. I won't allow this." Scootaloo told Ragnorak. Ragnorak was now silent which, now annoyed Scootaloo. " Fine, we'll just stop you by force!" Sweetie Belle and Applebloom got ready as they now stood in front of a godlike being. Scootaloo ran towards her along with Applebloom while Sweetie Belle got a spell ready to cast at Ragnorak.
Unfortunately, she already vanished when Scootaloo got ready to swing her sword and reappeared behind the orange Pegasus. Ragnorak was about to swing one of her swords, but Applebloom came from behind and thrust her spear which Ragnorak blocked without looking.
" Pathetic." She turned around and swung her other blade towards the redheaded cowgirl. She barely blocked the strike with her spear, but the godlike being used her wind sword which made a large tornado from her swing which launched Applebloom in the air. Luckily, Sweetie Belle used her natural power to levitate and control her and safety brought her back to safety. " Why resist? You don't stand a chance either way." Ragnorak taunted. Sweetie Belle growled and her hands began to flare with magic.
" I'm getting sick of you!" She shouted as she began to cast random element spells which left explosion after explosion of different elements, but it still wasn't enough to the Crystal Crusader's shock. Scootaloo had a second sword appear in her hand and this time jumped in the air with both swords over her head and swung them down towards Ragnorak. She merely used her purple sword to block this time and when they clashed, the sword glowed.
" Chaos will continue if I don't do what's right." With those words Ragnorak pushed Scootaloo back who spread her wings and hovered over her. That was a big mistake, to her shock a gust of wind was blow towards her and before Scootaloo knew it, she was caught into a tornado and launched with it. Not only was she caught in it, but some of the debris around them were caught as well and mixed with the tornado and ripped Scootaloo to shreds. Her screams were heard from inside the tornado which triggered a sudden adrenaline inside Applebloom. She rushed toward Ragnorak herself and relentlessly swung and thrust her spear only for it to be dodged or blocked.
" YOUR GONNA SQUIRM!" She shouted as she spun her spear and it made it's way towards Ragnorak's face, but it bounced off and next thing Applebloom knew, she was struck across her chest with the purple blade and fell to the ground with a horrible gash on her shoulder down to her abdomen. Sweetie Belle was all that was left now and she was already intimidated by what just happened. There was a thud and to her horror, it was Scootaloo's body that was filled with cuts and blood. She tried one more time to cast a spell, but this one was new that none of her friends knew of. A gem appeared in her hand and she pressed it down into the ground with her hands glowing a purple aura.
" I'll show you!" Ragnorak looked down and noticed her legs were becoming in contact with a large gem below her and it began to consume her body. She looked back at Sweetie Belle and saw the fear in her eyes although she had her in a trap. She scoffed merely vanished in a white light, reappearing behind Sweetie Belle with a raise of her purple blade.
" Find peace in the embrace of the Gods." Ragnorak praised as she brought her sword down. Suddenly, her sword was knocked away by a boomerang which also gave a quick shock of electricity in her body making her grimace. The boomerang came back to it's owner to be Pipsqueak who suddenly had a look of fear on his face at the god-like figure in front of him. However, Sweetie Belle really mattered right now.
" GET OUT OF THE WAY!" He shouted. Belle snapped out of her trance and began to run away with tears flowing in her eyes with Pipsqueak using his boomerang for covering attacks. Eventually she was in a safe distance, but her friends were still down and probably dying. Applebloom was still aware around her and breathing heavily as blood pooled around her body from the deadly hit, she's received lots of attacks for her friends, but this was beyond something she was ready for. You couldn't tell if blood was in her hair although the puddle was up to head and down her back. Scootaloo was in the worst shape. She couldn't move and she was slowly losing herself. She wasn't always the one to be a fighter through pain although she tries. This sort of pain she was going through though, was nothing she could ever take. She slowly opened her eyes and first thing she noticed was Ragnorak beginning to glow.
" I've had my fun with you. Unfortunately for me your DoomsDay has to be postponed. Make use of the time while it lasts." She told them as she suddenly vanished into a holy light. Pipsqueak sighed in relief while Sweetie Belle instantly cane to her team's aid. She decided to treat Scootaloo first since apparently, Applebloom could still get up, just barely though. Scootaloo felt like she was losing herself to the world being defeated so easily.
" Don't worry you'll be up before you know it." The white unicorn assured.
Twilight and Chrysalis
" Many less to worry about." Chrysalis said as she walked past falling human bodies with Twilight behind. The purple unicorn felt slightly intimidated at the dark magic she used on them and could tell it was a very slow and painful death. They were never aware that they shouldn't be killing them in the first place, but they happened to draw blood first. The child Chrysalis was merely thinking of this as ' returning the favor ' which involved harsh spells and poisons placed on them. As they walked around the ruins of the city Dexlon, Twilight suddenly noticed a red dot on Chrysalis's chest which made her react quickly by tackling her out the way while her brown robe took the hit with a hole on the lower portion. Along with this, Twilight was somehow able to pinpoint where the shot came from and while recovering used her magic to shoot a fireball towards a building that was strangely intact.
" And a one and a two and a thr-" Twilight's count was a split second short when she heard an explosion made from her spell which made the building crumble and topple to the ground. Twilight was sure there were no survivors for the moment so she helped Chrysalis up who dusted herself off as she stood.
" You could of warned me instead." The young Chrysalis told her.
" Too slow, It would of been better for me to just take care of the problem myself. Besides, I think I've already seen enough that you can't be trusted to use non-lethal spells." From saying that Chrysalis looked back at the crumble Twilight made from her non-lethal spell and looked back at the purple unicorn who looked sheepishly at her as she rubbed the back of her head. " Ok, I got carried away." She sighed. Suddenly Twilight was tackled by an unknown figure and they both rolled against the ground for a few seconds till Twilight teleported out of the figure's grasp. The figure was in a down stance as if it was crouching, but began to stand up with a wide smile from it's face. Next thing Twilight and Chrysalis notice was glowing red eyes and chains appearing from the sleeves of it's purple cloak. In a instant Twilight already knew who this was.

" Meroshia! Why are you here?" She demanded. The red eyed girl grinned as she stood straight and with a swipe of her hand a glow was made on Twilight's back which made the shape of purple angel wings of her back. Chrysalis gasped at the new change as well as Twilight, what was her biggest shock was that she controlled when her wings would pop up instead of her using it herself. Meroshia wasn't down though. Forming on her back was torn bat wings and instantly used them to hover from the ground.
" What are you waiting for? Use your flying skills and magic and please me." Meroshia said seductively. She dashed towards Chrysalis first and to their surprise, she went as such a speed that it looked like she went through her. The chains from her sleeve wrapped itself around the young changeling and trapped her leaving her completely helpless. From behind Meroshia had a purple fireball forming from her mouth and shot it towards her. Fortunately, Twilight was fast enough to form a barrier that absorbed the hit. The alicorn flew towards Meroshia with wind spiraling around her arm like a blade as she charged towards her. She swung the blade while her horn glowed, Meroshia released Chrysalis before she back flipped multiple times to even Twilight before she saw a flash of light form around her.
The red eyed girl winced. Behind her was Twilight who was now behind her with the blade through her back and out her stomach. Unfortunately though Meroshia's pain suddenly turned to pleasure and she moaned out which gave Twilight an uneasy feeling. Along with this she caressed Twilight's cheek which forced her to move away from her with a blush on her face. To Meroshia's dismay, the pain stopped.
" Aww, your no fun." She cooed. She ran towards Twilight with a high kick which connected with Twilight's jaw sending her in the air. Chrysalis used her insect wings to try and attack Meroshia herself, instead while she charged she was instantly thrown over her shoulder and back towards the pavement. She returned back to Twilight and elbowed her to the gut next and finally decided to end it by grabbing her head and slam her to the ground.
" At this rate, your more than dead. Completely damned." Meroshia insulted. She folded her arms while trying to think of something else insulting to say towards her. " You really are a disgrace to the word Harmony if that's all the power you wield, an Alicorn no less. Such a waste," She turned around as she got ready to fly away. " see ya." Meroshia vanished in a swift flash leaving the downed team. Twilight didn't want to believe anything she said. She didn't want to admit that Meroshia was more powerful then her, not in the situation that she was in right now. She knew what would happen if she were to lose.
Everything.
" Well, well. What have we here?" A figure spoke as it walked towards the girls.
