Nightmare

Celestia looked through the papers set in front of her, It was the usual nobles asking for more land, a higher rank and some were even love notes, though they only want power, occasionally there would one from a lower-class who would ask for food for their family or his village, It was work like this that made the world and your mind disappear.

Though try as she may, she could not forget the feeling she got last night, It was a feeling of dread, a strong one, she received something like that when her Luna turned into Nightmare Moon, but It wasn't as strong as last night's.

She shook her head and looked back at her paperwork, 'Another Noble requesting for more land to build his house' she sighed, sometimes she wished that they would realise that they weren't so high and mighty.

Suddenly a guard burst through the door, the guard was big and bulky had a red coat, red droopy mane that covered his left eye, and had a halberd with a golden blade on his flank.

"B-Burning Blaze, what mann-" "Shining Armour sent me here to fetch you princess" The guard, now known as Burning Blaze interrupted.

Celestia blink "I'm sorry, I'm currently busy" she said slowly, Blaze's eyebrows furrowed "He said It's urgent, and I must bring you to him at once" he insisted loudly.

Celestia was taken back, she gave a sigh and set down her papers "Very well, but this better be important" she stated firmly, to which Blaze replied with a huff.

When she arrived at the barracks, she noticed something odd, her usual stoic guards were slightly shivering but stood straight when she passed by.

Blaze opened the door to Shining Armour's office, It had a table which was litter with reports and a glass orb, the usual neat office was very messy weapons were thrown about the room, one of the chairs was on the ground, and the captain himself was pacing back and forth, his white coat was somehow paler and her muttering frantically.

"Captain, the princess is here" Blaze said loudly catching the attention of Unicorn he looked at the princess, his eyes were wide with fear "T-thank you Blaze, Y-you're dismissed" he stuttered, the guard nodding and stepped outside.

Celestia's eyebrows rise at the condition of the Captain, she scanned the office, then her eyes settled on the glass orb, something which wasn't supposed to be there, she then looked back at Shining Armour "You called for me?" she said slowly.

He gulped and gestured to the glass orb "We had two reports of murder in Canterlot, we found this at crime scene, I-I-It held a v-v- maybe you just see for yourself" he finished with a shudder, he then walked towards the glass orb and motion the princess to follow.

She walked to the glass orb, as soon as she was closed to It, and image started to swirl inside It, Shining Armour immediately closed his eyes with his hooves and dropped to the floor whimpering.

She looked into the orb, then an image of a cream pony with a rose-red mane appeared screaming in pain beside her was a torso of hairless pony violently yanking on his coat, then the image swirled again this time showing a caramel coloured pony with a chocolate mane looking out of his window to see his friend a blue stallion with a mane of a darker shade of blue hung outside his window, the the caramel pony looked at his bed which covers were slowly slipping off, then It swirled again showing close-up a horribly grotesque mint-green unicorn mare dancing on her hind hooves.

Celestia reeled back in horror, then the orb swirled one last time, slowly and showed a picture of a pony that looked exctly like Link except for the lack of eyes, then three words appear underneath the picture.

We Will Come

Then It vanished, and as soon as the picture vanished the orb cracked and then broke into millions of pieces.

"Is It over?" Celestia heard Shining Armour whimper, however Celestia couldn't respond, she herself was terrified to the bone, of the images and the three departing words.

Then a scroll appear infront of her in a flash of purple shaking her out of her trance, the scroll opened by itself and written in shaky letters were.
