For the last 400 years, the Thunder Colts, once one of Equestria's elite peace keeping forces, has been in sequestration. They suffered great losses after the Shadowkin War, a struggle now long forgotten. They removed themselves to a barren land just beyond the borders of Equestria to recover their strength. Long has been their convalescence, and as the centuries past, their magic has waned. But with the advent of of new princess, whose magic prowess almost exceeds that of the Sisters Princesses, the Thunder Colts take heed a prophecy given to them by a dying seer.
