Chapters Explanation
Rainbow Dash awoke in a daze "Ugh my head what happened?" she asked herself, as she got to her hooves. "RAINBOW DASH!!!!" Her face lite up and she knew exactly who that was "Twili" she started to say but was stopped when she noticed the angry expression on Twilight's face.
"Rainbow Dash what on Equestria are you doing here?" Twilight questioned. "Uh...I was TRYING to save YOUR flank!" Rainbow said in somewhat of a loud tone. "Wait, WHERE IS THE PORTAL ENTRANCE!" Twilight yelled "OH NO NO NO NONONONO" "twilight" " OH no this is bad very very bad!" "TWILIGHT!!!" rainbow dash yelled "WHAT!!!!" Twilight sparkle shot back which sent Rainbow Dash into a stupor at the tone of her unicorn friends voice.
" Could you pleas explain what the hey is going on!?" rainbow asked "Ugh fine" twilight sighed. "Since we might be stuck here longer than you or I can imagine anyway" Twilight huffed. "Wait WHAT!" Rainbow said shocked. "Oh my gosh Rainbow Dash do you ever pay attention to ANYTHING I say?" Twilight questioned. "ugh nope sorry don"t speak egghead...And what did you say anyway besides freaking out?" "Oh you know when I asked (wheres the portal) and then started freaking out, Cant you put 2 and 2 together Rainbow" So then why did the vortex portal thingy disappear anyway" Rainbow asked.
"Because...The portal was never made to support more than one sentient being at a time" Twilight said. "But wait why don't you just create another portal leading back to our dimension?" rainbow asked
"IF IT WASH THAT SIMPLE DON'T YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE ALREADY DONE THAT!!!" Twilight yelled. "Wait why are you getting all mad at me?How was I supposed to know, I heard a loud boom so I came to TRY to help a friend that could be in danger" Rainbow said with a confused look on her face.
"Bu but" Twilight sighed in defeat.rainbow was right their was no point in getting mad at her in the first place. Especially when she should have warned her friends about what she was planning on doing. "Well I better apologize" twilight thought to herself.
"Listen Rainbow dash I'm sorry for blaming this all on you. I mean after all how could you have possibly known. If anything it's my fault for not letting my friends know what i was doing" Twilight said in a apologetic tone.
"Ah don't sweat it Twi I would have probably done the same thing..Now how are going to get outta here?" Rainbow asked. "I I don't know" Twilight said sadly. "So are you saying we could literally be stuck here forever!" Rainbow Dash shouted hysterically.
"well technically we'll probably starve to death way before forever comes" Twilight said grimly. "What ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh NOOOO!!!! Bu bu I'm to young to die! I never even got to try out for the Wonderbolts yet!" Rainbow dash said growing more hysterical by the second.
"Rainbow Dash listen as long as we have each other and I have my magic theirs always away out. got it?" Twilight said with authority to her voice. "I guess your right...Besides I'm sure all our friends know by now and are trying to find us a way out" Dash said with a slight hint of relief.

Back in Equestria Spike just woke up from being knocked unconscious by the blast that took place earlier. As he looked around he saw books scattered all over the floor, and shelves completely knocked over. In all honesty it was lucky that the little dragon was even alive after such a catastrophic event. "Twilight!Twilight you here" the little dragon shouted. No answer. "I've got to contact princess Celestia right away" spike thought as he went scavenging around the library to find some ink, paper and a quill.
"Dear princess Celestia Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash have gone missing.
No more than 2 minutes after he sent the first letter he burped up a letter.
"Thank you spike. But you may be surprised to hear that
Spike stood their stunned, what did Celestia mean she already knew

Celestia was standing in Twilight's library with a blank look on her face staring at the other four pony's waiting for the inevitable question. When applejack finally broke the silence.
"With all due respect Celestia If ya knew what was going ta happen why didn't ya do anything ta stop it" Applejack said with a worried yet serious look on her face.
"Yea they both must be scared to death and think what kind of scary monsters could be in...whatever place they are in" Pinkie pie said in her usual party pony manner. "Trust me their are no monsters or anything of that sort where they are at" Celestia finally said in a calm manner.
"haven't any of you four noticed any...tension between Rainbow Dash and Twilight lately?" Celestia asked.
"Actually now that ya mention it those 2 have been arguing an awful lot lately" Applejack stated. "yea now that you bring it up those two have been fighting like a married couple" Rarity paused and then suddenly her face turned bright red "Wait you don't suppose those two.........like each other do you" Rarity cautiously stated. "Well of course they like each other silly we are all bestest friends after all" Pinkie said with a smile.
Rarity face hoofed and was just about to respond when Celestia interrupted. "That's not the point, the point is as elements of harmony you all have to get along and be harmonized. And with Rainbow and Twilight arguing all the time that could potentially make the elements of harmony weaker thus less affective" Princess Celestia stated.
"guess that makes sense" Applejack said. "So then um...did you send those two off to possibly um bond" Fluttershy timidly stated. "Yes..The whole point of this is to get those two to make up to each other which will intern strengthen their relationship" Said Celestia
"Then how do ya spose we get em back?" asked applejack. "Well I have already used my magic to track down what artificial dimension those two are in.So when the time comes i'll Just simply cast the spell and bring them back" Celestia calmly said. "Do not worry my little pony's when the time comes they will come back stronger than ever, With that I have some other matters to attend to" And with that Princess Celestia left with the same blinding light that she came with.
"Welp I sure hope the princess knows what she's doing" Apple jack said in a worried tone. "All we can do know is have faith in Celestia's words and hope for the best my dear" Rarity stated. "Well I spose you're right, the princess has never let us down before and I doubt she'll start now."

Back in the dark void of an unknown dimension twilight was exhausted by the sheer amount of magic she had used trying to open up another portal. "In the name of Celestia this is impossible!" Twilight said barely able to catch her breath. "Oh man I swear you had it that time twilight" Rainbow said "I honestly did to but it's almost if some outside presence is keeping me from casting the spell" "sure whatever say Twilight I think I'm going to go do some flying I haven't flew for days" Rainbow sheepishly said "Rainbow it's only been like 3 hours tops" Twilight said in an annoyed tone. "So what it FEELS like FOREVER." Rainbow dash said impatiently. "Dash if you knew what forever felt like you wouldn't be talking that way" for dash that was the last straw she took one deep breath crouched down put her rump in the air and blasted off with such incredible force it sent twilight flying."RAINBOW DASH COME BACK"Twilight yelled at the top of her lungs but it was no use, the hot headed Pegasus was long gone. "fool' was all twilight said before she layed down on the ground to get a well needed rest.
As Rainbow Dash was flying through the dark void of nothingness, she was looking for any signs of life whats so ever. Nothing, their was no signs of life except for her and Twilight.
"Wait Twilight, Where is twilight" she thought aloud.
"TWILIGHT TWILIGHT!" she yelled but to no avail, their were no answers, Just the sound of an eerie breeze that somehow managed to sweep across the desolate land of despair. "Wait" she thought, If I could pull Off a sonic rain boom in here that might let twilight know where I am" She thought with a last glimmer of hope.
With that last encouraging thought she soared as high up into the darkness as she could possibly go, Spread her wings and with a hard thrust was sent rocketing towards the ground. As she flew faster her eyes started to tear up and a small mach cone started to form around her body. "Just a little more, COME ON!" she grunted as she was approaching the apex of her speed. Just as she thought she had it she paused in mid air and like a sling shot was propelled backwards with incredible force. "nonononono NO!" she yelped as she hit the ground with a bone shattering impact.
As she hit the ground she felt her wing crunch under her and knew right away that she wouldn't be doing any flying for a quite some time.
As she lay on the ground wavering between consciousness and unconsciousness she whispered one final phrase.
"Dash, Dash. Come on Rainbow Dash wake up" Ugh come on just 5....more...minutes. "No Rainbow you have got to wake up. come on mom I don't have school today. "Wait what" she heard an unknown voice say.
"Come on Dash, stay with me."
"UGHHHHH I don't want to stay with anyone..........I..........Just..........Want.......To......sleep" Dash muttered.
"Fine Rainbow Dash you asked for it" "SLAP" "OUCH WHAT THE HELL!!!" Dash yelled. "Wait TWILIGHT" Dash said in surprise. "Oh thank Celestia your alright, I thought I lost you!" And with that Twilight wrapped her hooves around Dash and embraced her for all she was worth.
"Okay okay I get it your glad you found me" Dash said as she felt a slight blush start to come over her.
"No rainbow dash you just don't get it, I thought you were DEAD!" As tears started to fall from the purples unicorns violet eyes.
"Okay okay Twilight just PLEAS enough with the drama geez, Besides in case you haven't notices my wing here is completely messed up, man is Pinkie Pie starting to rub off on you" As Dash said that she half expected Pinkie to somehow tear through the fabric of time and space and find them, but that thought was quickly replaced when a shot of pain went shooting though her right wing causing her to winch in pain. "AH" she yelped as her wing continued to throb.
"Dash are you alright" Twilight asked in a concerned tone.
"ugh yea just a minor scrape" Dash responded.
"uh Dash I think theirs more to it than just that, here let me take a look at it" Said twilight.
"Ugh...Fine go ahead just be careful pegasi hate it when other ponies touch their wings" exclaimed dash.
"Don't worry I will" Twilight said in a compassionate tone. When Twilight went around to Dashes left side she was surprised at what she saw. Dashes normally straight wing was bent completely to the side. "Hey Dash" Twilight said
"y yea " dash responded preparing for the bad news she was expecting to hear from Twilight. "This might hurt a little" With that Twilight took Rainbow Dashes wing quickly popped it back to it's right location.
"AH WHAT THE BUCK TWILIGHT" Dash yelled as a surge of pain went shooting through her wing. "There you go good as new although I wouldn't do any extreme flying for a little wile" Twilight said
"like I said you might want to take it easy for a while" Twilight responded. "Yea I guess your right" Dash said as she slowly got up and stretched.
"Say Twi how did you find me in the first place" Dash asked
"Well It wasn't that hard when I saw a rainbow trail streaking against a pitch black sky and then saw that rainbow stream plummet to the ground. "
I..I guess But why didn't you just yell" Dash asked "I did it's Just that you were flying so fast that you didn't hear me" Twilight responded.
"Well I'm Exhausted twi" I think I'm going to hit the hey." Rainbow said as she yawned and started to lay down on the ground. "Wait Dash" Twilight started to say but was interrupted by Dashes snoring. Twilight just smiled as she also laid down and drifted into a deep sleep.

Well that's it for this chapter folks. Next chapter I'm going to try to go a little into dashes past and whatnot.
Day 2/ The nightmare
Dash woke up in what appeared to be an alley way that lead into the dark inner streets of Cloudsdale.
"Mom, Dad, Anypony" Filly Dash said as she slowly began to walk through the dark alley. When out of seemingly nowhere she heard a laugh, No not a Pinkie Pie laugh their was....something about this laugh that was different, and the very sound of it shook Dash to the very fiber of her being.
"mwahahaha FUCKING BITCH, DIE" She heard off in the distance.
"M-m-Mom" she muttered softly. "MOM ARE YOU ALRIGHT" She yelled as she ran towards the sickly commotion that was before her. When she got to the end of the alley way she peaked around the corner of an old abandoned building, What she saw next would scar her for life. She saw both of her parents laying face down in a puddle of their own blood their intestines spilled all over the ground, and their bodies mutilated beyond recognition.
As she watched, the figure she saw started to slowly turn around. When she saw the face hear heart nearly stopped. It was a pink mare with long straight hair and eyes that seemed to glare into her very soul. All of a sudden Dashes sorrow turned into burning rage. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SHE!" She yelled unleashing all of her rage.
The pink mare once again started to laugh, then stopped and looked dash right in the eye and said.
"HA What does it look like you little shit! I killed them! I watched them both as the BEGGED FOR MERCY! HA! Their screams turned me on in ways I can't even describe!" The pink mare boasted with an maniacal grin upon her blood coated face.
Dash was froze in place, Her legs were trembling with fear. The harder she tried to move the harder it seemed to be to move.
"Nightmares" She thought "this is just.....TO REAL!" She whimpered out loud, as should would give ANYTHING to wake up in her nice warm bed with her mother there comforting her from the horrible reality she was now faced with.
"HAHAHA!!! Don't worry kid, You'll be joining your parent's shortly." She heard breaking her train of thought.
That's when it hit her. She had to get out of their fast!
"Where do you think YOUR going" The pink killer hissed.
"No please I don't wanna die!" filly Dash begged with tears streaming down her cyan face.
"That's it, beg you pathetic excuses for a Pegasus!" The crazed mare bellowed.
"O o Okay sure I'll do anything, ANYTHING. Just pleas pleas pleas Don't kill me!" The terrified Pegasus screamed.
Time seemed to slow down as she saw the knife getting closer and closer to her neck.

She sat up... Tears rolling down her face.
"No No PLEAS MAKE IT STOP" Dash began yelling
"Oh in the name of Celestia make it GO AWAY!" Dash continued yelling
"Rainbow Dash! Rainbow Dash come on you have got to snap out of it!"
"Twi Twilight is that you" Dash questioned.
"Yes, Yes it is, now come on and SNAP OUT OF IT! it was just a dream!" Twilight yelled.
"No no you cant be real. Everything was just to.....real." Rainbow Dash exclaimed in a dazed state.
"Yes, Yes Rainbow Dash I am real, Just please SNAP OUT OF IT!" Twilight continued to scream.
"No no I saw them them they were both murdered.......I WAS MURDERED!" Dash said counting to sob.
"Rainbow Dash whatever you saw in your dream is gone now just please come back to me." Twilight said as she put her hooves around Dash and embraced her.
"Twi Twilight...I'm sorry...So......So...sorry." Dash said as she returned the gesture.
"Sorry for what dash?" Twilight questioned.
"Sorry for everything, sorry for always calling you an egghead, sorry for always crashing into your house after trying a new stunt. Just..Sorry." Dash whispered into Twilight's ear.
"Dash listen you don't have to be sorry for anything. Especially for who you are!."
"That's just it Twilight, That's not who I truly am."
"Wha what are you trying to say dash.?"
Dash sighed. "What would it feel like twilight, If being the best was the only thing you had to look forward to in life.
Day 3/Final Resolve
" being the best was the only thing you had to look forward to in life. " Twilight questioned wondering what in Equestira Dash was talking about.
"Dash what are you..." "SHUT UP!" Dash shouted before Twilight had a chance to finish. "Somepony like you that has always had everything gave to you on a silver platter would NEVER understand what I have gone through!" Dash burst out as she slowly broke down into tears.
"Dash you just said that that isn't who you truly are but if that's the case....then just why are you?" Twilight questioned
"Listen Dash...know one expects you to! it's all in your head just...learn to be yourself....”

“wow” spike thought to himself “That sure came out of nowhere!” spike said as he reached down to pick up the letter. “Man I wonder what the princess could possibly want” spike though to himself as he slowly unrolled the brown paper letter and started to read aloud.
“Dear spike It has come to my attention that
Celestia
“Yes finally!” Spike thought to himself, Although it had only been roughly three days since Twilight”s departure spike was more than glad to hear that Twilight would be returning soon, mostly due to the fact that he was getting tired of trying to take care of everything by himself, even though the library wasn't particularity busy over the last three days it was still more than the little dragon cared to mange by himself.
“Man,who should I go to first?” Spike thought aloud, “I know, Rarity!” Spike reasoned, well mostly because he had a huge crush on Rarity, But the boutique just so happened to be the closet to the library anyway.

Back in the void of darkness Rainbow Dash was awe struck by what Twilight has said.....”Learn to be myself” Dash slowly pondered at the idea and to be honest she had no idea what Twilight was getting at
Twilight just stared at Dash with confusion. To Twilight this made no sense whatsoever...”How could anypony be on the edge of despair one moment and then just randomly burst into hysterical laughter the next? “
“HAHA,oh come on Twi whats with that look?” Dash asked wiping a tear from her left eye.
“well, for one WHAT is so funny!?” Twilight said starting out in nearly a whisper and ending with a near bellow.
“Nothing” Dash said rather flatly But then blushed slightly before turning he head to the side and pawing her right forehoof at the dark ground beneath her and then returning her gaze to twilight with an even brighter blush confusing Twilight even more. “I ugh Just kinda think you're egg headynysh is um kinda cute I guess” Dash finished her voice barley above a whisper as she slowly leaned forward and gave Twilight a quick peck on the cheek
Twilight stunned by the event that had just happened to her nearly jumped and fell backward in surprise. “Wha tha bu...WHAT THE HAY WAS THAT FOR!” Twilight finally managed to scream out still half dazed.
“What do you mean Twi? You told be to learn to be myself...So that's what I did” Dash said sounding rather proud of herself for taking Twilight's advice.
“Wait wait wait...So then what you're telling me is that, you like mares” Twilight asked still quite puzzled by the turn of events that had recently taken place.
“Well, not mares as in more than one. But the one standing in front of me right now....yes.” Dash said still feeling a little embarrassment at what she had just done.
Back in Ponyville spike had just finished telling the rest of the 4 about the letter and was walking back to the library with them when they heard a distinct buzzing sound that seemed to be growing closer with every send that passed, when all of a sudden “SWOOSH” as they saw an orange blur go flying past them at break neck speeds and come to a sudden stop in front of them. The 5 started to cough as the dust slowly settled in front of them reveling non other than the orange Cutie mark crusader herself Scootaloo.
“Hey guys!” Scootalo greeted as she unbuckled her helmet and took it off.
“Uh...Hey Scootalo how ya doin” Applejack greeted In her usual southern accent .
Scootaloo frowned slightly “Alright..I guess, Saw have you seen Rainbow Dash around lately I usually Go watch her practice over sweet apple acres but I haven't seen her around lately” Scootalo said sounding slightly more concerned with each word.
Scootaloo looked at the four with confusion “Sure?” She said sounding confused.
“Oh dear, I guess we'll explain on the way then, but we better get moving soon if we don't want to be late” Rarity stated.
Back in the void of abyss Twilight was pacing back and forth trying to wrap her head around just what Rainbow Dash had done earlier, She just couldn’t figure it out. “In the past Dash never showed that kind of....er love for me so then why now” She asked her self still pacing back and forth.
“Uh hello earth to Twilight” Dash motioned waving a hoof in front of Twilight snout. “you in there?”
“Uh yea sure Rainbow Dash” Said Twilight half heartily.
“Jeez Twilight, What has gotten into you all of a sudden....I mean one moment your fine and now you're freaking out about a little kiss on the cheek!” Dash exclaimed Flying back and fourth in front of Twilight.
“Dash can I ask you something?” Twilight said as she stopped pacing and looked Dash straight In the eyes.
“Sure Twi...I mean you just did didn't you?” Dash said as she landed in front of Twilight.
“Rainbow Dash........How long have you had these, ugh feelings for me?” Twilight asked timidly as she continued to look Dash Straight in her magenta colored eyes.
Rainbow Dash all of a sudden felt her face start to heat up and she was sure Twilight would notice her face as her cheeks started to turn red. “Twilight, that was just a little pe-” Dash was interrupted by Twilight. “NO!” Yelled Twilight “I could see it in your eyes the moment you got close to me, so don't you DARE try to play it off as...er something else” Twilight finished
“Listen Twilight, I have always admired you, from the first day you showed up in Ponyville I....Just couldn’t help but feel happy when I was around you, I don't know why I have the feelings but I do, and from the way i'm feeling now I doubt that will ever change.” As dash felt her cheeks get even hotter.
“R-Rainbow Dash” Twilight said softly I-I Twilight gulped at what she was about to say....”I-I ADMIRE YOU TO!” Twilight blurted out before she could possibly think to stop herself.
“Y-you do1” Dash asked surprised.
Twilight walked over to Rainbow Dash and put her hooves around her and very lightly. “In fact Dash I would even go a step further and say” Twilight drew even closer to Dash’s ear and whispered “I love you dash”
Dash was taken back by this and actually outright surprised, She thought that Twilight might have had feeling for her buy “She loved her” Now it was dashes turn to wrap her mind around what she just heard. Dash slightly backed away from Twilight before leaning forward and embracing her with tears starting to forum in her eyes she whispered back “I love you to...egghead” And with that they both pulled slightly away from each other before they both stared at each other.
As they stared their lips started to get closer with each second that passed both of their minds at ease to know that whatever happened or had happened that they always have each other. As their lips were ALMOST touch
“Hey girls, OHHH I GET IT!” The part pony exclaimed pering out of a White and purple vortex. “So you two are like reallyreallyreallyreally close Friends!” Pinkie said in her normal hyper way.
“PINKIE HOW THE HAY DID YOU GET HERE!” Both Dash and Twilight shouted in unison.
“ahha so it's true you CAN break the fourth wall!” Dash screamed aloud....
“Don't be a silly filly Rainbow Dash” Pinkie Said with excitement in her voice “Celesta sent me hear to get you two...It's time to go home!”
Both Dash and Twilight sighed with a mixture of relief from finally being able to go home after...Celestia knows how long, and regret for not being able to finish their moment.
Author's Note
Well for the most part I'm done with this little fan fic of mine, Other than making a short Epilogue. Sorry it took so long to complete such a short story but I've been incredibly busy with other things! Hope you enjoyed it and I hope to be writing MUCH better and more thought out story's in the future.
It had been no more than a week since Dash and Twilight had returned from the Dark void of nothingness that Celestia had apparently set up herself in an effort to get Dash And Twilight closer. At first Twilight was actually angry at her mentor for putting them both through the fear of not knowing weather they would ever make it out of that void before they both starved to death or in Dash's case die of pure boardom, but Twilight soon came to realize that Celestia did in fact have a point and for the time being was just glad to be back in her library, even though she was only gone for no more than three days. In any case everything was almost to normal, especially after Twilight saw Dash's softer side and found out that she actually DID have feeling for her.

Dash was lying in her bed up in her cloud home trying to find sleep, but for some reason sleep just wouldn't come for the cyan Pegasus, for the harder she tried to fall asleep the more she thought of Twilight and the emotional events that took place just a few days before. "I would have thought things would have changed after those events, But apparently everything is just the same as it has always been" Dash thought to herself aloud. "well if I'm not going to sleep I should at least go stretch my wings" Dash said with a sigh as she got up of her bed and headed for the door.
Dash opened the door to her cloud home and took a step outside and with a spread of her wings was off into the darkness of Luna's night.
Dash then started to approach the familiar library that was home to non other than Twilight Sparkle.
As dash stood at the entrance to Twilight's library she felt a lump start to form in her throat, as doubt started to cross through her mind. “what will she think of me, will she hate me,” Dash thought as she got ready to knock On Twilight’s door. “well, here goes nothing” dash said aloud.
kncok,knock
As dash waited for the door to open, time seemed to nearly come to a stand still. “come on Twi, please answer” Dash thought to herself desperately as she continued waiting.
Finally dash heard the familiar rattle of the door knob as it started to twist, and finally the door swung open to reveal a tired looking purple mare.
“R-Rainbow Dash”
Twilight muttered softly as she wiped the sleep out of her eyes and yawned.
“Dash do you have any idea what time it is”
Twilight spat out with a hint of both anger and confusion.
“YEAAAA, sorry about that Twilight, i-it's just that we need to talk”
Twilight finally started to fully come to her senses and knew almost immediately what Dash wanted to talk about.
“Well you might as well come in” Twilight told Dash as she open the door wider as to allow Dash inside.
Rainbow walked inside the library as Twilight closed the door behind her, Twilight started to look for a candle to light the place, Since turning on the actual lights would more than likely prove to be bright enough to wake the baby dragon sleeping up in the loft by Twilight's bed. Twilight finally managed to find a candle and with a spark of her horn lite it with her magic.
“ Ok, I think I know what you want to talk about” Twilight said as she took a seat and a square table in the middle of the Library.
“Yea Twilight, I though that after what happened back in that Dimension thingy we was in would at least have changed things between us, but since we got out everything has completely gone back to normal”
Twilight smiles “Dash something HAS changed”
“What the hay are you talking about Twilight? Nothing has changes...since we got back we both just seemed to, oh I don't know, go our separate ways”
Twilight's smile grew wider and Dash thought that she started to see a slight blush form on Twilight's cheeks but couldn't quite tell die due to the color of Twilight's coat.
“Dash lean over here” Twilight said.
Now Dash was certain that Twilight was blushing.
As Dash leaned over the table Twilight planted a kiss right on Dash's lips.
“Dash” Twilight said
“what?” Dash responded back.
“I will always love you” Twilight responded back continuing to look Dash right in her beautiful magenta eyes.
The rest of the night continued on as both Dash and Twilight sat on the down stairs couch and talked, they talked about anything and everything, Twilight talked about some new spells she had been working on and Dash talked about various new aerial stunts she had been working on since the week they got back.
Just as Dash was about ready to bring up another topic she looked over and noticed that Twilight was sound asleep, Dash just smiled and wrapped her wing around her shoulder lean against her and fell asleep as well as she thought of all the fun times they would have together in their newly found relationship.
The accident
Rainbow Dash was headed over to Twilight Sparkle's to return some Daring-Do books she had borrowed a few months back. Just as she approached the library there was an earth-shaking "BOOOOM!!!" Once she heard the deafening sound she knew what she had to do. With a quick thrust of her wings she sped over to the library and bucked the door open. She went inside, struggling to see past the dense smoke and settling debris before her.
"Twilight? Twilight you in here?" she yelled frantically, trying to spot her purple friend. Now their have been many explosions at the library before. But something about this one just didn't feel right and was almost sending chills down Dashes spine, the longer she searched the more hopeless the situation started to seem. "Twilight Twilight you in her ANSWER ME EGGHEAD!!!" Dash screamed at the top of her lungs. But the effort was in vain, their was no sign of Twilight or even a clue as to where the purple mare could have gone. Just as dash thought she had searched everywhere a new thought crossed her mind. "The basement!" She yelled in excitement. As she headed for the stairway that lead down to Twilight's lower layers.
Rainbow dash flew down the stairs at blistering speeds. As she approached the door her heart started to pound a mile a minute with a strong sense of dread of what she would find on the other side. Was her friend alright? what would she find once she entered?...no none of that mattered now the only two words that came to mind now was "save Twilight" From whatever monster created this mess. With Incredible force Rainbow Dash smashed through the door and into the basement knocking her silly in the process. Once Rainbow fully recovered from the enormous impact and the smoke started to dissipate Rainbow discovered that Monster wasn't a monster at all but instead a single purple vortex spiraling in the center of the room. "Whats this" Rainbow Dash questioned to herself. Whatever it was she knew her Unicorn friend was more than likely inside. "as much as I'd like to get the other four, this thing could close up at any moment and who knows what type of trouble that egghead could be in in the mean time" Dash sat back and contemplated to herself for a second. "guess theirs no time to wait. Hold on Twilight HERE I COME!!!" and with that Rainbow Dash charged head first into the unknown without a second thought holding her down.
