One night while I was sleeping I heard a faint female voice in my dreams. It sounded faint and I couldn’t make out what it was saying so I asked

“What did you say?”

but I didn't get a response. This continued every night for a week. Each night the voice slowly became louder until I was finally able to understand what was being said.

“You need to gather five of your friends, once that is done I will contact you again.”

I decided to humor it. I contacted my friends and they told me that they were having the same dream. I told them to come to my house. When everyone was at my house we heard the voice again - but this time we were awake. The voice said that we did a good job and that was time for us to meet. A blinding light filled the room and instantly we were on our backs in the middle of a grassy field with six beautiful girls all about our age standing over us. Before I could ask anything a migraine hit me hard. Through the pain, I gathered my thoughts and asked

“Who are you and where are we?”

The purple haired girl said “You’re in Ponyville, and I’m Twilight Sparkle. I’m the one who summoned you here.”

We stood up and noticed that two of them were flying with majestic, angel-like wings. I looked behind me and saw that two of my friends had wings as well.

I asked “What the hell is going on here and how the hell do those girls have wings and are flying?!?”

Twilight started to explain, “The reason they have wings is that they are humans called angels. They are people who live in the clouds and have wings. I am a magic-caster. A human who was born with magic powers. Now I must ask - does anyone have a headache?”

Both me and my friend Ben raised our hands.

Then Twilight said “You two are also magic-casters.”

Pierce and Emory piped up and asked what they were. Twilight said that they were normal humans. This seemed disheartening to them but they got over it quickly.

Twilight looked at me and my friends, “What are your names?”

I said “My name's Christian, the one in the glasses is named Ben, the tall bulky one is named Pierce, the idiot with the red wings that's attempting to fly is Josh, the one thats encouraging Josh to fly is Emory, and the one that is still dumbfounded is Mike. Now my I ask what your names are?”

“Well you already know my name but I will repeat it if you didn’t get it the first time. My name is Twilight Sparkle. The one with pink hair who's hopping up and down with the big grin is Pinky Pie." Twilight turned to her right and pointed to one of the flying girls. "The one with the rainbow hair and blue wings is Rainbow Dash and the one hiding behind her with the pink hair and yellow wings is Fluttershy." Twilight then turned to the two girls on her left. "The cowgirl is Apple Jack and the one with purple hair and dressed as if she has an important date is Rarity.”

After that I asked “Why the hell did you bring us here and how do I get rid of this goddamn migraine?”

A strange purple aura enveloped Twilight's hand and she waved it in front of me and Ben. Just like that the migraines were gone.

“What did you do?” I asked.

Twilight responded “I just cast a simple spell, but to get back to your original question, my teacher Princess Celestia gave me a spell that can summon six powerful warriors from another universe.”

“Well that’s all fine and dandy but that still doesn't tell us why we’re here.” I said

“The reason I summoned you is that two of our most dangerous enemies have returned and we need your help.” Twilight said.

“Well don’t you think you should have asked us if we wanted to help?” Mike asked.

“Yes I should have but I was only able to speak to you for a short time and you could only hear me I couldn’t hear you. But if you don’t want to help I can send you all back.”

So me and my friends conversed among ourselves, and we decided to stay and help.

I turned back to Twilight. “We will stay and help. But I do have one more question. What's keeping our families from knowing that we're missing?”

“Don’t worry about that. The spell that Princess Celestia gave me also makes a copy of you and that copy goes on living your life. It ages just like you would normally, and when you go back home you will learn all the experiences they had and then they will just fade away.”

“So who are these enemies?” Emory asked.

“One is named Queen Chrysalis. She tried to take over Canterlot and marry my brother. She has an army of creatures called Changelings and they can look like anybody. The other is a man named King Sombra. He was an evil magic-caster who ruled over the Crystal Empire over a thousand years ago. He enslaved all the Crystal people. We thought he was destroyed but somehow Queen Chrysalis has resurrected him. Now he’s more powerful then ever and wants revenge for his destruction.”

“But why us?” Josh asked.

“Well we needed six people with a strong bond and a warrior's spirit and you six fit that description. My teacher said that they would have the elements of the warrior, but we have no idea what those elements are and even if we did we would have no idea which one of you had what.” Twilight said.

I asked “So what do we do now?”

“We need to go to the blacksmith.” said Twilight.

With that we headed towards town.

“Why are we going to the blacksmith?” Josh asked.

“Well to get you some weapons, honeybun." said AppleJack with a smile.

“But why do we need weapons?” Mike asked.

“Well ya'll, Queen Chrysalis is kidnappin' folks and her minions are changin' into them. King sombra takes their souls and puts them into crystals which turns them into mindless zombies. We tried to break the crystals with magic and not even the Princesses magic can break them, so then we tried some weapons and that broke the crystals just fine. That’s why we’re goin' to the blacksmith.” said AppleJack.

On the way to the blacksmith Ben and Twilight started talking.

“So you have no idea what these elements of the warrior powers are or which one of us has them?”

“Sadly, no we don’t.” said Twilight.

I chimed in and asked “ Do you know where we could find this information?”

“Well yes there’s a book in my library on it but I don’t know where it is.” Twilight responded.

“Well I guess when we’re done at the blacksmith we can go back to your place and look for the book.” said Ben

Before we knew it we were at the blacksmith's shop. When we got inside we were taken aback because weapons and molten steel were floating around the shop surrounded by a red aura. The girls weren't surprised at all.

“What do you want?” said a man in a gruff, raspy tone.

“We’re here to place an order.” said Twilight.

“Well out with it! What do you want?”

“I want twin scythes.” I said.

“I’d like a war axe.” said Pierce.

“I want a sword.” said Josh.

“I would like a war hammer.” said Ben.

“I would like claws.” said Emory.

“I would like twin sias.” said Mike

“That will be fifty bits. It will take me a few day to complete your order. I will deliver them to you when they're done. Where do you want them delivered?”

“My house will be fine.” said Twilight.

With that we headed to Twilight's house. I was expecting to see a normal house, so when we got there and I saw that she lived in an actual tree I was amazed. I was even more surprised when we went inside. The tree was huge and inside it was filled with thousands of books and there was a dragon working at organizing all of them.

Twilight called to the dragon. “Spike? Would you come here? I would like you to meet our new friends.”

“Ok” said the green dragon and he strolled over to meet us.

“So who are they?” asked Spike, gesturing to me and my friends.

We introduced ourselves to Spike. After that Twilight described the book that we were looking for to Spike and asked him if he might know where it was.

"Sorry, I don't know." was Spike's reply.

Twilight turned to the group, “Ok everyone let’s get searching.”

So we did. We looked high and low but we didn’t find the book. Before we knew it, it was midnight.

Rarity yawned and AppleJack was snoring lighting in the corner of the room.

“I think we should get some rest.” said Twilight. "I don't have room for everyone but each of us girls has a spare bedroom that we can share."

“Well anybody who goes with me will have to work, and work hard.” said Apple Jack.

Pierce said that he would go with Apple Jack. So that left me, Mike, Emory, Ben and Josh.

Then Rainbow Dash said “ Only an angel can sleep at my house.”

“Why?” Josh asked.

“Because only angels can live in the clouds.” she replied.

“Well then I guess I'll go with you.” said Josh. “My head's in the clouds most of the time anyways.”

So now that just left the four of us.

Then Rarity said “I would really like an angel to come with me because I really want to make clothes for them, and Rainbow Dash is always so busy.”

“But doesn’t Fluttershy live in the clouds too?” Mike asked.

“Oh no dear, she live on the outskirts of town in a cabin.”

“Ok then I guess I can go with you since I'm an angel." said Mike.

So now that just left me, Emory, and Ben. Seeing how Pinky bounced around the room when we were looking for the book I thought Emory would be a good fit. I figured he could keep up with her.

“Hey Emory I think you’re the only one of the three of us that can handle Pinky.” I said.

Emory looked over at Pinky and saw that she was jumping with excitement. He looked back at me and said " Yeah, I think you’re right. I guess I can go with Pinky Pie.”

“I think I should stay here” said Ben. “I would really like to know how we got these magic powers, and seeing how Twilight is so smart, we could run some experiments and I could help her look for the book with the information that we need.”

I nodded. “Ok. I guess that means that I will go with you Fluttershy.”

Not that I’m complaining. She was a very beautiful girl.

She smiled at me with hesitation and said in a whisper “Ok.”

We left and went our separate ways.
