You groggily awaken to the faint sound of birds chirping outside your window. You slowly open your eyes, careful not to blind yourself with the morning sunlight seeping through the blinds. You twist your head to the side and face the alarm clock you keep on the nightstand by your bed.
"Crap, it's only eight..." You say, too tired to open your mouth completely. After a grunt, you flip yourself over and try to go back to sleep.... Still being fully conscious, you are literally feeling the minutes pass by as you fruitlessly try to fall back to sleep. You fling your eyes back open and swing your head back to your clock. Eight o one. Not having even one bit of tired left in you, it seems you'll be staying awake for the remainder of the day, so you throw your sheets off of yourself in halfhearted anger.
You look around the room. On your nightstand sits both the alarm clock and your yellow painted lamp with its purple shade (You didn't pick the color, it was a gift. You haven't even plugged it in yet) and next to that is the plate of half eaten lasagna you'd had last night. The room is relatively blank save for your bed, the nightstand, and your television at the foot of your bed. The room is painted a dull greyish color and has very perceptible streaks traveling lengthwise across your walls; you regret hiring someone to paint for you every time you see these streaks. But you were still kind enough to pay the men in full, though they obviously didn't deserve it.
You crawl out of your bed and let your black bed sheets fall to the floor as you make your way to the bathroom. Inside, you are able to see your tooth brush that you'd left on the counter next to the sink, face down. Gross.... After lazily rinsing it off you apply your tooth paste and go to work on your teeth. You plan your day out as you usually do while you brush when something occurs to you.
"Wait, what's the date?" You stick your head out the door and look to your calendar hanging on the wall. "Oh... It's my birthday..." You turn back to the bathroom mirror and give a sarcastic 'woo hoo!' before you go back to brushing. Yes, it's true. Today is your birthday and you are now twenty three. Upon that note, you think back to when you turned twenty one and a couple buddies of yours decided to take you out drinking. You were so plastered by the end of the night that they ended up having to carry you back into your house. Waking up with a penis drawn on your face in permanent marker wasn't exactly funny.

You emerge from your bedroom about ten minutes later, fully clothed and ready to start the day. Although, you don't have a lot to do. You live alone and you don't really have anyone to visit or be with today. Your family all moved to different states and you decided that your friends were assholes. So, you're pretty much alone today.
"......Breakfast...." You mumble as you make your way to the kitchen. Just like your room, the kitchen is painted very sloppily in a terrible color, but you don't care because you haven't eaten yet. There's a box of cereal on top of your fridge which is quickly snatched and tossed onto the counter. Next, you go for the milk which is dangerously close to being completely empty, although to you it looks to be enough for this bowl. After poring the cereal into a glass bowl, you drown the flakes in milk and toss the container away. An old, silver spoon finishes off your morning masterpiece as you make your way to your living room.
Again, lazily painted, dull, grey walls. As you sit down on your dirty looking couch you switch on your flat screen and flip to the news channel.
"-and there were no surivors...." A female reporter said.
"Thank you, Stephanie." A male replied. "Later today, a story on a woman who claims that her pet squirrel has been talking to her." You happily change the channel and find yourself on a cop show. A criminal is being cuffed and thrown into the back of a squad car.
"WHAT DID I DO?!" He screamed through the door.
"Tell it to the judge!" An officer replied. He turned to face the camera. "Our suspect has CSHHHH in the back of his CSHHHH and it was shoved way up CSHHH-" Your television cuts in and out then eventually shuts off.
"What the hell?" You say through a mouthful of cereal. You're about to stand up when-
BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
You fling yourself back into your seat and end up spilling your cereal as a loud popping goes off. Sparks fly from the center of your room with no immediate source. Suddenly, a bright light appears where the sparks had been and you are blinded. You try to get back up off of the couch but the loud banging sends you back into your seat out of fear.
BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
A loud buzzing takes over and completely deafens you, rendering two of your most important senses useless. The bright light only seems to increase its intensity as you become twice as blind! Something you didn't think possible until now. You finally work up the courage to try and move yourself from your seat. A few more pops go off as you move yourself to the side of the couch that you think is further away from the mass of light and sound. A sizzle rips through the air as you begin to lift yourself off of the couch. It's hard to do evidently; suffering the blow to both your eyes and your ears has left you extremely weak. Once you are fully onto your feet the orb disappears.
Your vision slowly returns to you along with your hearing. You try to keep yourself from stumbling as you clench you hands to your ears in confusion and pain. Once you are able to see clearly again, you look around the room.
"I don't think anything was broken.... Man, what was that thing?! It looked like a big a-....." You freeze in both speech and movement. On the ground before you lies on its side an unconscious pony. Your first reaction is a loud cough, which sprays saliva about three feet in front of you. Though you don't get any on the sleeping equine at your feet. This is both very exciting and very confusing to you.
You've been a brony for about a year now and you love the show and everything but this is ridiculous! The pony looks to be a mare. Her coat is a light gold color and she has a golden mane and tail save for a thin blue streak down the right side of both. She just so happens to be sporting the colors of your favorite football team.
"That's so cool!" You whisper excitedly. You still haven't moved from that spot, but you decide that it wouldn't hurt to get a closer look. Your eyes travel down to her flank where you notice her cutie mark; it resembles a small grid with a very small red dot over one of the cross sections. A reticle hovers over the dot. You honestly have no idea what that means her talent is but you don't very much care because you have a pony in your living room! Making a quick scan of the extent of her body, you notice that she is barren of any wings, which makes you assume 'Earth pony'. A quick shuffle of her mane reveals otherwise. "A unicorn!!" You cheer in almost complete silence. "This is so cool!" Unicorns are your favorite pony type.
You stand there just looking at her for another minute or so when a terrifying thought crosses your mind. She hasn't moved at all since she's gotten here. You dive to her side and look to her chest. You aren't able to tell if she breathing or not just from looking at her, so you move on to her pulse. With your index and middle finger over where you think her jugular is, you feel for a pulse. There is nothing for a second or two when- Pump
"Ah, good...." You breathe a sigh of relief with you fingers still on her neck, just to be sure that it wasn't your mind playing tricks on you. Pump.... Pump.... Pump.... Yes, she is definitely alive. Pump.... Pump... Pump. Pump! PUMP!! PUMP!! *PUMP PUMP PUMP PUMP!!!***
You are confused as to why her heart beat increased so dramatically until you look back to her face. Her head is turned as far as it could go due to you being behind her and her eyes are wide open. You both stare at each other for a moment, then the mare is the first to speak.
"uuuuuuhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" You honestly hadn't expected that reaction. The mare jumps up shortly after you had flung yourself to the wall behind you. She frantically looks around the room for something while hyperventilating with an expression of horror on her face.
"Hey! It's alright!" You tell her as she ignores you, still looking for her unknown item. Her eyes finally lock on something and her horn begins to glow before she violently whips her head to the side. You manage to turn your head just enough to see your dictionary headed straight at your face wrapped in her blue aura.
You wake up for the second time today and the first thing you notice is that you are now tied down to a chair. It looks like she'd used a couple of rags from under your kitchen sink to tie your arms down. Your legs aren't suffering the same treatment and are able to freely move about as they wish. Next you notice that the gold and blue mare was pacing around your living room talking to herself.
"Ohh! Why did they send me here!?!" Her voice to you, sounds somewhat like Scootaloo's if she were fully grown. You aren't able to give a very accurate estimate, but from what you've seen on the show, you guess that this mare was around twenty years old. You think... The fact that she's pacing around and talking to herself isn't filling you with very much confidence. You've read a lot of fan fictions during your time as a brony and are not thinking very positively about this situation; she could spin around and chew your face off for all you know! "I told them I wasn't ready yet!! Why would they- AGH!!" She noticed that you were awake again. You again see her horn glow in its blue aura as she points her head to something at your side.
"OH NO WAIT!!" It was only a glimpse, but you're pretty sure that she just smacked you in the head with your atlas, which makes your dictionary look like a notepad. Again, your lights are out....
You awake yet again and see that the mare is now sitting on your couch. She looks terrified; her eyes are as wide as diner plates and you see that she is mumbling to herself. The words are barely intelligible, but you're able to make out a few.
"Gonna....... forever..... won't..... to leave...."
"Hey..." You say, still dizzy from being smacked in the head. The mare quickly swings her head to face you and puts her signature terrified expression back on. Without screaming this time, she points her horn to something on the other side of the room. You know what's coming this time...
The giant atlas from earlier comes sailing at you with the force of a freight train. You quickly flip your upper body to the side which causes you to fall to the ground, just out of the book's reach. She grunts from the miss and brings the book back down at you. It isn't possible to move in your current position, so you do the next best thing:
"PLEASE STOP!!! DON'T WHACK ME AGAIN, PLEASE!!" You scream like a little girl with your eyes clenched as closed as they could physically be. Nothing happens for a moment after that... No noise... No talking... Thankfully, no pain... Then, a few seconds after that, you hear the behemoth book drop to the floor. You're wary to open you're eyes again, but once they are, you see that the pony has sat down and is now crying with her eyes tightly clenched shut. More out of confusion than sympathy, you ask her what the matter is.
"Are.. Are you alright?" You almost whisper.
"NO!" She spits "NOT AT ALL! I'M SCARED OUT OF MY FUCKING SKULL!" You're taken aback slightly, but go on talking.
"Why are you scared?"
"I'M ON A FOREIGN PLANET AND YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY I'M SCARED SHITLESS!?!" You think for a moment as she goes back to sobbing.
"Look. You don't need to be scared here, alright? Nothing's gonna happen to you." You assure her. The mare is crying less now, but is still crying. "I'm the only one here with you and I have no intention of causing you any harm whatsoever." This tactic seems to be calming her down more and more.
"Why should I trust you?" She asks through a teary eyed frown. Truthfully, you didn't have any convincing reason why she should trust you.
"There aren't a lot of reasons, I know. But you should know that I've never hurt anything living in my life... Except my cat, that one time... But that doesn't matter. I promise I won't hurt you. You have no reason to be scared of me at all. So, if you co-"
"BWWAAAAAAAAA!!!" The mare loudly sobs as she drops her head onto yours. The side of her skull burrows itself right into your temple. After a momentary dizzy spell, you look up to see the back of her head; she is lying on your head, facing the other direction. She's sobbing rather loudly and you can tell she is crying more than before due to the large amount of moisture you can feel on the back of your head. She's also stroking the top of your head with a hoof while she cries.
"THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT MY PAPA WOULD HAVE SAID!!!" She cries. "He- He would have told me t-to be brave. And t-to not freak out about, about being here and.. and.. AND I MISS HIM SO MUCH!!!" The mare has been in your home for all of half an hour and is already crying about being homesick. "He would take me out on nature walks and tell me about the animals around... And, and he'd show me how to make a campfire, and other stuff! He's such a cool guy...." By now you've managed to get a hand free from the chair. But rather than knocking the mare unconscious or snapping her neck as you had planned, you instead bring it up to her head and stroke it as she has been doing yours.
"There, there..." You say. "It's alright. You'll be fine, and I'm sure he is too. Just calm down." The mare brings her hoof up to your hand and squeezes it. You wince a bit at how strong of a grip she has, but you refrain from making any noise other than those of comfort.
"I'm just sooo scared here.... um... What's your name?" She pauses her crying for a moment.
"Jared." You answer.
"I'm just scared, Jar Head...." You're too busy trying to calm her down to correct her.
"I know, I know. What's your name, by the way?"
"Pin Point."
"It's very nice to meet you, Pin Point." You say with a smile. Pin Point lifts up her head to face you with a smile herself and wipes a foreleg across her face, removing any leftover tears. She wraps your still restrained hand in her aura and severs the rag, allowing you free movement. You push yourself up onto your knees but aren't able to get to your feet before Pin Point wraps her hooves around you in a tight hug.
"Thank you..." She says, pushing her chin into your shoulder. You return the hug and press a hand to the back of her head, caressing it like you might an infant.
"No problem." You say. "Hey," You pull her hooves off of you and bring her forward to face you again, a hoof in each hand. "You are gonna be fine, alright?" She nods through a smile and teary eyes. Then you bring her back into another hug.

Pin Point and you have been talking for about two hours now. The two of you are sitting at your dining room table, asking each other questions about each other's lives and whatnot. Pin Point sits in her chair as you'd expect a pony to, seeing how it's not Lyra. You've been asking each other questions for awhile like: What's your favorite food? and What's it like over here/there? You asked her earlier what her special talent was; 'Accuracy' was her reply. She moves on to ask you your age when you glance up at the clock and are reminded of something.
"Hey, I never had breakfast. Did you eat anything before you came over here?"
"Um, no. Why?"
"Well, do you want something?" Pin point brings a hoof up to her stomach and a large growl answers the question for her. "Alright... How do pancakes sound?" The mare's eyes grow huge with happiness.
"Pancakes are my favorite!" She says excitedly. You happily jump from your seat and make your way to the kitchen; Pin Point follows. You set the front burner on med as you place a large pan on its surface.
"So, Jar Head," She begins. You still haven't corrected her. "Not to sound rude or anything, but uh... How old are you?" You laugh for a quick second. She'd asked the question as if she were asking an old man that had just coughed up dust.
"Why do you ask?" You ask, still facing the stove.
"I don't know." She walks around to you side and sits on the floor so you can see her out of the corner of your eye. "You just seem old. You have that musty look to ya. I wanna guess you're thirtyyyyyyyy seven?" You laugh even harder this time.
"Hardly! I'm twenty three, man!" You turn to look at her while chuckling. She has a pretty big grin herself. "How old are you? Twelve?" Pin Point gives a mock hurt expression and corrects you.
"Nineteen!" She sasses. "I'm much more mature than a little filly!" She says just before she blows you a raspberry.
"Much more mature... " You agree sarcastically.
You two stay quiet for a moment afterwards. The pancake's sizzle driving a better conversation than either of you. Your mind eventually wanders into a previous conversation you'd had with Pin Point; one you never finished.
"Hey, you know how we were talking about you and how you got here earlier?" You ask.
"Yeah?"
"We didn't finish talking about it."
"Oh! Oh, yeah... Okay..." The mare tilts her head to the ceiling and shuts her eyes for a moment. "Uh, what do you want to know?"
"Hmm...." The pancake you'd been cooking is now finished. It's the size of the pan it was cooked in and is perfectly golden brown on both sides. You know from experience that the inside is a soft, pillow like texture that just fills your body with warmth. You slide the disk onto a ceramic plate and hand it off to Pin Point, who eagerly grabs it in her magic with a gigantic smile spread across her face. Your mother had always taught you to serve your guests before yourself, and that's something you've always stayed true to. You return to the conversation.
"How did you get here, exactly?"
"Tat's a shtupid kweschun." She says through a mouthful of pancakes.
"Okay, why are you here?" You ask. She swallows before she answers.
"That question's less stupid. I'm here because I signed up to be here." You shake your head.
"Huh?" You say in confusion. Pin Point only smiles.
"Okay, look. A certain group of humans figured out how to make contact with us awhile back, and it wasn't until about a year and a half ago that they were able to actually cross into our world." Your pancake is done now, and you walk to the table with it while she continues, also carrying her's. "They came over and started exploring and documenting on crap and seemed relatively peaceful, which really took a lot of stress off of Celestia. She was freaking out like 'I hope more than anypony has hoped before that they are not hostile!'" You both chuckle, then she goes on. "Well, this one lady, Lauren Faust, comes into the kingdom with this fan-fucking-tastic idea... 'What if?!' She says, 'What if we were to film you guys and show it to the rest of the humans?" You lean in a bit more. Your pancake has become significantly less interesting. "At first Celestia is like 'Fuck that!' and kicks Lauren out of the castle!"
"For real?!"
"Yeah, for real! But, that doesn't stop her! She comes back days and days after, each time with some new statistic or fact or some other crap that proves that humans would be relatively cool with it. Well, Celestia finally cracks and lets Lauren do her thing. She hires actors and shows some tech ponies how to do some of the special effects and all this shit is figured out."
"Wait," You're amazed at what you're hearing. "You mean that the whole show is a sitcom?! And that this shit's being filmed live?!" Pin Point takes another bite of her pancake.
"Yesh!" You slap a palm to your forehead. "Well, as you can imagine, the princess didn't care for any money or anything like that. No, the only thing she asks for in return is knowledge. So Lauren arranges for a tutor to meet with her every now and again to teach her of your guys' culture and languages and a bunch of other crap."
"That still doesn't explain what you're doing here." You poke her in the forehead.
"I'm getting to that!" She brushes you off. "After about three months, Celestia gets the gist of how the human race is and everything and notices a type of pattern. Depression." You give the mare a strange look and she simple holds up a hoof in response. "She sees this in many people around the world. A whole lot of depression.... But she decides something can be done about it. She converses with the humans about the portals they crafted to get to Equestria in the first place, then she slaps a plan in their faces. The world would be doing a hell of a lot better if there was less depression around. So she and the humans set up this huge corporation to send ponies over to Earth." Again, you are dumbfounded.
"That's crazy...."
"Well, they say it's going to help out later on."
"Wait, you made it sound like this has been going on for a while." The mare looks confused for a moment.
"Oh, no! No, this program was started a few weeks ago. I went to go sign up for this program and they gave me and the other ponies instructions on what we'd be doing. They goal was to cheer the depressed human up. Enough to clear up the majority of their sadness. They pulled me into a line and once I was at the front, they put my name and age into a computer and pulled up the human that had the same birth day and personality traits and whom I'd be spending a day each year with." She has a hoof pointed at you.You found that entire story to be quite enthralling. Then, a thought hits you.
"Hold on. Did you say 'each year'?" You ask her.
"Yeah, the program is set up like that. I don't know why... They say you can back out anytime, but, I dunno..." She looks down at her plate for a moment then back to you. "I think I'm cool with you." You can't help but smile after hearing that. 'HNNNG!!' Is repeatedly going through your head. "But I'm only able to be here for a limited time." She holds up her right hoof and reveals a black band wrapping around it. Instead of wondering how you didn't see that before, you move on to study it. It's black all the way around, aside for a silver plate at the top of her wrist with numbers on it counting down.

"Once this thing hits all zeros, I'm automatically brought back to Equestria."
"Alright, this seems to be making sense. But, one more question."
"Shoot."
"If you signed up for this, then why the hell were you so scared back there?" You ask. Pin Point blushes a bit remembering how she had acted earlier.
"I was already sort of nervous when I first signed up, but they said it would be at least two months before they got the portals working. I thought that was great 'cause then I could actually come to look forward to coming here, rather than being afraid. I guess someone thought they'd be funny, 'cause they called me in the next day." You snort. "I remember, 'Pin Point! You're up!'" She shouted in a deeper voice trying to mimic a stallion. "'Aw shit!' That's all I was thinking... They walked me to a portal and after I stepped through it, I woke up on the floor. Your floor." You nod. "I was already freaked out to be seeing a human for the first time, but the fact that the human was almost resting his head on me completely made me lose it!" She punches you in the arm.
"Well, sooorry. I was pretty pretty excited to have a pony in my house, and I was about to flip out when I thought that it was dead. That you were dead." You finish your pancakes. Pin Point stays at the table until you're done. She is very polite.

The two of you had been touring your house for about half an hour. It's relatively large: two stories, full size kitchen, master bedroom, three baths. Not that you need three baths.
You continue into an area less tread through.
"... and this is my game room." You say as the door swings open. Pin Point takes a step into the room and admires all there is to be seen. She is wide eyed with mouth agape as she looks from your multiple xboxs to your two flat screen televisions over to the two video game chairs with surround sound speakers built into the head rest. The mare is utterly speechless as she looks up to you with an enormous smile.
"DUDE!" She gallops over to the game consoles first. "One of the humans, his name was Steam," Probably not, you think. You think something closer to Steve since she has been calling you Jar Head and you had clearly said Jared. "brought one of these over to our world! I got to play it and it was AWESOME!!" She skips around as if the floor is hot to the touch.
"What games did he bring with him?" You ask. Pin Point stops her jumping around and goes into deep thought for a moment.
"Uhh... I think some kind of military game or something..." You go for your game cabinet and pull out a specific disk.
"Did it look like this?" You hold up a copy of Call of Duty.
"HOLY SHIT, YES!!!" She snatches it out of your hands and holds it in her hooves. "Aw, man! Can we play it?!" She's looking at you with very disproportionately large eyes, which makes it extremely difficult to say anything other than-
"Yes!" The mare squeals happily and trots over to your xbox just before placing the game in the tray. You go back to your cabinet for another copy of the game and return to the xbox next to hers.
Once the two of you are set up, you tell her how to join your game before you search for a lobby. Pin Point has chosen Dead Eye as her gamertag. Funny, you thought that would've been taken already. The both of you have head sets on and are ready to rock. Your speaker chairs are on and emitting COD's lobby music in full clarity. You look to your side and see that Pin Point is almost rocking in her chair with a big toothy grin, clearly very excited. You chuckle but she doesn't notice.
"HEY, WAZZUP!?!" Someone named CODMaster screams over your mic.
"Hey, how're ya doing!?" Pin Point replies.
"Pretty good, Dead Eye, Pretty good!"
"Great, man! Looking forward to this match!" She looks to you for a moment and giggles.
"Hey, Dead Eye, you sound hot, girl!"
"HAHAHOHOHO!!" You crackle. Pin Point's jaw drops to the floor as a blush spreads across her face, making its surface more red than blue. "Hey CODMaster, I think you embarrassed her! Her face is red as hell!" You exclaim, earning you another punch in the arm. You quickly turn to the side and mouth the words 'What'd I do?'
"Hey, Dead Eye! Is that your boyfriend or something?" You wouldn't be able to tell if her face was any color other than dark scarlet at this point.
"Alright! You're gonna get it now!" She shouts. CODMaster laughs at her and you even stifle a giggle yourself.
"Yeah, right! You aint even gonna get one kill!" Pin Point grits her teeth.
"What's the winning score?" She asks you.
"Three hundred."
"Hey, CODFucker!!" She blurts, earning some 'OOOO's from the other gamers.
"Yeah?"
"Not only am I gonna kick your ass, but I'm also gonna prevent your team from getting anything higher than thirty points!!" She threatens.
"Is that a promise?" CODMaster teases.
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye..." Shit's about to go down!
Seconds after the game starts, Pin Point is already on the other side of the map. You're amazed at how fast she's moving through the thing. Looking back to your screen, you notice a few campers up in a window. After a click of a button a grenade is sent their way and easily kills the three of them.
"Watch for grenades, dipshits!" You shout through your mic. You can't hear enemy players and they can't hear you, but you still feel the need to tease them.
"...Seventy two.... Seventy three... Seventy four..." You hear Pin Point saying. Looking down to the score counter, you see that your team's score is going up about one kill per second! "... Eighty... Eighty one... Eighty two...." You momentarily drop what you're doing in order to get a look at Pin Point's screen. She has the controller enveloped in her magic aura and is using a pistol, with a tactical knife attachment. An enemy play comes from a building and by the time they have aimed down the sight of their weapon, Pin Point already has three shells popped into the player's skull, earning a head shot. A sniper grazes her character, to which she replies with revealing a sniper of her own and no-scoping the poor bastard! She then runs through a nearby field and suddenly stops. She adjusts her player to face the sky, then she clicks a bumper and sends a tomahawk flying through the air in no obvious direction. Seconds later you see BANK SHOT!! and HEAD SHOT!! appear on her screen.
"You got a fucking head shot with a tomahawk!?! Off of a wall?!" Pin Point smiles but keeps counting.
"One 'o four.... One 'o five.... One 'o six...."
"How the hell are you doing this?!" You demand. Pin Point simply points to her cutie mark, then continues playing. You'd forgotten that she's already told you what her special talent was. Accuracy...
BANG!!
"Damn it!" You almost regret staring at her screen for so long. It was pretty bad ass, though. You go back to your killing spree as she continues her's. You're able to get about five kills before the sound of HEAD SHOT!! blasting through the room distracts you back to her screen.
Literally every single player that steps into her field of vision is immediately decimated. The only ones that survive any longer than one second are ones she can't shoot at until she reloads. Not only is she killing absolutely everyone, she also never fails to get a head shot on each of her victims; including kills with blades!
BANG!!
"Fuck, man!" You've got to stop watching her screen.
About ten minutes of gameplay passes before you check the score again. 296:23
"Damn..." You think aloud. Your player rounds a sharp corner and runs face first into the enemy, which scares the living shit out of you and you reflexively clench your fingers down on both triggers. The enemy falls dead as you drop your remote in your lap.
"OOOO, DAMN IT! I HATE JUMP SCARES!!" Pin Point chuckles at you a bit. You pick your controller back up off of the ground and spin your player around only to be met with three of your enemies; two of them with AKs and the third with a sniper. Just before you're about to scream the 'fuck' word, a grenade flies through the air and annihilates the three of them all at once. The game ends with a cheering team and a smiling Pin Point, who seems very pleased with herself.
"....-KING HACKS!! THERE IS NO WAY THAT THAT BITCH KILLED ME AS MUCH AS SHE DID WITH OUT HACKS!!!" Apparently the enemy's mics had come back on.
"Hey, CODFucker!" Pin Point shouts. "You looked like you were getting more cock than your shotgun out there!" You spit as you erupt into a laughing fit along with the other players, including some of the losers!
"Man, whatever.... Player, CODMaster has left the session"
In a half hour game with a three hundred point winning score, only fifteen minutes were used. You won with three hundred points against the enemy with twenty six. On your team, you take note of the individual scores.

"Holy shit!" is as much as you can manage. Pin Point smiles and winks at you.
"Notice how they didn't get anything higher than thirty..."
"I did, I did. Very nice, you kept your word!"

It was about two 'o clock by the time you'd finished your game with Pin Point. This mare was amazing; she'd managed to piss off every troll the two of you had played with and even managed to troll them!
"That had to have been recorded!" You tell her.
"How?"
"There are these videos I've seen about people just joining random games and pissing people off so badly that they either quit the game or start shouting stupid shit like CODFucker!" You found her depiction of that player's name to be extremely hilarious!
"Well, he was being an asshole..." She smiles at you.
"Hey, it's about lunch time, ya think?" You ask.
"Yeah... CAN WE HAVE MORE PANCAKES!?!" Her eyes light up and grow to the size of saucers once again as she jumps on you and wraps her hooves around your neck.
"(CAK!!) I- I don't think for lunch!" You manage to pry her bear trap strength forelegs off of your neck and she falls to the floor with a pouting expression.
"Hmph!...pancakes..." She mumbles. You look to your kitchen for a brief moment.
"How about we cook something fancy?" You say while waving your hands in front of your face. Pin Point giggles at you.
"Fancy, huh?"
"No, you're saying it wrong, it's-" You get down on one knee and do jazz hands. "FANCY!!"
"Okay..." She laughs a bit. "What fancy food will we be cooking?" You ponder the question. You know of a few vegetarian recipes. You've been looking around online, testing recipes you find, and memorizing those that you like. You plan to be a cook one day. A smile spreads across your face upon your decision. You turn to her and give your best french accent.
"Crêpes With Bananas Flambé!" You throw your hands in the air in excitement. Pin Point just stares at you in confusion for a moment as you stand perfectly still. Then you do jazz hands again and she giggles.
"Alright. Let's do it!"

The two of you stand facing the stove. Both wearing tough looking faces. You slap a non-stick pan onto the burner and crank the heat up to medium.
"MIXING BOWL!!" You shout.
"MIXING BOWL!!" Pin Point repeats as she levitates a mixing bowl to you.
"ONE HALF CUP OF FLOUR!!"
"ONE HALF CUP OF FLOUR!!" Flour is brought down and poured into the bowl.
"ONE AND ONE FOURTH CUPS MILK!!" You both keep your eyes forward while screaming.
"ONE AND ONE FOURTH CUPS MILK!!" The milk is added to the bowl.
"ONE EGG!!"
"ONE EGG!!" The yolk and white are removed from the egg and emptied into the bowl as the still whole shell is tossed into the trash. Magic is cool!
"A pinch of salt please?"
"Why, I'd be happy to." She levitates a container of salt to you. You grab a bit between your thumb and index finger and sprinkle it into the bowl.
"ONE TABLESPOON OF CANOLA OIL!!"
"ONE TABLESPOON OF CANOLA OIL!!" The oil is tossed into the bowl. You've been whisking along with your screaming and the batter has come out nice and thick. You run to the fridge and literally throw the mixture inside dramatically, causing Pin Point to laugh. Luckily, nothing spilled.
"Next we gots ta flambé the bananas!" You run to back to the stove and remove a relatively large knife from its drawer. Once the bananas are evenly sliced, you set the knife down on the edge of counter. After having melted margarine in the pan, you toss in the bananas and coat them in maple syrup. Finally, you coat the bananas in a couple tablespoons of Brandy.
"Those look good!"
"Now for the final touch! Would you do the honors?" You hand Pin Point a match.
"Why, yes. Yes I would." She replies with a smile. After taking the match, she stokes it across the stove and pushes it near the pan you're holding. But it isn't until the second she lights it that you realize that you've soaked your sleeve in Brandy.
FWOOSH!!!
"GAHH!!" You scream in pain as your sleeve catches fire. Brandy usually puts itself out rather quickly, but it's the cloth that is now on fire. You flail your arm around and unintentionally knock Pin Point to the ground. You flip yourself around and press your arm to your chest, then let yourself drop to the ground in an attempt to put the flames out. You hear a metallic clang as your body slams to the ground with extreme force and you crack your ribs to the ground; the air escapes your lungs. Lucky for you though, the flames are out. Pin Point lifts herself up from the ground with a hoof to her head.
"Ahhh.... Did you have to push me back so hard? I cracked my he-"
"Shhhhhhhhhh-shh-shhhhh-shhhh!" You interrupt. "My arm stings like a bitch right now... oooooooooooooo...." You haven't moved since you landed.
"Oh shit, Jar Head! You're bleeding!" The mare points to a blood spattered section on the shoulder of your white shirt.
"fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccckkkkkkkkkkkk-kch!" You say with your teeth clenched together. You arm really does hurt like a bitch. You look to your side and notice the knife that you'd left on the counter, and it seems to have a red streak across it. You look over your shoulder and notice a small red streak across your shoulder. But when you don't see any holes you look around at other sections of your shirt. No holes there either... You look back to Pin Point. "I don't think I got c- OH SHIT! YOUR LEG!!" Pin Point swings her head down to her leg, which is now dripping with blood.
"Oh, I'mmmmm I- I'm b-blee-"
THUMP!
Pin Point has collapsed to the floor.
"Fuck!"

You had quickly wrapped Pin Point's leg up in a couple medical bandages. During your helping her, you had bumped your arm on things like tables or counters, which made you either shed a tear or two, or just curse. Once the pony was fully bandaged and lying on your couch, you dipped your arm in a pitcher of ice cold water and sat down next to her.
"Fucking still stings..." You say as you swish your arm around in the pitcher. You look back to Pin Point who is still unconscious but seems to be sleeping peacefully. You're very thankful that it was as small of a gash as it was, or else you would've really felt like shit. You look back up to her face. She looks almost happy and looks adorable and you can't help but smile.
You feel that you're beginning to nod off yourself. You slouch down into the couch and relax...
Russle Russle
You drowsily lift your eyelids. You notice the clock reads seven thirty.
Russle
You lift your head and look around for the source of the sound; you don't have to look very far. You'd fallen asleep siting up, Pin Point had on the other side of the couch. Now, it appears that she had moved from her previous spot to now resting her head on your thigh. She breathes softly and silently and you simply watch her sleep for a moment.
"That," You whisper, "is the cutest fucking thing ev-"
"Mmph..." Pin Point shifts in her sleep.
Probably should stop talking. You think to yourself.
"Mmmmm... yeahhh...." Pin Point whispers. You glance down to her again and notice the huge smile growing on her face. "Oh, yeah...." She's getting a bit louder and is shifting awkwardly.
"Uhh...." You are barely able to manage that.
"Mmm, Big McIntosh..."
"NOPE!" You shout as you stand and allow Pin Point to fall to the floor. She crashes to the ground and looks up to you with a tired grimace.
"What the hell, man?" She says.
"Hey, sorry if I didn't want to hear about your little fantasies with Big McIntosh!" Pin Point's blue cheeks go as red as the stallion himself.
"I was talking in my sleep, wasn't I?" She says in an embarrassed tone with one eye clenched shut.
"Uh, yeah!" You say with slight disgust, but now beginning to find the situation funny. You give a half smile and the mare loosens up a bit.
"Ugh! Didn't your mother ever teach you not to eavesdrop on people?"
"As a matter of fact s-" Mom... You were having a good day until just now.
"Hey, Jar head... You alright?" You must've drooped very quickly for her to be that serious.
"I- I just haven't seen my mother in quite some time..." You lower yourself back down to the couch.
"Why? What happened?" Pin Point asks. You drop your head some.
"She left us about ten years ago. My father wasn't the same afterwards... He used to be a really friendly and playful guy. But after she left, he just went cold." You look back up to Pin Point. "Stone cold..." Pin Point seems a bit uncomfortable to continue this conversation.
"Where is she now?" She asks. You point to the top of your television. On it's surface rests a small glass jug with what looks like dirt inside.
"She's in there..." Pin Point's eyes go wide as she focuses in on the urn. The mare lifts the object with her magic and gently places it in her hooves.
"That sorting computer really is accurate..." She says quietly.
"What do you mean?" You ask through sad eyes.
"My mom died when I was ten... It was hard on everypony in my family, but we aren't ones to dwell on that sort of thing..." Pin Point looks through your mother's ashes. "My papa didn't change much after her death. He's still immature as ever!" She quietly jokes. "About a year ago, when the first humans came over to Equestria, it was my papa that had the brilliant idea of screwing with one of them." A teary-eyed smile forms on her face. "He jogged up to one in some military uniform and kicked the human in the side, making him stumble. I had to go get him out of a jail cell. He was laughing when I got there about 'how surprised the guy was and how he never saw it coming!'" My papa makes a lot of money though, so paying the bail wasn't a very big deal. "From then on, he's said how much more fun it would've been with my mom there. She could've stood behind the human as my papa kicked him and made the guy smash his head on the ground."
You both chuckle a bit through some tears. "My mom died of cancer." She says. You look at her with immense sympathy. "It was so agonizingly painful to sit at her side and watch her die!!" She screams, nearly dropping the urn. You grab the glass from her and set it to the side. "Sometimes it doesn't matter how much magic a unicorn can muster... There's just nothing to do! Nothing you can do!!" There is now a steady stream of tears flowing from the both of you. Yours are more silent, hers loud sobs. "That's what they kept telling me! 'There's nothing more we can do Pin Point! It's better to just LET THIS FUCKING HAPPEN!!!'" The mare is sobbing hysterically. You quickly pull her into a hug before she just drops herself to the ground. "I just don't... I don't get it... Why'd she have to die?" Pin Point whimpers into your shoulder.
"Hey..." You pull the mare off of your shoulder to face you for a moment. "I know how you feel. My mother didn't have any illnesses that we knew of. She just sort of died. She was reading a book to me one day and just started getting quieter. She got quieter and quieter until she just stopped. When I asked her why, she didn't answer." Pin Point is still crying a bit. "But you know what?" She pauses in her water works. "Even though I was angry, sad, and confused, I vowed to work past that because I knew that that's what my mom would've wanted. She'd always told me not to dwell on what bothered me. 'Today might be bad but tomorrow has so many good possibilities.'" Pin Point is smiling again.
"You just need to work past it. Even your dad, who was known your mother years longer than you have, has been able to recover..."
"They'd known each other since highschool."
"Exactly. They grew up together. So if your mother's best friend and lover is able to get past this ordeal, why should it be any harder for you?" Pin Point puts on a determined face.
"You're right. I need to get over it. She's dead, but things can still get better."
"Right." Pin Point wraps her hooves around you again, catching you off guard.
"Thank you, Jar Head... I needed that."
"Thank you too, Pin Point." You both sit in each other's embrace for a few minutes...
DEET DEET DEET
A high pitched sound causes you both to jump. Pin Point lifts her hoof up an inspects it. The device on her leg was the thing beeping.

"Five minutes till I have to go..." The mare says sadly.
"Well, it was fun while it lasted." You try to cheer her up. It seems to work a little.
"Jar Head, even though you scared the shit out of me, stabbed my in the leg, and made me cry my eyes out, I still think you're really cool."
"Thank you, Pin Point. That means alot. I think you're really cool too." The two of you just kind of sit across from each other in an awkward silence. Pin Point looks at the floor and you, to the ceiling.
"I want to say this, but I don't want it to sound weird. Uh... I love you. But in the way a sister loves her brother." Pin Point is looking at you with a sincere, but serious expression.
"And I love you. But as a brother loves his pony sister." You joke. Pin Point chuckles with you. Another moment of silence is shared, then-
DEET DEET DEET
"Last minute." Pin Point makes her way to the center of the room. "I'll see you later, Jar Head!" She gives you a salute.
"Godspeed, Pin Point!" The brilliant white light from this morning returns with twice as much spunk as the first time, immediately blinding and deafening you. You're pissed to say the least.
A few minutes pass and you are left with nothing but you and yourself. It's funny how the house almost seems empty with Pin Point gone. You're disappointed that she had to leave, but you're happy you were able to spend with her the time that you did.
".....I'm gonna buy a cake next time!"
