Prologue
2 weeks ago, I met an impossible stallion. He owned an even more impossible box. He saved my life, and asked me to join him in his adventures. My name is Darkfire Shadows, and I am the Doctor's companion.

A grey and pink (though he liked to call it 'light red') Pegasus named Darkfire moved his pawn up. "Check! Beat that, Princess!" he yelled in triumph. He sat in a lounge in Canterlot Castle. The year was 29 P.S. (Pony Sisters). He and Princess Luna were playing a game of chess.
Princess Luna smirked. "You believe you can beat us?" she asked as she moved her bishop,taking out Darkfire's Queen. "You left yourself open. You do not want to do-" She was cut off by a scream down the hall. Both ponies shot up out of their seats.
"That sounded like-"
"Silver Star!" Princess Luna finished. Silver Star was Princess Celestia's current student, and extremely powerful with magic. She had a silver mane and coat, and her cutiemark was two stars glittering. The Princess and her assistant rushed down the castle hallways. Darkfire kicked down the door to find Silver Star backed against a wall, with a stone Pegasus standing in front of her.
"Silver, what is that?" Darkfire called out to his best friend.
"I don't know! I just blinked, and it was there! Every time I blink or look away, and it moves!" Silver Star called, still staring at the statue. Darkfire looked to his left and saw Luna staring at the statue in shock.
"Run! Both of you, run!" Luna yelled at the duo. Silver galloped over to the door.
"We're not going anywhere, Princess," Darkfire replied. However, when he glanced at Luna, her expression gave off the alarm that these things were very, very dangerous.
"Darkfire, run. Find Tia, and tell her what is happening!" Luna ordered, raising her voice. Darkfire backed off, knowing when to give up arguing. He pulled Silver Star out of the room.
Luna continued to stare at the statue. Suddenly, wind started blowing through the room, and there was a whirring sound.
A blue box materialized behind the statue. The door opened and revealed a ginger Unicorn wearing a silver Stetson and jacket. "Wello, Princess. Miss me?"
