My Little Pony: Rise of the Dark Abyss

Twilight smiled brilliantly as her new wings began to stretch out preparing for every pony to see. She trotted toward Princess Celestia and Luna eagerly. Applause rang throughout her ears and mind as she walked out, onto the patio. She cleared her throat and the crowd became dead silent. She began to speak, smiling thankfully at all of the ponies who watched and listen intently as she gave her speech. But it was at this time, as she gave her speech, that a sudden blast of light blinded every pony and a voice was heard. It was frightening,  deep, and echoed throughout Canterlot.

“Foolish creatures! As you celebrate I have awoken your horrid, wonderful undoing.”

The light faded with a single scream, and where Twilight stood, was a single shadow. It stood there, waiting, watching as all the ponies panicked, then as all of the ponies looked up to the shadow as it laughed maliciously, it vanished before their eyes into a dark vapor. Celestia cautiously approached where the shadow had stood and found a note.
