I Might Be...View OnlineA Little ShockI Might Be...Princess Luna and Prince Lightning Spark were fast asleep in their bed after celebrating their one year anniversary, Luna was having a dream of their wedding day; which she remembered vividly ♥♥♥ Lightning had just finished singing a song expressing his love for Luna, he joins his lovely bride at the alter and the ceremony continues. "Do you Prince Lightning Spark, take this women as your loftily wedded wife" "I Do" "And do you Princess Luna, take this man as your loftily wedded husband" Luna began to cry tears of joy "I do" she said softly. Luna looked over and saw her mother and her sister crying their eyes out. "May I have the rings" a purple baby dragon walked up with a small satin pillow with two gold rings resting on it, the happy couple each took one of the rings. "Lightning put this ring on Luna's finger and say With this ring I thee wed Lightning Spark gently slipped the ring on Luna's finger "With this ring I thee wed" "Now Luna put this ring on Lightning's finger and say With this ring I thee wed" Luna slipped the ring gently on her love's finger and said "With this ring I thee wed" "With the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife you may........" before the minster could finish what he was saying Lightning Spark lifted Luna's vail over her face and kissed her lips passionately "....go on kissing the bride" The newly wed couple parted their lips, held each other close and stared deep into each others eyes; they were starting their lives together. ♥♥♥ Lying in her bed with her husband Luna started sweating, she woke up feeling not herself 'I don't feel so well'. Her stomach gave a violent jump, she ran to the bathroom, waking Lightning, and she quickly got sick. Worried Lightning Spark followed Luna into the bathroom and found his wife hunched over the toilet, her face covered in sweat and her eyes watering "Are you alright Luna?" "I don't know, I've actually had a stomach ache all day" Luna stood up and Lightning put his hand on her forehead "You don't have a fever, how long have you been sick? "Well the past few days' I've just felt a kind of nocuous, almost as if I was...." she turned to face her husband with a few tears in her eyes. Lightning Spark had a surprised look on his face, he finally spoke "Do you think?" "Well if you wouldn't mind" Luna replied; her eyes tearing. Lightning Spark pulled his beloved wife into a warm embrace, wiped away her tears and gave her a reassuring smile "Why would I mind another one of you to love, now lets go back to bed; we'll see a doctor in the morning." Luna and Lightning went back to bed and fell asleep, Luna did have to get up 2 more times before her stomach finally settled. ♥♥♥ Lightning and Luna went down to the infirmary and they ran some tests on Luna as the couple requested, by then the princess was started to feel light headed and like she was going to throw up again. After about 15 minuets or so they were up in their room waiting for the results. Lightning felt he had to break the silence "How long is this gonna take?" "They said it would only be a few minuets" Then suddenly a knock at the door "Come in" Luna said, a nurse came in carrying an envelope. "Your results princess" she handed Luna the envelope. "Thank you" the nurse left the prince and princess alone as she knew they wanted. Luna took a deep breath opened the envelope, she read her results and looked at her husband..... The RevealView OnlineA Little ShockThe Reveal"I'm pregnant" Thrilled with this news Lightning Spark picked Luna up and spun her around, then setting her down gently. He then noticed the worried look on his wife's face "What's the matter Luna, I thought you'd be happy" "I am, it's just...I don't know...I guess I'm just a bit nervous" "Well to tell you the truth I'm kind of nervous too, we've only been married for a year; we talked about having kids but not for a couple more years" "I know, I'm scared Lightning" "Me too, but that's okay my mother once told me that there is nothing as frightening or as wonderful as becoming a parent". The princess hugged her husband "You always know what to say, and I do love you enough to have your baby" "I love you too Luna" the parents to be locked their lips in a deep kiss. ♥♥♥ Luna began her second month of pregnancy, and was showing nicely with a slight baby bump. Her morning sickness had passed and her cravings kicked in, she mostly craved bread and butter pickles; she was also getting kind of moody and was yelling at Lightning Spark to stop breathing on her. Luna was sitting outside trying to relax but she just couldn't. Lightning came over to her with a big plate of pickles "Here honey I thought you may want a snack, how are you feeling?" "I'm light-headed and my ankles are swollen...I Hate You...You Did This To ME!" "Well hello hormones" Luna looked ashamed for snapping at him "I'm sorry I'm just worried, are we doing the right thing bring a child into this world?" "Look we knew when we got married that we'd start a family together sooner or later, it just has to be sooner; but don't worry Luna I'll be by your side every step of the way" The princess smiled "Thanks Lightning, I think I'll go take a nap" Luna was about to get up but Lightning Spark picked her up the way he did when he carried her across the thresh hold. Curious Luna asked "What are you doing?" "Well I don't want you to get tired" "That's so sweet" Lightning started to carry her up to their room, and Luna thought that it was warm there in his arms; she soon fell asleep in his arms. When Lightning Spark got to their room he noticed that his wife was asleep and he sat down on the bed stretched out and kind of cradled her, Luna smiled and snuggled into Lightning's chest. When Luna opened her eyes she saw her husband staring at her, just staring and smiling "Were you watching me sleep?" "Can you blame me your adorable" Luna giggled, but it was cut short because she felt something weird "Oh" she gasped "What's wrong?" Lightning asked "It just felt like a cricket ran across my stomach" "Really, that must be the baby kicking" The princess put her hand on her stomach "No way, that's the baby; do you want to feel?" "Uh...I don't.." "Oh come on, feel your son or daughter" she then took his hand in hers and placed it on her swollen stomach. Lightning soon felt a tiny tap on the palm of his hand, and it suddenly became real to him; he was going to be a father "Wow that's so weird, I can't believe I made that" "Well you did, and can I assume you want a boy?" "Yeah, and can I assume you want a girl?" "I don't care all that matters is that it's happy and healthy; I will love it because it will be ours" Lightning smiled at her "I haven't thought about it that way, hey do you want to find out if its a boy or a girl?" "Actually I wanted to be surprised, but maybe we should see the doctor to find out how the baby is doing" "Your right, we'll go see the doctor in little while, but for now you can go back to sleep" Luna gave her husband one last smile and fell back asleep. ♥♥♥ The prince and princess were in the infirmary waiting to here how the baby was doing, the doctor was using her magic to see the baby and would be able to tell if it was healthy and if it was a boy or a girl. But the couple made it clear that they wanted to be surprised and didn't want to know what gender their child was. "Well how is my baby, is it healthy?" Luna asked "Of course you have nothing to worry about, you don't smoke and you don't drink your doing everything right; the babies will be just fine" Luna sighed in relief "Good it's reassuring to know my babies are alright" Lightning Spark just stood in shock, then he spoke "Did you say babies?" "Did she say babies?" Luna repeated The doctor giggled "That's what I said...your having twins" "Who's having twins?!" Luna asked in excitement "You are, congratulations" The doctor left them alone because she knew they wanted to be alone to talked about the twins. Luna looked at her husband "Are you okay, you look stunned aren't you happy about the twins?" "Well of course I am, it's just...are we ready to have two babies?" "Lightning I don't care if it's two babies, I don't care if it's three babies, I don't care if all of Canterlot comes out of there; we are going to love and raise them because they are our children" "You right Luna, as long as were together who cares how many babies it is" Lightning Spark and Luna shared a warm embrace, and this time Lightning felt two tiny taps against his stomach. It's TimeView OnlineA Little ShockIt's TimeDuring the next 7 months Luna's hormones went out of control she was happy, sad, hot, cold, she was...HUGE. She was also demanding and you would think Lightning Spark would be tired of it all but he knew that the babies depended on Luna so she should be able to depend on him. Luna even yelled at Lightning to stop breathing down her neck...even though he was on the other side of the room. She was okay during her baby shower, friends of her sisters student sent some gifts; Rarity made the most adorable baby clothes for both a boy and a girl, and (If U saw the episode Suited For Success, u know that Fluttershy has, as Apple Jack put it, a freaky knowledge of sewing) Fluttershy made two of the sweetest little baby blankets and a couple pairs of booties; they were tiny and adorable and both Luna and Lightning loved them. One night Luna and Lightning Spark were asleep, Luna had snuggled up close to Lightning and he was holding her hand; Luna started feeling uncomfortable. She rolled off her husbands chest and stared sweating and panting, Luna then felt a sharp pain in her stomach and woke up with a painful yelp. This caused Lightning to wake up "Luna, is it time?!?" "Yeah" Luna said in pain "Oh man, how are we gonna get you to the doctor you can barely move?!" "You...are gonna...have...to carry me" Without another word Lightning scooped Luna up and flew down to the infirmary. He burst through the doors and landed right in front of a nurse "Luna's in labor, we need a doctor" The nurse led Lightning to a private room, she told him that the doctor would be there soon and she helped Luna change into a hospital gown. Lightning Spark was acting as Luna's breathing coach and refused to leave her side for any reason. Luna's eyes shut tight "OHH Lightning...another contraction" Lightning held her hand as she let out short breaths and a total of several Ow's "That was bad one wasn't it?" "Yep, this is your fault I hate you" Lightning signed and reached over to stroke his wife's hair "Don't worry Luna, everything is going to be fine" "I'm sorry for being so mean to you" "It's okay" Lightning picked up a damp sponge and dabbed it on Luna's forehead. After a few more minuets the nurse came in, examined Luna and said she was almost completely dilated. The nurse then brought Luna into the delivery room, gave her an epidural, and hooked her up to a machine that monitors her contractions. "Alright princess it won't be long now" the nurse said and she left Lightning and Luna alone. Luna smiled at Lightning "I'm so glad your here with me" "I wouldn't miss this for the world" After a few more minuets the doctor came in and said Luna was fully dilated and that the twins were ready to be born. "Okay princess ready...now...push" 40 Minuets Later Lightning Spark was sitting on the edge of the bed with Luna, each of them cradled a blanket-wrapped bundle. They were quite until Lightning broke the silence "Luna honey you were wonderful, I'm so proud of you" he kissed Luna on the side of her head "I love you Luna" "I love you too Lightning" "I can't believe I'm the father of a handsome baby boy and a beautiful baby girl; you know...they have your nose" "And your cute smile" The twins had red hair like their father, but ends of the girls hair was blue. Each of the twins had a birth mark of a lightning bolt with a small star under it on their cheek. Lightning Spark and Luna looked at the baby they were holding "Hi I'm your daddy" Lightning said softly "And I'm your mommy" "Luna can you believe it were parents" Lightning Spark said looking up from the infant "Hey how we doing so far dad?" "I think they dig us" Lightning joked and Luna giggled "What should we name them?" Luna asked "Well...for a boy you know what name I've always liked" Lightning Spark said "What?" "Rider" "I love that, Prince Rider" Luna said with a smile "Now what about our little girl?" "Well I've always wanted to have a daughter named Ayla" Lightning smiled and he started to tear up a little "That's a pretty name, so it's settled Prince Rider and Princess Ayla" "I just love them so much, thanks for making me a mommy" "Thanks for making me a daddy" "Lightning, I'm a little scared, how are we supposed to keep these tiny things safe?" "Don't worry Luna, you have maternal instincts, you'll know what to do; and I'll be their to help you" Luna and Lightning, and their beloved, newly named, new born children all soon fell asleep. Lightning Spark and Luna couldn't be happier, they were a family now with two children they couldn't love more; and they were happily married. They loved each other from the first day they met, they love each other now, and they'll love each other forever; and now they were two more to love.
