Next Morning, I woke up on the bed with Applebloom jumping up and down on top of me “Dad, Dad! Wake Up!” I sighed from exhaustion and asked in a deep tone

“What for?” Applebloom jumped on my stomach once more

“For the trip! I wanna spend time with you! How can you forget dad…” I smiled

“You`re excited for that huh?” Applebloom then let out a big smile

“Yep!” Applebloom then ran up to me to give me a nuzzle Vinyl then said

“C`mon Full Moon! Spend time with the girl, after all you promised to protect her” I than picked Applebloom up with my hooves

“Of course not! How could I possibly forget?” Applebloom then smiled heart warmly

“Ah knew you would not Dad!” I then got out of the bed and got up on my four hooves and walked into Record Moon`s room

“Sweetie you up?” Record Moon stopped writing her diary and responded

“Yeah, i`m up” she than yawned

“Does not look like it to me” I replied Record Moon smiled and then let out a small sigh

“Yeah, I thought you had to go?” I nodded

“Yes but ill be back, im not going to die out there am I now?” Record Moon smiled

“I guess not…” I than got up from sitting on the side of Record Moon`s bed, Record Moon used her horn to close the door

“What is going on with you and Applebloom? Tell me the truth” I sighed

“Nothing`s going on, you see Applejack?” Record Moon nodded

“Yeah I do” I than continued “She and her husband… who passed away, wants me to look after Applebloom… so I have, I have to take her with me” Record Moon jumped up

“Why cant you take me instead?” I placed my hoof on Records face

“Sweetie… I dont want to risk your life, youre too precious to me… if you died… I dont know what I would do and, I dont want to think about it” Record Moon continued

“I don`t like being a burden! Please take me…” I continued ignoring her plea

“Im sorry Record… im not risking the life of two fillies who I love equally, stay here and look after mom for me yeah? I cant`t be in two places at once and I need you to look after mom okay?” Record Moon opened the door with her magic

“I guess so… i`ll look after mom…” I came into a hug with her

“Thats my girl” I gave her a kiss on the cheek “Ill see you soon okay?” Record Moon pulled me into a hug again

“Don`t be gone for too long okay?” I nodded to her

“I`ll try not to”

I walked out of the door “Cmon Applebloom! Lets get Diana!” Applebloom smiled and jumped into my hooves

“Ah gotta get my things Ahll be right back!” Applebloom then scuttled off down the stairs I walked back into mine and Vinyls bedroom Vinyl then started to talk to me

“How long exactly are you going to be gone for?” I grabbed her hoof

“Hopefully not long” I then gave her the biggest kiss I could muster to do

“I love you Vinyl” Vinyl Scratch smirked “How many times has those words been said?” I shrugged

“I lost count” Vinyl then let out a laugh

“Thats one of the reasons im going to miss you” I turned around

“My sense of humor? Thanks a lot Vinyl!” Vinyl kissed me on the cheek

“Not just that…” I turned around to face her and I gave her another kiss

“Oh, I get where youre going, wheres the clean Vinyl I fell in love with?” Vinyl smirked

“Shes right here! Wheres the cocky, strong Full Moon I fell in love with?” I than clutched her in a immense hug

“Also right here” Vinyl than whispered

“Remember when we first met?” I nodded

“Yeah of course I do!” Vinyl then tapped me on the shoulders

“It!” I sighed

“Not this again!” Vinyl then began to run down the stairs slamming the door shut, I peeked out of the window I saw Vinyl running away

“It is this again is it not?” I whispered to myself I opened the window and flew out, Vinyl was still running and I landed on her tackling her onto the floor and on her back, we then broke into laughter

“Tag your it!” i shouted Vinyl replied

“Of course… always use the wings…” I than exclaimed

“Should have thought about that before marrying me” Vinyl then let out a cheap laugh

“I guess I should have picked a unicorn…” I than retaliated

“Hey if I was a unicorn I would have lassoed you by now!” Vinyl smirked

“I`d like to see you try” I let her start to run away for five seconds, then I used my magic to bring a lasso next to me I started to spin it, and I launched it at Vinyl catching her body and dragging her back Vinyl then frowned

“How about earth pony?” I was about to reply but Applebloom tackled me into the floor making me lay on my back

“Dad, im ready! And I have a surprise!” I got up and stroked Appleblooms mane

“What`s that sweetheart?” Applebloom then carried out a basket covered by a red and white squared cloth

“Here!” I stared at the basket and then after five seconds Diana jumped out of the basket with her hooves held high

“SURPRISE” Applebloom and Diana shouted at me I was flown onto my back Applebloom then jumped on my body

“How`d you like that surprise?” I then smirked

“Surprising, wow Applebloom!” Applebloom then smiled

“It was all Diana`s idea” I than shot back at her

“So? Still the cutest filly in Equestria!” Applebloom then giggled and Vinyl then made a fake cough

“Forgetting some pony?” I turned my head around to see Vinyl tied to the lasso

“Oh right sorry Vinyl!” I used my horn to untie the lasso around Vinyl`s leg Vinyl then got up and gave me a huge kiss

“I`ts okay, hubby” Vinyl then began to walk away I quickly grabbed her body forcing her to turn around to make her to look into my eyes

“Where are you going?” Vinyl chuckled

“Don`t know…” I than swept her off her hooves

“You sure?” Vinyl laughed

“Stop! Put me down” I refused

“Why should i?” Vinyl kept on laughing

“Some pony help!” I dropped her on her four hooves

“Do you need help now?” Vinyl replied

“Not now, maybe later” Applebloom then jumped in front of me and Vinyl

“Dad, don`t we have to go?” my memory refreshed

“Oh right forgot about that!” I lifted Applebloom on my back and then gave Vinyl a kiss

“I`ll be back! Love of my life and mare of my dreams!” Vinyl then gave me a kiss back and a nuzzle

“I know just be back soon!” I gave her a hug

“You were expecting something longer?” Vinyl shrugged

“No… well maybe” I than gave her another immense kiss

“How about that!” Vinyl replied

“That`s much better” I broke from the hug and called

“Diana! Time to go!” Diana came instantly that second and stood on all four hooves by my side

“I`m ready! Do you know how ready I am?” Applebloom took the bait

“No” Diana than near shouted

“I`ve never been this ready until now!” I than walked around town to say goodbye to the residents of New Appleloosa…

I first walked to a house which had the newlyweds Calamity and Inky, I knocked on the door hoping for a reply but nothing came I then heard “I love you” come from the other side of the door

“Best not interrupt them I suppose” I then wandered off with Applebloom snug on my back and Diana walking by my side.

I than made my way to the barn to say my farewell to Applejack, I entered the barn only to find Applejack standing there staring at me “I guess this is it huh sugar cube?” Applejack frowned at me I replied

“Guess so” Applejack then walked up to me, she than slowly gave me a kiss on the lips

“Thank you, for everything youve done for the Apple Family…” I placed my hoof on Applejacks cheek

“Dont mention it, its what i`m best at” Applejack smiled and then walked to my back where Applebloom was sleeping

“Guess you bored her” I replied

“Not exactly, blame Diana for that” Diana was too busy watching the animals to take notice, Applejack then gave Applebloom a kiss on the cheek

“Ill see you soon little sis” Applejack whispered into Appleblooms ear Applebloom then moved around to get comfy

“You take good care of her okay?” I nodded

“What did I make a pact to then?” Applejack then smiled and walked up to my face “I forget” Applejack then gave me a short cuddle

“Don`t die out there will you?” I then made my hoof cross my heart

“I promise” Applejack then whispered into my ears

“I love you for what you`ve done… for everything” I nodded in disagreement

“No, dont cheat on Applesnack for me… this is friendship, nothing special. Okay you could say close friends but I prefer family, its all we need in this place” Applejack smiled

“Now I know why youre Appleblooms father” I nodded

“And im proud of that, its all that I could possibly ask for” Applejack then smiled

“You deserve her…” we then got in a massive hug and I then felt Applejack shed a few tears

“What`s the matter?” Applejack looked at me with the tears pouring down her face

“I don`t know” her tears then started to rush down her face

“I just want you to stay here!” Applejack then began to cry

“Ever since Applesnack passed away… i`ve been looking for some pony, some pony to cherish a love with. A connection if you wish…” I than put my hoof on her moist cheek

"Applejack… look if you want me to be that pony,” Applejack then interrupted me

“Yes I do” I than sighed

“I wish I could Applejack… but, wasn`t Applesnack that pony?” Applejack then raised to a voice which could wake Applebloom

“No! he wasnt! He was never here, after the war he had a chance but he blew it and murdered Zecora! I cant forgive him! He`s a psychopath!” After Applejack said that I my head started to sway Applejack noticed this

“Full Moon are you okay?” I nodded my head

“Yeah im fine, just hard to take in thats all” Applejack then pulled a hurtful face

“Sugar cube… I didn`t mean to pressure you like that!" Applejack placed her hoof on my chest

“i`m just saying, I never loved Applesnack” I began to pretend and placed my hoof on Applejack

“Applejack, I believe you… ill love you, ill protect you” it got hard for me to speak my throat started to clog up

“Applejack, i`ll be that pony then… just promise me one thing” Applejack placed her hooves on my cheek

“What`s that sugar cube?” I than took a deep breath

“Just make sure Vinyl never finds out, dont tell her a thing. If she finds out, I dont know what i`ll do” Applejack looked into my eyes with a love expression

“Dont worry sugar cube, ill do that” I exhaled and took another deep breath

“Applejack” we broke into a hug

“Applejack I love you” Applejack replied

“I love you too Full Moon,” Applejack broke from the hug

“Now go… find my friends, the Ministry Mare`s”

I nodded and called Diana I than turned around, while Applejack watched me leave when I left Applejck then threw her hat away “That stallion has everything now does he not?, oh well I better get to work” Applejack noticed a letter on a bale of hay

“What`s this?” Applejack then opened the letter

“Dearest nephew Applejack”

“Have you seen Full Moon recently? Ahve been looking for him for a long time, if you find him could you tell him im in Daiquiri Town please. Hope you`re doing well and so is Applebloom and the rest”

“Your nephew Apple Fritter”

Applejack then looked up at the roof “What in the hay does this mean?”
