CB blinked in disbelief, the town she once knew was now a bustling high tech city full of mostly earth ponies with very few pegasai and unicorns,
the sky was shining bright and as sweat trickled through CB's coat she looked down.

"what am i doing all the way up here?" shouted CB in dismay "im flying again" and just as those words trickled out of CB's lips the glow around her faded away and she plumeted to the soft grass.
all the other ponies gasped as one earth pony in some sort of uniform stood forward

"i would like you to come with me" said the stallion with an angry look on his face "we dont take kindly to higher magic users in our city" and just like that he reached out his forehoof for CB's foreleg,
CB struggled and batted away the uniformed stallion and fled the scene as she was chased. she ran as fast as she could through the city her hooves bashing against the path and tough stone of the pavement twisting and turning through out the roads until she thought she was safe, then out of nowhere two other ponies rushed at CB,

"we have you now newbie now just come along with me" they angrily shouted as she dodged all of thier kicks and attacks, she ran for her life and by this time her hooves were aching and it wasnt looking bright but she finally lost the group of uniformed ponies in an alley way, she looked up to see a door to the old rusty clock tower which was surprisingly on time and in working condition, she entered the door into the tower.

"are you ok miss?" said a pegasus as he walked out of the back room of the building, "what happened? it sounds like you brought a tornado into the city" the pegasus giggled lightly

"i was running from these people in uniform, turns out im a high magic user yet being an earth pony" CB replied "i could really use your help" she looked around and then back at the stallion, it was as if him alone was in sepiatone while the rest of the room and world was in full colour with the cutie mark of 2 gears and sparks from between them it was easy to tell he maintained the old clock, oiling and checking all the cogs and sprockets.

"well isn't that a predicament, your'e free to stay here if you would like" explained the sepia stallion "the name's Gear Grinder by the way"

"thanks" said CB with a smile "have you got a room where i can just be alone for a while?", Gear Grinder pointed towards a door with a hoof on the other side of the room and CB walked towards it

"here take these it might help in the long run and plus i didn't need them anyway", gear gringer said as he fitted CB with a knapsack full of old gears and parts "im sure you have the mind in you to figure out what to do" he said as he winked to her jokingly, CB walk through the door and talked to Googie.

"what are we going to do? where are we going to go if they find us? we are outcasts here and they hate us and we cant get out of here" asked cherry berry "its not like we can just create the void holes from nowhere"

"well if it would calm you down allow me to explain all my data on me and kreskan for you" explained googie as a smiley face showed up on the eye-piece and CB had a shocked look on her face, "it all began when i was made in a factory in a whole other universe the person who made me took me home for more extensive testing when a blue light flashed before me and before i knew i was in box and on my way somewhere, then i ended up in your hoofs, as for kreskan the light gave me slight data, it seems he is being controlled, as for what by, i have no information on that" googie looked worried about CB "are you ok? i may be programmed but it doesn't stop me worrying about you"

"i'm f-fine, its just wow" said CB as she laid out on the bed "i think i need to sleep so i can take in all that information" CB coiled up on the bed and slowly closed her eyes.

her dream started and she was free of googie and there was no evil to be seen anywhere, then suddenly a purple and black smoke surronded her her eyes clouded and blinded, she would hear a tick tocking of a large clock and it would slowly distor into the sound of hard hoofsteps CB opened her eyes to see princess luna standing before her.

this one was a tough one to get written because i really wanna get into the meat of the story, all of which i have already planned out.
