Alexstrasza sat and watched from a distant hill as a village of humans went about their lives, she watched them with envy, how did they go through their lives knowing they could easily be gone the next moment, it baffled her. Ever since the Dragon Aspects and a group of mortal heroes vanquished the fallen Earth Warder, Deathwing, she had tried to come to terms with her new mortality and how she could no longer preform amazing feats of life relation, it was close to impossible for her. "How do they do it, I desperately wish to know" she whispered, bringing her legs close to her body and resting her head on her knees. She couldn't take it anymore, she had been forced to kill two of her closest friends, dragons that were at the point of her life she considered brothers, Neltharian and Malygos, both had been lost to a terrible insanity and revealed through the time ways by Nozdormu, the once Aspect of Time, had learned that even Nozdormu would fall to insanity, creating the Infinite Dragonflight.
She knew of only two others, to the best of her knowledge, that wouldn't fall to insanity and those two were Alexstrasza's sister, Ysera and the new Spell Weaver and Malygos's successor, Kalecgos and didn't Alexstasza didn't even consider him part of her family. Alexsrasza cried, her brothers were to die while the sisters were destined to survive, it just wasn't fair that all they had been through, just for it all to end so violently and cruelly. "Is this what my daughter has been reduced to, crying over her lost powers?" a female voice said from behind Alexstrasza, it was a voice that Alexstrasza hadn't heard in thousands of years, it was the one who had granted a portion of her power unto the red leviathan, the Titan known as Eonar.
All of the Aspects, except Kalecgos because he wasn't alive when they became Aspects, considered their respective Titan who bestowed a portion of their power onto them, a parent. "Eonar, after so long, you finally decide to visit your daughter, should I tell Ysera to expect you?" Alexstrasza said, she was just plain unhappy to extents she had never thought possible "Alex, I know how accustomed to your powers you have grown and I can't allow that, just because their gone doesn't mean your responsibility is gone" Eonar said, her voice was beautiful, like a full orchestra in such perfect harmony, it could sway even the coldest and most stubborn of beings, but Alexstrasza was unaffected for she knew of the trick presented and she possessed similar abilities.
"You wouldn't understand what this is like, you've never been forced to relinquish your powers besides, you and your kind could careless if the Hour of Twilight did come about, it would just present an opportunity for you to start again, A clean slate" Alexstrasza raged, standing and quickly turning to strike at the benevolent creature, but Alexstrasza faltered when she saw nothing was there. "You are wrong on that Daughter, I do care and I think you need to rediscover some sort of purpose" Eonar said, her voice coming from the air around the former Aspect "I wish you luck on your journey, my daughter". The air itself began to swirl around Alexstrasza when she let loose a roar in her surprise "Journey?, What jou-" she was cut off when the air pushed away and Alexstasza found herself in darkness.

The Mane 6 and Spike were in a grove just behind Fluttershy's cottage, they were having a picnic and they were each eating one of Twilight's single dot of icing, cupcakes. "Wow Twilight, I think this is the most frosting i've ever gotten on one of your cupcakes" Rainbow Dash commented, the sarcasm painfully apparent, but that one comment set Twilight off "Are you sure?" Twilight asked, her voice was full of worry and before Rainbow Dash could react, the cupcake was magically taken from her and the icing scrapped off before being returned to Rainbow "Gee, thanks" Rainbow groaned as the others began to laugh.
Fluttershy was giggling as she chewed her food, being careful to not let any food slip down the wrong pipe in her mad fit of laughter. Fluttershy noticed clouds begin to form overhead, "Well then" Rarity said, also noticing the clouds "Looks like our little party is over". Everypony began to place all their things in the picnic basket, everypony but Fluttershy who at some point gone away from the others and now stood on a hilltop, her stance somewhat dramatic and her mane flowed dramatically in the breeze "Fluttershy, are you coming?" Twilight asked, approaching the pegasus, her new wings pressed tightly to her body to keep her warm.
Fluttershy shook her head "No" she said, much to the shock of the other mares "No?" Applejack said, puzzled by the fact that the mare had just said no "Are you feelin' alright sugarcube?", Applejack placed a hoof against Fluttershy's forehead and pulled it away slowly "Nope, no temperature" Applejack said, her gaze questioning as it lay on Fluttershy. "Well then, I guess we'll leave you to, um, whatever" Rainbow said and once she had disappeared to her cloud home, the others had begun heading towards their respective homes.
Fluttershy had no idea why she stood outside in this storm, sometimes one would stray outwards from the Everfree Forest and assault her cottage, but her cottage always survived. This storm though, it was different, as if it were magical in nature and it had surprised the mare pegasus when Twilight hadn't stayed, had she not sensed the magic of this storm?. Lightning began to shoot from the thick gray clouds and assaulting the ground below and all of it was painfully close to Fluttershy, but she didn't run, she waited for whatever kept her here and she didn't have to wait very long.
A bolt of lightning struck extremely close to Fluttershy, but instead of hearing the boom of thunder or the fire of lighting in the grass, at the center of the lightning strike lay a mare. She was a light red color and her mane was a darker shade of red, it was fairly long and it lay on the ground with the unconscious mare. She wore elegant jewelery, four horse shoes of elegant design and a beautiful collar on her neck like what the Mile ponies (Egyptian ponies) would wear and a delicate tiara on her head, but all of these weren't enough to draw attention to some of the physical aspects of the mare.
She was a pegasus but also an alicorn in a sense, her wings were not of the feathered variety, but more so of those who were members of Luna's night guard, leathery wings resembling those of a bat or dragon. Jutting from behind her ears were two horns, but not those of a unicorn or alicorn, instead they were curved and gray, once again reminiscent of a dragon and on those horns were two golden rings on each and on the one's nearest the tips hung gold tokens of an unknown origin, but among the strangest was her Cutie Mark, it was the red head of a dragon in front of orange flames and around those were three green dots, which Fluttershy immediately recognized as symbolizing seeds.
Fluttershy trotted over to the mare and bent over "Um, ma'am are you oka- EEP!" she jumped as the mare moved and groaned, but she didn't awaken, at least Fluttershy knew the mare was alive. "Lets get you inside" Fluttershy said and with a great deal of effort, she lifted the mare onto her back and Fluttershy used her wings to keep the mare from falling off. Agonizingly slow, Fluttershy marched towards her cottage with the mare on her back when she suddenly felt the weight lift from her back and when Fluttershy looked back, she saw her friend, the bear she had given a massage to, lifting the mare and hoisting her over his shoulder.
"Oh thank you" Fluttershy said "Can you carry her to my cottage?", the bear nodded and bean to lumber towards Fluttershy's cottage, the mare was meanwhile still unconscious. Fluttershy, the bear, and the mare entered the cottage, the bear looked at Fluttershy in a way that let her know that he wanted to know where to set the mare down, Fluttershy gestured towards the couch and the bear complied, setting the mare down and exited the cottage when a small white shape shot through the door and towards the couch and it was about to jump onto the couch when it saw that it was already occupied, it was Fluttershy's pet rabbit, Angel, but the little rabbit treated Fluttershy more like the pet then Fluttershy to him. He stomped his foot on the ground to get Fluttershy's attention.
"Oh Angel, I hope you don't mind giving up the couch for a little bit" Fluttershy said, her voice was once again small and mild mannered, Angel just rolled his eyes and hopped off to where ever he was going. Fluttershy looked at the mare, she had been passed out for a while, maybe it was time to attempt to awaken her, she reached over and gently poked the mare, who groaned and rolled over onto her back in response. A sudden splash of water struck Fluttershy and when she looked back to see what had happened, she saw Angel had a bucket, a good amount of water had struck the sleeping mare and her glowing red eyes opened suddenly.
Alexstrasza awoke, her first thought was why she was covered in water, she at first thought she had spent excess time in Northrend and had been covered in frost before headed towards warmer climates, but that wasn't the case for her last memory was of being in a forest and watching humans. "Angel, that was very rude of you" a voice nearby said, the voice was delicate yet stern, a combination that Alex hadn't heard in a long time, she groaned and ran a claw over her face, but something impacted with her face when she did; hard.
"Ow" she cried, jumping up bringing her claw up to rub the sore spot and once again, her face was impacted with something hard. "Um ma'am, why do you keep hitting herself?" the voice asked and now Alexstrasza finally twisted her head to see the source of the voice, it was a small meek creature, an equine to be precise, her coat was a bright yellow and her mane was pink, pressed closely to her body were a pair of feathered wings. "What do you mean?" Alex asked, she moved her body, expecting to stand on a pair of human legs, but when her legs touched ground, she realized just how wrong she was.
Her legs moved differently, more akin to her draconic form and when they hit the ground there was the sound of hooves. She looked down and saw that instead of humanoid legs, or even her draconic legs, there were a pair of horse legs. "Ma'am, are you ok?" the small equine asked and Alex just glanced at her before looked around the room and saw a mirror mounted on the wall. "Please, bring me the mirror" Alex said and the small equine moved, but instead of the large mirror, she presented Alexstrasza with a small hand mirror, the face in the mirror was different from what she had expected.
She saw a face that was similar to the small equines, but it was a bit different, she would have normally believed it to be a trick, but on top of the head on the mirror were horns that were easy to identify as her own. She raised a claw and raised it to her head, she moved it and it touched her horn, that confirmed it in her mind "What happened?" she said, her voice sounded the same, she snapped her head to the small equine "You!, What happened" she yelled at the small creature and it shrank at her outburst and Alex immediately felt bad.
"I- I'm sorry" Alex stammered, she felt bad having yelled at the little pony. "Do you know what happened to me?" her voice was now even and calm, the pony came a bit closer before answering "I found you in the meadow behind my cottage" the equine muttered, her voice barely audible. Alexstrasza contemplated this, why had she been in a meadow and why hadn't she known of this nearby equine, thats when a voice resonated in her head.
"Go ahead"
Alexstrasza knew instinctively that it was Eonar speaking to her, she knew what the Titan meant, introduce herself and that didn't to seem like a bad idea, but she had no idea how to go about, most knew her on sight. "Um, allow me to introduce myself, I am-" Alexstrasza tentatively began when she was interrupted by the door flying open and a pink mare with the fluffiest mane imaginable leaped in.
She bounced in front of Alexstrasza and turned to the yellow mare "Oh my gosh, Fluttershy I cam back to pick up my party cannon and then I see this new pony, who is she why haven't you introduced me yet" she said so quickly that Alex was barely able to hear what she was saying. The pink one turned to her "Hi, My name's Pinkie Pie and i'm so super excited to meet, oh what an amazing party we'll have to welcome you" she was practically bursting at the seams now and it was kinda freaking out Alex.
"Whoa, hold on there a second" Alex said, raising her hooves and moving them in a motion that meant calm down "Maybe I should introduce myself before things get to um, excited" she said, trying to calm down the excited mare.
"Maybe that is a good idea" Pinkie Pie said, she had reverted to some form of civility, but she was still smiling awkward.
"Hello, my name is Alexstrasza" Alex said, her tone even to try and keep the pink one from flipping out but the Pinkie Pie continued her smiling and took hold of the Alex's hoof and shook it up and down wildly.
"It's very nice to meet you Alexstrasza, is it ok i I call you Alex?" Pinkie asked and Alex nodded once the mare had released her grip on her hoof. "I'm always happy to make new friends and I'm so sure you and I will be amazing friends" she said still smiling broadly at Alex and thats when Alex decided it was time to meet the other mare.
Alex turned her head to look at the yellow pegasus who was just gazing shyly at Pinkie and Alex, but there was curiosity in her eyes that wasn't hard to read. "I believe Pinkie mentioned your name was Fluttershy, it's nice to meet you" Alex said and reached tentatively towards the mare. Fluttershy reached cautiously towards Alex's outstretched hoof and gingerly shook it with her own.
"It's very nice to meet you Alex" Fluttershy said quietly, almost mute and Alex offered her best smile to Fluttershy to show she was friendly. "Um, if you don't mind me asking, why were you passed out in my garden after thunder struck the ground?" she asked and Alex gave her a confused expression.
"I was passed out?" she asked
Fluttershy nodded and Alex turned to Pinkie who looked somewhat happy and Pinkie spoke with a speed none thought possible and it caught them off guard.
"Is it because a god-like creature visited you and in the ancient past said creature gave you a portion of their power to stop some end of the world event along with four others and one became evil and you lost your powers defeating him and the god-like creature sent you here for some currently unknown reason?" she said and took a deep breath once she was done.
"How did you know that?" Alex asked, stunned.
"Just a hunch" Pinkie said, shrugging her shoulders, Alex was stunned by her knowledge and Fluttershy was now looking at Alex wide eyed.
"Your from another world, whats the flora and fauna like? Do ponies exist? What does it all look like? Is it pretty?" Fluttershy continued to bombard Alexstrasza with questions and Pinkie soon joined in. "Whoa, slow down, I'll try and answer all your questions" Alex said and for the next few hours she answered Pinkie and Fluttershy's questions about herself, her home and other things.
