The small black pony quitely shifted his position in the soft lounge chair placed in the corner of the wall, careful not to disturb anypony else in the small library, not like there was anypony else except for the librarian, Twilight Sparkle. Having just moved in to Ponyville he didn’t have any friends, and he was also quite shy. Hearing the soft thump of hoof steps approaching him he glanced up to see Twilight walking towards him. Almost immediately he tensed up, recessing . He lowered his head, down to the level of his shoulders, while at the same time he pressed both of his legs together.

As she neared Twilight asked him, “is there anything i can get you. a certain book you’re looking for? Or if you need some paper?” Shimmer quietly mumbled a no thanks, raising his book to indicate that he already had everything he needed. For a moment she seemed to look him up and down.This made Shimmer feel a spark of nervousness, making him look down towards the ground. Twilight Only smiled at him then resumed her buisness of scribbling down notes on a desk at the far end of the library.

Shimmer let out a sigh of relief. Even talking to ponies made him nervous.He quickly blew his tricolored mane in three different shades of purple out of his eye so he could resume his reading. By the end of the day, shimmer had already read several chapters of his book. pleased with his progress he packed his things and was getting ready to leave. that was when twilight came up to him and asked him, “Would you like to come get a drink with me. I can leave spike in charge of the library, and i need get out for a bit.”

Shimmer felt his cheeks turn red. He had never actually drunk alcohol before, but he didn’t want to hurt her feelings. Quietly, he managed to stammer out, “Y-y-yeah, i-ii guess so.”

She maintained a stoic expression. slowly a slight smile came to her face. She said, “Great i know just the place.” she grabbed his arm and led him towards the door, on their way out she yelled, “SPIKE, IM GOING OUT FOR A BIT” Spike yelled back his acknowledgement, as they left. Shimmer followed twilight through the evening streets towards a large red barn just outside of town that said on the sign Sweet Apple Tavern. When they entered a young mare with her mane in a ponytail who was wearing a cowboy hat waved them over.

“Howdy Twilight” She greeted them. “Who’s yer friend?” The mare jumped over the counter and closely inspected Shimmer. A little startled,He backed up a few steps, bumping into Twilight. He would have fallen over if the mare from the counter hadn’t caught his hoof. She asked him, “What’s your name sug?”

“Applejack”, Twilight commented, “This is Shimmer, He was at the library all day, so i decided to bring him him along with me.”
“Ah, so i take that yall will be having the usual”

“Yup!” came Twilight's reply over the loudness of the bars other ponies loud. being so loud Shimmer felt very out of place. Dancing on the pool table a pink earth pony was creating a hell of a ruckous while a different cyan blue pegasus with a distintively rainbow mane was trying to get pink one off of it so that she could take her winning shot of the game. When the pink one finally cooperated nearly every pony gathered as the cyan blue pegasus easily knocked the three remaining balls into the holes. “AW YEAH” she cried out in a tomboyish voice, sending loud cheers everywhere in the room.

Applejack turned to shimmer and asked. “what can i get you hon”

Having never had alcohol before, Shimmer thought about it for a moment. “Something light please.”

“coming right up.” With a wink, applejack Turned behind the counter, retrieving a bottle of light beer for the young pony. In a sense she thought that he was cute. After she gave Shimmer the drink , she watched him sniff the opening of the bottle. He grabbed the beer with both his hooves, tipping the bottle so that only a mouthful of the liquor poured into his mouth. He winced at the drink lightly. He decided that he liked it and quickly finished off the rest. Applejack leaned in close as she wispered into his ear."For what it's worth sugar cube, i'm sorry." Shimmer was confused, he looked at her then looked at twilight. Twilight was facing him with an ominous smile on her face. The next moment he was feeling lightheaded and dizzy. He was about to ask, "Wha-?", but everything suddenly went black.Shimmer collapsed onto the bar counter

Shimmer awoke in a cold concrete room, facing upwards, staring at the colorless ceiling. Dazed and confused, he tried to move, but he found that his all of his hooves were tied up so that he was completely spread out belly up. On top of that there was no surface underneath him. He was being held up five feet off the ground by the ropes that bound him. He began to thrash wildly in a terrified trance. When he tried to yell out and scream for help, he discovered that his mouth was covered with a muzzle. Slowly, his fit resided from trying desperately to break his binds to crying out helplessly, tears running down his face.

After what seemed like hours that dragged on for eternities a flash of light appeared in the room. While it dimmed down, shimmer saw twilight emerge from it. Shimmer perked up and to tried catch her attention to set him free. He made loud muffled noises through the restricting muzzle. Twilight only circled around him, ignoring his muffled cries and pleas to let him go, while she examined and took mental notes about him. finally she snapped at him , “Will you shut the fuck up, ?” i’ll let you down when i’m done.” When that didn't work she jabbed her elbow into his rib cage with full force, leaving a big red mark on his side. “I said shut up.” The poor stallions cried died down as tears ran down his face, but he didn’t stop completely.

When twilight finally untied the ropes, she used her magic to untie them all at once , except for the muzzle,so that shimmer fell to the ground with a loud thump. He tried to move, and get up, only he found himself pinned belly up by twilight’s hoof. She had a stern look on her face that was soon replaced by a wry smile,. “look at you”, she mocked. “pinned down at my hooves. Vulnerable, and helpless. Terrified and confused, shimmer could only follow one instinct, run. He Jerk to the side, catching twilight off guard, which in turn, caused her to lose her balance. Shimmer seized the opportunity. He Darted over to the spot where twilight had first appeared, scanning for a trap door of some sorts. But there wasn't anything there. Shimmers breath picked up, he began frantically feeling around for a trap-door or a button or switch of some sort.Still, there was no such thing. He felt himself being lifted into the air. He was unwillingly turned around, and forced to face twilight. All shimmer could do to help himself was to look away, avoiding eye contact with her. She sighed, but said nothing.

"please don't hurt me," Shimmer wimpered pitifully. Hoping to appeal to her merciful side. But to no avail, Twilight's expression dimmed, She used her magic to fling him into the wall with a considerable amount of force. Dazed, he was about to get up, however, twilight was having none of that. She picked him up again with her magic, and easily put him back into the binding ropes despite his resurfaced thrashing. To her satisfaction, he was back in a position in which he could no longer move at his own free will. yet he still struggled.

Twilight approached the again helpless Shimmer. “It looks as if i’m going to have to lay down the rules. Seeing as i have very few , they should be easy to follow, One, Don’t run, we’re in a chamber that only i know about and only i can get to by teleportation. It’s over forty feet underground of the ponyville sewers, any attempts to escape will result in a punishment. Seeing as you didn’t know the rules, i’ll give you a pass just this one time.
