Rumble and his/her mistake.

Rumble woke up in the morning and rubbed his violet eyes. He went downstairs and got ready for school. And yes, Thunderlane did write a slip for Rumble so no one would think he skipped school on purpose. Once he finished his breakfast he packed his saddlebag and left for school. Once he got there he went into the classroom and gave Cheerilee the slip. "You had a problem?" She asked as she read the note. "Would you mind telling me?"

"It's... kinda personal..." Rumble replied as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh, I understand completely." Cheerilee replied with a grin as Rumble went to his seat and the bell rung as everypony took their seats, chatting among themselves. "Settle down, Settle down. Today we will be learning how to..." She started talking about science and gravity and other things Rumble didn't hear as he tuned out. After what seemed like minutes the bell rung signalling that it was time for recess and all the foals ran outside. As Rumble was running outside he heard someone call his name and he turned to see a orange coated filly with a magenta mane. 'Why does she want me?' He wondered.

"Yes?" Rumble asked shyly.

"Why weren't you here yesterday?" Scootaloo asked as Rumble gave the same answer he gave to Cheerilee.

"It's personal." Rumble said a little to loudly which caused some ponies to gather around to see what was happening.

"Come on. You can tell me!" Scootaloo said as almost the whole class gathered around.

"... I... I already t-told you. I-it's p-p-personal." Rumble said as he started to sink.

"Tell me!" She pressed. "Tell me tell me tel-" She was interrupted by a gold and blue explosion around Rumble which sent smoke flying around him again. When the smoke cleared he saw the whole crowd staring at him, all looking confused and shocked. He then looked down at himself as he saw that he was once again... a filly.

"No..." He mumbled as he started to blush in embarrassment as everypony started laughing. After he started to blush he cried and flew home, passing a surprised Thunderlane in the hallway as he flew into his room and locked the door and sobbed.
