April 31st
The rain battered against the car windows. Clouds formed and lightning flashed through the gloomy sky. The roads where hard to drive on due to the flooding with rain, but I either took the risk or froze to death. I decided to give the storm a chance to settle and sat in my car for half an hour.
I took out my iphone and watched some episodes of MLP:FIM. I'm a really big fan of the show, even though it can to an end 5 years ago. The show ended with 5 seasons and almost every brony out there says that the finale was the biggest let down yet. I for some reason felt an urge to watch the episode again and found myself tapping on it.
The episode played on, and I was still waiting for my favourite part of the episode. It was currently at Twilghts part with Discord just now but there where only 2 minutes left of it. It couldn't be possible though! Could it? The CMC 'where supposed to be included in this episode. They never got their cutie marks, but where still an important part of the show.
This wasn't right though. The CMC where supposed to be in the clubhouse. Rarity was supposed to drag Sweetie Belle home and leave only Applebloom and Scootaloo. I forgot about the confusion of the episode and started up my car.
CLANK
"Oh no! You have GOT to be kidding me!" I yelled as I realised I would have to come out of the car to fix it. I sighed and stepped out of my car only to be immediately pelted and drenched with raindrops. I quickly retrieved the tool kit from the trunk of my car. The rain continued to pelt me as I tampered with the car's engine to enable it to work.
"YES! FINALLY!" I quickly ducked back into my car and started the engine.
"Ah, music to my ears!" I sighed. I was relieved to get back into the car. This was going to be a pleasant ride home. Not.
"Ugghhhhhh!" I groaned, as I closed my front door after stepping into the house and somewhat flooding it. I flicked the light switch in the hall and was pretty pissed when it didn't go on. I tried the one in the living room. Nope. Kitchen. Still nope. Great! The power was out! No I'll only FREEZE to death!
The house was silent. I usually had one of my younger brother's or sisters come, but the weather had ruined that to. My boot's squelched as I trudged up to my bed room. I was still quite childish, even though tomorrow I would be turning 25.
My bedroom was covered in small My little Pony plushes, toy's and posters. I even had my own personalized My Little Pony laptop case! I walked over to my bed, where my covers where covered in Applejack's.
I really liked Applejack. Just seeing her made me want to smile. She always seemed so amazing and I really wanted to be like her. Like a young child trying to be like their favourite singer.
I changed into my pyjamas and my robe. It was cold so I had to wear it to keep warm. I placed the dirty, sopping wet clothes into the laundry basket and descended upstairs. It was going to be a long night.
May 1st
"Urggh" I groan as I sit up in bed. My head hurts probably from last night. I'm guessing I got the flu. Wait a second. Flu doesn't make things look Larger does it? I feel dizzy as I stand up and almost topple back on to my bed. Everything certainly looks bigger. I don't feel nauseous when I stand or walk though, so I can't have the flu. My forehead is not to hot.
I open the door to my en-suite bathroom and study myself in the mirror. I look different. Did I ACTUALLY SHRINK! Are my eyes just playing tricks on me? I go back into my room and look in the full body mirror. "W-what the-!?" I've shrunk at least 7 centimetres! Will I keep shrinking!? I hope not!
Okay calm down Shannon, just let it drop. I hear my phone and pick it up of the dressing table.
Can't make it today, sorry Shannon, still luv's ya please don't be mad!

"Well, this sucks. Best birthday ever." I groan. I feel a sudden twinge of pain in my head and wince at it. "OWW! The HELL was that!?" I yell.
Diziness washes over me and I sit down for a minute. I decide to forget it and let it pass a I get off my chair and go get some breakfast. I stumble don the stairs, still feeling dizzy. I hold on to the banister for support and sit at the breakfast bar in the kitchen.
Knock Knock!
"I'm coming! I yelled, stumbling over to the door. It seems th diziness is slowly fading though. I open the door and see two of my friends waiting at the door. Callum and Rebecca.
"AGH! Shannon? What happened to you?" Rebecca whimpered, placing her arm around my neck.
"What do you mean?" I asked her, a little confused at her udden outburst.
"Ummm, Shannon how the hell did you get smaller!?" Callum yelled, clearly puzzled.
"Huh? Oh I dunno, just... well that is I... Oh NEVER MIND!" I yelled and took Rebecca's arm off me. "So uh, how about I get the food out and we can start partying!" I smiled.
"Wait. What about Aimee, and Trisha?" Rebbeca asked.
"Storm." I said simply, frowning.
"Well, food sounds good to me!" Callum chuckled. Callum has always been a sucker for food.
"Ughhhhh, to much wine..." I groaned, sitting up and rubbing my head. Callum had passed out on the couch, and Rebbeca was lying across the table.
"Well, that was fun." I yawned. "Best go to bed." I walked off to my bedroom wondering how I had slept through Rebbeca's snoring. I gently nudged open my door and belly flopped onto my bed. One more thought passed through my mind before I fell asleep.
Why did everything seem so much smaller?
