Twilight has always loved Princess Celestia, and the princess did the same, just not in the same way. So when Twilight figures that it's the inevitable loneliness holding them back, she resolves to become an alicorn, immortal like the one she loved.

However, things quickly go wrong and Princess Celestia has to take matters into her own hooves. She has a journey to take - one that will show her that there is always more than meets the eye.
