For the longest of times since the Royal Canterlot Wedding, the princess of the sun and the queen of the Changelings have been meeting each other in an attempt to make peace between their two species. Things turn a bit sour when Celestia just leaves one of their most important meetings.

Chrysalis sees it as a perfect opportunity to give her arch nemesis a declaration of war. A declaration not even the mighty princess of the sun could see coming.
