The Eternity War

Warning: When I say this is an alternate universe, I mean it.

Two hundred and thirty three years ago, the Solar Empire opened fire upon the world of Nocturnus Three, killing billions of ponies on the surface. That event was known as the Nocturnian Massacre, a rallying cry went through all the NLR worlds, "Nocturnus Eternus" became the battle cry for multiple mariner and naval fighters and pilots. Three weeks later, an NLRN commodore whose family was on Nocturnus Three, took his carrier and its fighter escort to the SE world of Canter Six, and, after working his crew into a frenzy, unleashed every fighter, bomber, mortar and canister shell upon the populace below. That was the official start of The Eternity War.
