[The beginning of this chapter begins by taking a look what goes on in side the main characters head. So this first part is mainly a flash back of his childhood. This will happen throughout the rest of the story.]

Lucious green grass extended as far as the eye could see. A few houses were strung out across the land along with a large castle perched just behind the buildings. Two filly’s were playing and laughing in an open field not to far from the castle walls. "Come on Andy you know you cant beat me. I’m the oldest and the strongest and some day I’m going to rule this land just like father."

The gray little Pegasus crossed his hooves and started to pout. "I can do anything you can Mark, Quit treating me like a baby." Mark just snickered at his little brothers willingness to be grown up.

"All right then if you think your so grown up then lets play a game." "What’s it called," the curious little Pegasus asked. "Its called hide and seek. You close your eyes and count to 10. Then after your done counting you say, ready or not here I come! And you got to try to find me."

"Ok that sounds like fun. Ready?" The little gray filly then covered his eyes with his hooves then began counting. "1…..2…….3......" the little unicorn then ran around franticly for a hiding spot."4….5….6….7……. "As the little Pegasus continued to count, everything began to become very blurry as the little filly’s voice became distant.

Scene break...

Twilight and Rarity carried the unconscience Pegasus to the library carrying him up the stairs removing his tattered armor and set him on twilights bed. The two mares were still a bit shook up about what had just happened. They stared intently at this strong mysterious looking stallion and they couldn’t help but blush slightly. Twilight noticed how the mask covered his entire head showing only his eyes. She was curious as to why he chose to hide his face. Apparently Rarity had the same idea as she slowly began to remove the mask. Twilight stopped her though.

"What are you doing?"

"Oh come now darling aren’t you a bit curious? If he looks this strong he must have a dashing face to go with it."

"Its an invasion of someones privacy Rarity. Why don’t you go get a wet rag to put on his head."

"Oh fine groaned Rarity, before beginning to walk out the door, but stopped to say one thing before trotting of to get the rag. Dibs!"

Twilight just shook her head before turning back to the stallion. She looked up and down the masculine colt. Then her checks glowed a bright pink. She looked over her shoulder then turned back and slowly began to remove the mask. When the mask was at his lips, his eyes flew open and on instance he grabbed twilight and flung her on her back on the other side of the bed. He reared back ready to strike the fool that dared to touch his mask but stopped dead when he saw who it was. Their eyes met and all at once everything just seemed to disappear around them. They starred into each others eyes quite intently. Both of them were thinking the same thing at that moment."Those eyes."
