Thunderlane, a prominent (and apparently, constantly sick) worker in the local weather team. Comes from Manehatten, constantly takes care of his little brother (who tends to get into more messes than he's worth), and generally has a good time in the village he's come to call home.

Though, he knows that Ponyville has its own share of mysteries that make it quite a bit more interesting than the usual city. One such mystery being the strangely low number of stallions in town. He finds it a good idea to investigate this issue, and see if it's merely stallions leaving town for greater pastures...

Or something far more mysterious.
