The two sole Survivors of Team Luna stood silently in the large main hall. Their companions and somewhat friends (I’m sure they went to a few bars together right? Maybe? Maybe not?) laid splattered and torn on the ground. Killed then rekilled (that’s totally not a word.) a strange situation for sure. Apple bloom took in a deep breath before crouching down to look at the fallen (and possibly loot their extra guns and bullets .).

“Jeez it’s feels like we’ve been here for like a decade or something…” Pip said as he looked around the room. “Like the plot just stopped out of nowhere and nothings happened.”

Apple bloom nodded in agreement as she looked to her hands. The girl tilted her head for a moment as she wiggled her little digits. She tried to stand back onto her feet but it felt almost wrong like she’d never stood on them before. The young woman staggered backwards falling onto her bottom. Pip looked back in concern as he moved to help her up. Apple Bloom took his hand as he pulled her back to her feet.

“Does something feel odd to you?” Apple bloom tilted her head. “Like…something’s changed…drastically?”

Pip chewed his lip for a moment.
“Now that you mention it…something does feel odd…”

The two paused for a moment as they heard a sound from the side of the room. Turning they saw a small pink horse holding a shotgun; the gun was trained on them.
“Everything’s fine just stick to the script…” the pink pony said as she cocked the gun.

Apple Bloom nodded slowly.
“Right…”

“Listen.” Pip said quickly as he pulled Apple Bloom to him. “We have to find a way out of here. No tell what else this terrible place has in store for us. I’m sure there’s a way to turn off the shutters. We just have to find it.”

“My friends are still in here…maybe. We gotta find them too.” Apple Bloom said.

“Apple Bloom….” Pip said softly. “After what just happened do you really think…”

“I’m sure of it.” Apple Bloom said confidently before a grimace began to form on her face. “They just have to be…”

“Well either way standing in this bloody hall isn’t doing us any good is it?” Pip said. “Cant be standing here for another nine or ten years yeah?”

Apple Bloom agreed as her eyes drifted to the staircase at the center of the massive hall.
“Guess we’re headed up then yeah?”

“Guess so.” Pip agreed.

A sudden alarm began to ring out in the room.

“Oh what now…” Pipsqueak said as he looked around.

“Nothing good I’m sure.” Apple bloom said.

‘Bio weapon test beginning in t-minus 60 seconds.’ A robotic voice chimed in from a speaker in the walls.

“Bio weapon!?” Pipsqueak said with widened eyes.

“What does t-minus mean…” Apple bloom pondered before shaking her head bringing herself back to reality. “No time to think about that.”

Pipsqueak swiftly pulls his pistol out training it on the walls, windows and any other opening.
“This is bad…really bad…I think.”

“I would imagine…I don’t think an alarm would sound if something good was happening.” Apple bloom said as she pulled her own gun out.

Apple bloom scanned the room quickly before her eyes found a duffle bag half way across the room. She squinted slightly before her eyes widened.
“Pip!? There is literally a duffle full of guns over there!?”

“How did we miss that!?” Pip blinked before flailing his arms. “No seriously. How!? How did we not see that? It’s right next to Lemon Hearts!”

“Who cares! No time to think about how strangely convenient this all is!“ Apple bloom said as she rushed across the room.

Apple Bloom slide across the floor slamming her body into the bag. She recoiled for a second from the pain but swiftly shook the it away. Her hands dug greedily into the bag pulling out various guns of all sizes. There were grenades, handgun clips, cases of shotgun shells and even a small automatic turret. Apple Bloom’s could kiss whoever packed such a glorious bag.

“Thank you deus ex maxima!“ Apple bloom said silently to herself.

Pipsqueak watched Apple Bloom with bated breath.
“I’ll be damned…we just might get through th-“

Pipsqueak’s words were cut off as something heavy began to slide out across the marble floor. Pipsqueak closed his eyes and slowly turned his head. The wall directly behind Pipsqueak had opened up; bad on it own of course however the strange creature standing behind Pipsqueak was more troubling.

The beast was reptilian in nature with scales all across its body. Its large arms almost reached the floor as it took a step forward. Each of the creature’s hands had 4 six or eight inch claws. The beast narrowed its eyes at Pipsqueak before making a chirping sound.

“Oh come on…this…this is just…not fair…” Pip said softly.

Apple bloom Shuffled through the bag; deaf to everything else in the room. The only sound was the clanging of the guns she was putting on the floor and her own heart beating swiftly in her chest. A sudden cry broke her almost trance.

“Pip!?” Apple Bloom said quickly as she turned back to the other side of the room

“Apple we are in trouble! Serious trouble!” Pipsqueak said quickly.

Apple Bloom nodded slowly with her face growing pale.
“Y-yeah I-i can see that…”

“This is…bad…” Pipsqueak said as he eyed the creature. “The bloody creature of the black lagoon is here!”

Apple bloom put a hand to her mouth.
“Pip…you…it…it…”

The young man would nod if he could which unfortunately was impossible at the moment. A severed head as he currently was couldn’t exactly do that. The creature’s powerful hand had cleaved Pipsqueak’s head clean from his body. It was quite remarkable honestly; there was less blood then one would think. Where Pip’s head had landed at least; his neck had become fountain spewing blood all across the ground.

The beast looked at its work then back to its clawed hand as it slowly licked the crimson off its sharpened talons. It croaked and made low hisses as its yellowed eyes watched Pipsqueak’s body fall to it its knees then to the floor. The beast let out another chirp as a second beast began to step out from the open wall.

“Pip! Pip we gotta…we gotta do something!” Apple Bloom said quickly. “There’s gotta be something!?”

“I…don’t think this curable Apple…” Pipsqueak’s severed head said. “Honestly I don’t even know how I’m still talking to you.”

“A hospital! We can get you to a hospital!” Apple Bloom said frantically. “You’re going to be ok!”

“Apple.” Pipsqueak said.

“No…” Apple Bloom shook her head. “This can’t be happening…not like this…”

Several more green scaled creatures began to step into the room. The beasts were distracted by the blood fountain in front of them.

“Listen…” Pipsqueak said quickly.

Apple bloom sniffled as her limbs had given out on her.

“Apple…I might be…but you…you’re the main character. Your strong Apple Bloom.” Pipsqueak said as he struggled to speak. “This…this is just the first real chapter. You’re not…not some throw away…not like me. You’re part of the story summery. You have plot armor…like super plot armor…”

The two heard a shotgun cock but Pip didn’t care.
“Find them…” Pip said through shallowed breaths. “I know you will…your Apple Bloom…the only pon- I mean person I know, respect…and….um…loved…”

Apple bloom sniffled with tears running down her cheek.
“Pip…”

“Y-you…better not…follow me…too fast…” Pip said as he gave her a gentle smile as slowly closed his eyes.

“But seriously.” Pip said as he swiftly opened his eyes. “There’s like a doesn of those monsters now so you really need to step up.”

Pip blinked for a moment as the two stared at each other.
“And with that…bleh” Pip’s tongue stuck out his eye closed slightly as life left him.

Apple Bloom closed her eyes; a hand drifted to her face wiping the tears from her eyes. The sadness in her heart was quickly disappearing as a great anger was swelling.
“You…no good…bucking salamanders…” Apple Bloom said through gritted teeth.

The creatures croaked and Chirped as they shifted their focus onto Apple Bloom.

“I’m done…with this weakness in me. Now on…” she said as she kicked up a shotgun and an automatic machine gun into her hands. “…I ain’t taking shit from you or any other thing this place throws at me.”

Apple bloom spun the two weapon in her hands as the green creatures began to charge.

“You’re all gonna die here!” Apple Bloom said with venom in her voice. “Ya hear me!”

Kinda just felt like writing. Sorry it took literal years for this. Been busy with life and work and all. Had a few hours and some motivation. Hopefully it’s not terrible. Anyways I’ll try to do more of this story.
