Cider Apples: Winesap's Story

A catastrophic fire broke out at Blossom Acres today, killing three and severely injuring two. Among the casualties were Valencia, the dean of Manehattan University, and Baldwin, the owner of Blossom Acres. The third was their sister Castellana. The injured ponies are Castellana's child Berna and Valencia and Baldwin's child Winesap. Both are in critical condition at the Canterlot Royal Hospital.

I was eight then. Both Berna and I suffered third degree burns. I made it out, somehow, Healed perfectly, no scars.

Berna died.

I'd been raised with the Oranges all my life. My mama's family. I thought I'd go to my papa's family, the Apples. I'd never met them, but I had no other choice.
