I was confused, but I trusted the couple. Before I knew it we had arrived at a library, well a tree, or a library. I didn’t know. They led me inside where a purple unicorn greeted me, along with a baby...dragon? I had never met a dragon, I was always told they were evil and horrible creatures. But this one was different. He smiled before shutting his lime green eyes and falling asleep in a small basket on the floor. “Hi there,” said the unicorn. I tilted my head to find a pair of wings hidden. The mare blushed, folding her wings tighter.
“A-are you a princess too?” I asked, “I am Dusk, princess of the stars.” She sat me down, explaining how Princess Celestia had made her into a princess but that she had never heard of a princess of stars. Princess Celestia...Princess Celestia. The name echoed in my head but I ignored it and found my way upstairs to a smaller bed beside Twilight’s. I tossed and turned the entire night until it was dawn. I rubbed my eyes with my hooves and stood, stretching my wings. No one was home. I was scared, did they hate me, why don’t I have a family? I sighed and decided to head outside to explore. It was early and a couple of shops were opening. I looked side to side, my eyes grew wider as I was fascinated. My hooves touched the pebble floor and my eyes grew larger as I examined the entire town. The sun was beginning to rise and the bits of sun peeking through the clouds warmed my back and I stood still, soaking it all in. I saw a sofa clerk selling quills, asparagus stands, and... something grabbed me and pulled me inside a cozy room. It seemed to be a bakery. I scratched my head and looked up to find a excited, bouncing mare. She was a bubblegum pink with a...well, fluffy mane. I handed me a cake and gave a speech which she spoke so quickly I could only catch,
"New....friends...don’t...know...anyone...cake...party!” I nodded before rushing out the door. I had heard from somepony not to trust ponies who hand out free candy, I applied that lesson here. I carried on, trying to find a place to stay. I looked up to find the most amazing thing I had ever seen. I gorgeous city in the sky. Pegasus buzzed around it, circlings it’s pearl, white clouds that seemed to be calling my name. I bolted upwards without thinking and...CRASH! All went black.
