It was a beautiful day in PonyVille when Sweetie Belle just knew she would finally get her cutie mark, of course, it wouldn't be easy, but it would be totally worth it. Sweetie Belle was looking through some of her older sister Rarity's old songs she wrote when she was just a filly. But just then, she found the perfect song just for her. It was perfect! It fitted Sweetie Belles personality just right! She made up the tune that matched the lyrics and sang "I'm a pretty filly, oh as sweet as a ruby! My horn is oh so pretty and love it's magic too! Oh! I'm prettier than roses! Oh! I'm prettier than Diamonds! Prettier than anything!" Sweetie Belle sang as she noticed the song wasn't finished. It was probably the universe trying to tell her that SHE should finish the song, and with that, she had the biggest hopes up that she would finally get her cutie mark. "O.K Sweetie Belle! You can do this! Think! Think! Think! You've made up lyrics for songs before! Aha! I've got it!" said Sweetie Belle as she started to sing up her ideas. "Sweet as a button on a mares dress! Sparkley than ever with diamonds every where! With my button dress! With my diamonds! With my red roses! Oh! I'm complete!" sang Sweetie Belle as she felt a spark burst on her flank and then what she was very excited to see was a cutie mark that looked like a heart with music notes on it. "YES! I got my Cutie Mark! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Oh Yay! Oh My Celestia! I've finally done it! I don't have to try anymore! It's finally here! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! I've GOT to go and show the girls!" shouted Sweetie Belle excitedly. Sweetie Belle ran out to show her friends and said "Hey! Scootaloo! AppleBloom! I've finally got my cutie mark! Isn't that exciting!?" asked Sweetie Belle. " Oh! Sweetie Belle! That's awesome!" exlaimed Scootaloo as she leaned over trying to see what it was. "That's wonderful Sweetie Belle! I'm so happy fer' ya!" said AppleBloom also leaning over to see what the cutie mark was. "Thanks! Well, I best be going! I don't want to be late for showing off my cutie mark-Ahem! I mean…. I don't want to be late for school! Hehe!" denied Sweetie Belle as she ran off saying "Well gotta go bye!" said Sweetie Belle with a sheepish grin as she then ran off once again.
