all that could be heard in the dimly lit tavern was the low murmur of the assorted conversations going around the room,all mixing together so that one could only understand the one they were taking part in. a woman with green eyes smiled.this was one of her favorite places to relax after a long day.
"hush,hush..."she said,quieting her friends who were sitting at the same table as her."I'd like to make a toast..."at this everybody at the table sat up straight,picking up their drinks.
"to the solar empire,and the celestial tyrant,Celestia,may the streets of canterlot run red with her blood!"she said jokingly.they all raised their mugs,clinked them together,and each took a swig.before they could get back to their conversations, a crossbow bolt came whizzing across the room,embedding itself in the wall behind the green eyed woman.
"what now?"asked a hooded man sitting at the table exasperatedly.
"it is I,shadestar! I shall darken all the stars that shine over equis,including Celestia's sun,and you are powerless to stop me!"shouted a storm cloud-grey mare before jumping out a window.
"we can never catch a break,can we?"asked an ebony eyed woman as they all stood up.
"nope."said the green eyed woman with a smile as she picked up her longbow.

"very good,we shall sail for the ottoman lands on the morrow." twilight said "you are dismissed,lieutenant."
"milady,since when did york acquire a bay?"asked her man at arms,spike.
"since the queens willed it,spike." she replied. "now,gather my knights,if we are to leave for the ottoman lands by the morn,we need to leave for york as soon as possible."
"of course,milady." he said with a bow as he left.a servant entered the room and bowed before her.
"milady,someone from the mighty empire of japan has come to see you about your attack on the ottomans." he said.
"let him in then."she said.a Japanese man in armor entered the room and bowed.
"I am Akai Naomasa,commander of house samugato's spearmen,and I would like to aid you against the ottomans."he said.
"has your master given you permission?"she asked
"yes,lady sparkle."he answered.
"then you are welcome to help us.you will march southward form your with lady shy's archers." she explained. "we are leaving york for the ottoman lands in the morning,so you best make haste if you wish to be on time."
"then,with you permission,I will take my leave,lady sparkle."he said with a bow.
"by all means,gather you men and leave as soon as you're ready." she said.
