Chapters Princess Twilight Sparkle looked out her window and watched her six friends chat away about something she couldn't hear. She wondered what they were talking about when the door to the Golden Oaks Library opened and something came running in. As the running got closer to Twilight, she got a lamp ready to knock out the intruder. The door opened to her bedroom, a purple adult size dragon with green spikes running from his head to the tip of his spade tail. It was Spike, and he was panting from running a long distance to get to her. Spike looked up and saw a lamp hovering above him, he pointed a claw up above his head. Twilight dropped the lamp down at the drakes feet, and asked, "Spike what's the matter?"
Before Spike could reply, he belched out a rolled up scroll with the royal seal from Princess Celestia. He held the scroll in his claw and handed it to Twilight. Twilight levitated the scroll out of the drake's claw, unrolled the parchment, and began to read the message from her mentor.
My faithful student and Princess Twilight,
I'm sorry to inform you of this late, but your friends the other elements and you have to come to the castle. I need to perform a new spell that you might not agree on but I have no choice but to wipe your and your friends's memory, since you're an alicorn now and you're friends won't live as long as you do. I'm sorry my new princess but I'm ask you to bring your friends and yourself in for memory loss. I hope you make the right decision Twilight.

Twilight dropped the scroll from her magic grip and looked down at the floor of her bedroom. A million thoughts ran through her head. Wiping my memory. My friends memories too. What could? No she would never do that would she? No not this time. I'm going to do whatever it takes to save my friends and myself from this. With new found determination in her eyes, Twilight levitated a quill, a ink jar, and a piece of paper, and she began to write her letter back to her mentor. She then looked over at Spike who was reading the scroll, Spike's eyes widen what he just read and asked, "Twilight are you going to really take us all to Canterlot to get our memories erased?"
Twilight sighed, she knew she couldn't lie to her assistant, so she replied, "No Spike. I need you to go get the others and bring them here at once. This is something they probably don't want to hear."
"Okay Twilight. I go get them."
"Thanks Spike my number one assistant."
Spike then ran out of Twilight's room, running out of the library, and ran towards Carousel Boutique. Twilight resumed her focus on her letter and began to write back.
Dear Princess Celestia,
I'm sorry but I'm going to make a run for it with my friends and never coming to Canterlot to get our memories erased. I'm sorry but I don't care if my friends die before I do. The bonds we made through thick, and thin we made them together. This is my decision and my alone. This is my last letter to you. Where we will go? I'm not sure, but I'm hoping you don't find us and never capture us for any reason. I'm sorry princess.

Twilight folded up the scroll, and placed a seal of her own and with a flick of her magic the rolled up scroll disappeared. Twilight then began to pack the things she might need, a few books, blankets, pillows, gems for Spike to eat, and a picture frame with a photo graph of Twilight and her friends surrounding her mentor with smiles plastered on their faces. Twilight felt a tear escape her eye when she heard the main library door open. Twilight levitated her luggage in front of her, closing her bedroom door gently behind her, and walked down the stairs to inform her friends.

At Canterlot Castle
Princess Celestia sat in her throne looking at pictures of a certain queen, when a letter appeared in front of her. She unraveled the scroll and began to read it to herself. Celestia had a confused expression written on her face, as she descended from the throne, she lit up her horn until it was covered in a bright yellow, and she teleported to her bedroom. As she was outside the bedroom doors, she gently knocked on the door. She heard a sing song voice say from the inside, "Cooome in."
Celestia opened the door to her bedroom, she closed the door behind her, and once Celestia was inside her room, she saw the creature wearing a custom uniform. She wore a little white head dress on top of her head also there was a black crown. Her long dark blue mane and tail were very long and had a few holes, holes were all around her front and back hooves, her bright green eyes shined in a dark lit room at night, her pupils were dilated, her wings were in her sides, her flank was nice thin and curvy. She had no cutie mark on her, and instead of teeth, she had fangs. It was Chrysalis, the Queen of Changelings, and she was smiling at Celestia.
"Celly what brings you here on this fine lovely day?" Chrysalis asked, happily. She trotted up towards Celestia and nuzzled her affectionately.
"I came here to ask you a question Chrysy." Celestia said, nuzzling the changeling back.
"Well what do you want to ask me?"
"Did you tell my faithful student that I was going to erase her and her friend's memories?"
"Yes I did."
"Why would you do that?"
"All for the sake of laughing joke."
"Well this joke of yours made my student decide to leave and never return to Ponyville or Canterlot."
"The Princess wants to do what?!!" Rainbow Dash yelled, her eyes widen as saucers as Twilight continued to tell them the news.
"The Princess wants to erase all of our memories because I'm an alicorn and she doesn't want me to remember you all." Twilight said, sadly. Showing her her mentor's letter to her friends.
"Are y'all sure bout this Twi? Should we just y'all visit her at the castle and let her tell us what's the plan?" Applejack asked, trying to comfort her.
"I agree darling. We should just go to Canterlot, listen to Princess Celestia's plan, and we tell her our opinions about this plan of hers." Rarity chimed in on the conversation, her eyes sparkling at her idea.
"Well you girls, I told Princess Celestia that I wouldn't come to Canterlot or find us anywhere in
Ponyville." Twilight said, chuckling nervously.
Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash dropped their jaws what Twilight just said. Except Pinkie Pie who was hopping around the library smiling, Fluttershy who was hiding behind Twilight's study desk, and Spike trying to adjust to the situation at hoof or in his case claw. He began to ponder for a moment with jazz playing in his head mentally, he looked out at one of the library windows, when he saw shadow of something move. Curiosity got the better of the mid size adult drake, as he walked out of the library, no pony seeing him leave or paying much attention to him.
Good thing he wasn't taller than t he door itself, other wise he might have to duck under to get out of the library. As Spike walked out the door, as he began to look for the thing he saw outside the window of the library. He looked both ways looking for the whatever he saw outside. He walked around the library when he caught a bug like pony rolling on the ground laughing. Spike walked up the creature and looked down at her, his face showing confusion, as he asked, "What are you doing her Chrysalis?"
Chrysalis looked up at the tall drake standing above her, as she kept laughing her flank off. The Changeling Queen stopped laughing, slowly getting up from the ground, and she replied, "Well I was here to apologize for a prank gone wrong. But I couldn't help but laugh at the expressions her and her friends made after I came here from Canterlot."
Chrysalis then laughed again, this time leaning into Spike's chest, trying to muffle her laughter from being heard to loudly. She kept laughing, and laughing, and laughing, until she passed put from the lack of oxygen. Spike held the unconscious Changeling Queen in his arms as he began to panic. What do I do? What do I do? What do I do? Spike asked himself as he looked around for an answer. Then an idea formed in his head, as an evil smile formed on his face as he looked at Chrysalis again.
Spike stretched out his wings, an unconscious Chrysalis in his claws, as he flew up towards a certain part of the library, that Twilight doesn't know about. He dropped Chrysalis on a thick tree branch, and he looked inside a small alcove. Spike looked and he saw a black box, and he put his claw in the alcove trying to get the box. Well the alcove was big on the inside for a baby dragon to sleep in there, but since Spike grew up and went through a lot of growth spurts, he couldn't fit in there anymore but his claws could.
When he felt a corner of the box, he licked his lips and tried to pull the box closer to him. I knew I should have put my secret possessions in the middle so I can reach them better. But no I had to be stupid enough to leave them at the far end of this little hide out. Spike thought to himself as he felt more of the box coming more his way. He began to smirk in victory when Spike heard giggles, and chuckles coming from the inside of the library. Spike looked back at Chrysalis, who was still unconscious, and she didn't blend in well with the tree branch so Spike improvised.
A window opened and Princess Twilight Sparkle's head popped out, looking around for something or somepony. She asked out loud, "Spike where are you?"
Spike had no choice but to reply, "I'm up here Twilight."
Twilight looked up and saw her assistant on a tree branch of the library laying on his stomach. For Spike it was bead because he became hard down stairs. He was laying on top of Chrysalis's back, his member poking and penetrating at her black entrance. Spike just shot a wide smile at Twilight who was very confused about Spike's behavior. She asked, "What are you doing up there?"
"You know I'm probably getting a tan and stuff." Spike replied, hoping Twilight would buy his lie. Twilight shook her head and said, "Just be careful okay. I don't want you to hurt yourself."
"Yes mother." Spike said, sarcastically.
Twilight closed the window, and walked away from Spike. Spike sighed a huge amount of relief from laying to his friend like that. He slowly got up from the Changeling Queen and he checked down on her. Making sure she was still alive after what he had to do. Chrysalis was breathing, and Spike let out a huge amount of breath escape him. He then went back to the alcove and he grabbed the box he was looking for and pulled it out of the alcove. The box was big for being in a small alcove, a baby dragon would have to use all of his strength to just lift it from the ground. Spike smiled a bit at the memories he had with this thing he held in his claw again.
"Hello old friend. It's good to see you." Spike said to the box, as he opened it and it revealed some contents. Oh boy was Chrysalis in for a big surprise when she wakes up. Spike looked at her one more time before he put something in her mouth.
Blackness and darkness, a feeling everypony gets, sees, feels, and sometimes are afraid to look. Sometimes we all are afraid to look into the eternal black abyss that seems endless. What do we see that makes us afraid of the dark? Is it monsters, or is it our fears?
For Chrysalis, she opened her eyes to see nothing but the pitch black. She looked around, and she couldn't find any source of light coming from anywhere. She wanted to scream until somepony heard her. She did scream, but it was muffled by something. Since she could see in front of her and not knowing where she was at, she looked down her muzzle and saw a black strap running along the top part. What kind of device or magic or whatever this is is making my screams muffled? What kind of creature put this thing on me while I was sleeping? Who did it? and more importantly, where the hell am I? Chrysalis thought to herself as she tried to look for any sign of light, but didn't find anything.
She tried to move her black holed hooves to remove the something on her muzzle, but for some reason her hooves never came to her. Her green eyes pierced through the dark, as if she was used to looking into the dark abyss. She looked and looked, screamed again, and it was a louder muffle. Just then, her ears perked up as she heard something open, she looked up and prepared to face whoever did this to her. "So are you awake yet?" A voice asked, poking the Changeling Queen on the thigh.
Chrysalis hissed a bit when somepony touched her, without her permission. She tried to lunge at her assailant not knowing who it was. But for some reason it was like she was weighed down, like something held her back. She tried to look for what was holding hr until the voice spoke again, "I'll remove the shroud I placed on your head, then we will all see and ask you what you are doing here."
We? As in there is more of you wherever I am? Chrysalis asked herself as she tried to struggle again. This time however she closed her eyes as something black was taken off of her head. The Changeling Queen looked at her surroundings, and she realized she was in the Golden Oaks Library. She then look at the assailant, it was the purple dragon Spike, and he was holding the black shroud that covered her head earlier. Chrysalis shot the purple drake a glare that could kill a Minotaur. Spike just smiled at the Changeling Queen knowing she couldn't hurt him.
Chrysalis then looked down, and she saw, her hind hooves were bound to a chair with rope. She tried to use her magic to untie herself, but she couldn't make her horn glow. Chrysalis then tried to ask a question but it only came out as muffles, "Whammppph Thmppph hempph dimmph yommph dompph tmmmph mpppph?! (What the hell did you do to me?!)"
Spike tried not to laugh at the situation The Changeling Queen was in. He then walked up towards the black bug creature and he replied, "I put a ball gag in your mouth while you were unconscious and at the same time I placed a magic ring binder on your horn, so you can't use your magic at all."
"Whmmmph thmmph fommmph?! (Why the hell for?!)" Chrysalis asked through the gag.
"Well because I think you're going to nag and complain a lot, so until then the gag stays in your mouth." The drake replied, smiling evilly at the capture Queen. Chrysalis looked down at the ground in defeat, hoping the drake will take the gag out of her mouth, and he would be fooled by her ruse. Spike then felt guilty leaving the gag in her mouth so he walked up to the tied up queen and he began to unstrap the ball gag. Just as he was beginning to finish getting the last strap undone the door to his bedroom open.
Hoof steps could be heard echoing down the stairs since Spike is living in the basement of the Golden Oaks Library. Spike then began to panic as he looked at Chrysalis then at the door to his bedroom. He then picked up Chrysalis from the chair she was sitting on and carried her to his closet where Twilight's science journals and other equipment were placed at the time he was little baby dragon. Since then Twilight moved her science stuff to her bedroom, Spike had an empty closet that could fit two ponies like Celestia, or in this case Chrysalis and any other pony.
So Spike opened the closet doors, Chrysalis shaking her head back and forth kicking her bound hind hooves on Spike's scaly purple shoulder, trying to struggle and get out of his strong grip but to no avail. Spike then placed the Changeling Queen gently down on the floor and he whispered, "Stay quiet and I might take the gag out faster than you think."
Chrysalis just shot Spike a glare that could melt an iceberg, She began to thrash around trying to get the ropes undone, and get the gag out herself. Spike just shrugged his shoulders as he closed the closet doors on her and left her in the dark warm closet. Chrysalis then began to cry, a tear escaped and slowly drifted down ward and hit the ground. All she wanted was to apologize to Twilight and her friends about the prank she pulled and now she was being held against her will by the sexy librarian assistant who ordered her around. Chrysalis shook her head as she kept thinking about the purple dragon and his sexy, strong, muscular body, making her do dirty things.
I think I'm fallen in love with the library assistant. Nah.. no way he would fall for a creature like me. Right? Chrysalis thought to herself as she began to hear a conversation outside the closet doors. Outside of the closet Spike turned his head around and jumped a little when he saw a pink party pony bouncing around. "Pinkie... Pie... what are you doing in my room?" Spike asked, his attention following the bouncing pink pony.
"Well I was hanging out with Rainbow Dash for a bit, then Applejack, then Fluttershy, then Rarity, then Twilight, Lyra, Bon-Bon, Derpy, Colgate, Berry Punch, Cloud Chaser, and finally myself." The pink pony replied happily, smiling at the drake.
"How could you have... never mind." Spike said, as he looked at the party pony who was eyeing him up and down.
"Also I made a lot of other friends." Pinkie said continuing from where she left off.
"Great so who are they?" The purple drake asked, trying to name all the ponies Pinkie already met in his head.
"Well they are the readers and there is the writer." The pink pony said happily, looking directly at a wall.
"Who?" The drake questioned, now confused.
"The writer, Spike he is writing everything we say, and the readers are reading what we say. " Pinkie said, still staring at the wall.
"What exactly are you talking about Pinkie? There's no pony here but you and me." Spike said, looking around, trying to find whoever Pinkie was talking about. Pinkie face hooved herself as she finally gave up. "Okie Dokie Lokie. I guess I'll see you around up stairs then Spike. Bye. The pinkie pony said, just before Spike could say good bye the party pony left closing his bedroom door on her way out.
"Whew that was close." Spike said, turning his head back towards the closet. Just as he approached the door, he turned his head around one more time to make sure no pony else was in his room. He then turned his head back at the closet doors and he opened them. Spike is unaware that a pair of purple eyes belonging somepony is indeed watching him from the creak of his bedroom door.
