Readers from beyond, meet Augustus "Afterburner" Erikkson, a Swedish firefighter who, besides ensuring the safety of the people in his hometown of Falkenberg, has another life online in which he earned his nickname from. As a longtime gamer along with several others, he has made good progress through the problems of a still-argued over Battlefield 4 and enjoys life to its fullest.
When an online email to an apparently mysterious exclusive expansion pack reaches him, his real life squad mates and many other players across the world, his squad jumps into action to duke it out against their 'prospective opponents'.
Only this time, it's more than just about winning.
