Made Up MLP Story

"Lieutenant?"

Wiper continued looking right past her, pretending it was one of the other two ponies she ment.

"Lieutenant Wiper, are you there?"

He knew she was talking to him, so he stopped pretending it was another pony she ment. He responded.

"Yes?"

Wiper looked up at Captain Rednose, a mare pegasi, maybe 20-25 years old.

"You do know ignoring higher ups will get you demoted right?"

Wiper sighed and nodded.

"Yes, i do know that."

Rednose shook her head and looked at the two other ponies, standing on the sides of Wiper, then back at Wiper.

"I congratulate you three for getting promoted to Lieutenant today. But dont think you are somepony special yet, you have quite a bit to go to actual fame. And-"

Wiper impatently stepped on the ground.

"Yeah, we know Captain, you told that like 25 times now!"

"Actually only 12."

Wiper turned his attention to the unicorn to his right, who just had spoken. And so did Rednose.

"Thats correct Greenhorn."

The pony reacted.

"Hey, my name isnt Greenhorn! Its-"

"Not like i care that much. You are in the royal guard, and having everypony say their whole name at all times would really be annoying."

Wiper knew she had a point, but he felt like she was a bit too frontial.

"Thats all, dismissed!"

With that, Rednose pushed out the three ponies of the what seemed like a office, with a sign on the door in that said "Promotion Office". Wiper had thought it was wierd, but didnt bother to ask why. Then he finaly paid attention to the two other ponies. One of them was a unicorn, the other one was a pegasus, like Wiper.

"So, what are you two gonna do now?"

Wiper turned his attention to the unicorn that had been called "Greenhorn" in the promotion office, then replied shortly.

"I dunno, i guess fly home?"

Then Wiper took off down the short hallway ahead of the two others, and went outside to the big city of Canterlot. He started talking to himself, he wasnt actually sure why, it was just a habit stuck in his brain.

"Meh, i have nothing to do and im off duty. ...Might as well just check out how this little village i saw a dozen times whilst traveling between Canterlot and Manehattan. ...I think it was called Ponyville."

He took off in to the air, and noticed his old friend, Cool Wind, salute to him, then Wiper couldnt see him anymore as he flew outside the city walls.

Wiper landed near an outpost which seemed awfully empty, and got a bad feeling about it. There was so signs of fight or fire or any sorts of damage, but it was too quiet, even though it was evening. He thought of flying back to inform Captain Rednose, but thought it would take too long, becuase if the place was being raided, and there was injured guards inside the underground bunker, then they would probably die when Wiper was away. He thought of the option and chose the one that seemed best to him: He would investergate the outpost, and hope that it wasnt an ambush. And so he did, he opened the door to the stairs down and went downstairs. Everything seemed normal. He searched for anypony for a while, but there was nopony at all. Nopony sleeping, nopony guarding, and nopony eating! Wiper decided that something strange was going on, so decided to leave before that might happen him too. He managed to leave the outpost without any trouble, flied to a nearby outpost (which seemed completely normal) and told the guards about what he had seen and his rank. The guards said they would handle it, and also said that Wiper should relax becuase he was off duty. Wiper nodded, the flied away to the small village called Ponyville, and decided to look around before it became night.

"Alright, lets check out this village i have been hearing about!"

He grinned.
