"Okay Mr. and Mrs. Cake, I'm finished with the cupcakes!!" A rather high-pitched voice called to her employers.
"Okay thanks again for coming in today, Pinkie." Mr. Cake replied, letting her know she could go. "See ya guys!" She said to them, leaving the small bakery where she resided and worked. As she trotted along an old dirt path through town, she noticed something new. A new home was to be built in the next few months near Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie felt herself gasp at the thought. "Oh, YAY!! Somepony new!!" She exclaimed aloud, which startled some of the crew working on the blueprints for the new stallion or mares home.
The season changed once, than once again and in midwinter the new home was complete. Pinkie waited anxiously for the new pony to show up and begin to settle in. There he was, his coat was as white as the snow upon the ground. His mane was a dark grey. His eyes were of the greenest of shades, like emeralds they seemed to almost glow. His jacket was the perfect contrast, a deep dark blue, similar to that of the ocean's floor. He was a pegasus, and a wounded one at that!
He galloped past the pink mare at top speed. Whirring past like a rocket, knocking Pinkie to the ground. "Sorry, Ma'am! I owe these griffons money and they're currently chasing me!" He shouted toward her getting farther and farther away. "Hey, wait!" She said chasing after him as well. "GET BACK HERE ROSS GRIMM!!" A obviously male griffon shouted flying after him. "I ALREADY TOLD YOU I DON'T HAVE ANY BITS ON ME RIGHT NOW!!" He called back to them. "How much do you owe them?" Pinkie asked him galloping beside him. "Oh, hi again! And it's only like 150 bits, but I put my bits in a bank back in Canterlot.". He said to Pinkie in a slight panic. She stopped dead in her tracks, and turned to face the griffon assault coming her way. "STOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!" She shouted to them. Everything in Ponyville was silent, the griffons froze right there on the spot. "What is that crazed mare doing?" Ross was watching her from afar. "This should cover his debts!" She told the griffons, throwing a bag of bits to them. They accepted but still flew over her and finished breaking the pegasus's left wing. "GAAAAAAAH!" He shrieked and blacked out.
"BUGGERS!!" Ross shouted. The doctor had recently given him the news that he would need another cast after this one. Pinkie walked into the room. "Hello for a third time! I'm Ross Grimm." He extended a hoof to her. "My name is Pinkemina Dianne Pie! But my friends, like you, call me Pinkie!!" She introduced herself to him. "Nice to meet you, but why did you pay them off like that??" He asked in a rather curios manner. "Consider it a housewarming gift, Ross!!" She simply replied.
