Later that night.

Oblivion awoke from the worst Nightmare he has ever had but if he saw the Bone Weaver there then it's not a nightmare but something worse a Vision of events to come.

He's eyes immediately adjusted to the dark allowing him to see the sleeping form of Twilight Sparkle"why why must the universe do this to me" he stood up and walked up stairs to see a sleeping Pet on Twilights bed "out like a light"
Oblivion turned and saw Spike sleeping soundly "Spike! hey! hey! Spike" he said poking the baby dragon.

"huh what oh Oblivion its the middle of the night is something wrong?" Oblivion nodded "yeah something is very wrong I had a vision of the future in about two years" Spike sat up "what happened?" showing great concern for Oblivion they decided to move to the balcony.

Spike and Oblivion sat crosslegged in front of each other "ok I'll start from the beginning ok here goes I'm kneeling in the snow and its dark except for a small circle of light surrounding me I look up and its snowing only the snow is really ash the sun is in the middle of an eclipse I look back down and see blood on my hands....only its not my blood".

"whose is it?" asked spike with worry in his eyes Oblivion looked him dead in the eyes "its Twilights I look down and see a trail of blood I follow it to see her with my blade stabbed through her this I can not no will not allow to come to pass Spike tomorrow after the gala I'm leaving I will leave Zugthule and his forces here to keep Equestria safe from the other dangers in the universe that may want to harm you all"

"what about you?" asked Spike with much worry in his eyes "me well if I stay Twilight will end up dead so I'm heading back to the heart of my Empire this is where you come in you have to promise me when I leave she must not follow she is the only force in all of time and space that can stop me are we clear?" Spike nodded "yeah".

"swear on your life!!" said Oblivion raising his voice a bit causing Spike to jump a bit "I..I swear I swear on my life!" Oblivion nodded "thank you thank you so much" Spike smiled Oblivion stood and was just about to leave when Spike stopped him "hey Oblivion can I ask you something?".

Oblivion stopped and turned "yeah what's on your mind?" Spike took a deep breath "ok this is going to sound crazy"

"kid you're talking to a living god you're past crazy now what's on your mind?"

"ok Oblivion can you see the future?"

Oblivion smiled "yes and no I can see yours but not my own only when I dream can I see it why?"

"I need to know its clear that me and Rarity will never be together because she only sees me as a friend but I need to know who will I end up with?"

Oblivion frowned "its complicated you see I see multiple ways your life could go like say for instance your life is a tree and and your birth is the trunk a major choice in your life will be a branch but as you know trees have many branch's but you may only follow one so in short yes I see your true love".

Spikes eyes lit up with joy "who who is it?"

"Rarity's sister Sweetie Belle she already has a crush on you know damn this kid will believe anything"

Meanwhile at Rarity's place.
Rarity had fallen asleep working at her desk Sweetie was in bed asleep as well however there was one awake in the spare room was Zugthule he was practising taking apart his favorite gun a thompson submachine gun all the parts lay on a white cloth.

After about an hour of cleaning and servicing his gun Zug stood and walked over and jumped out the window but not before grabbing a Katana about a meter and a half in length he was on a mission to see what the town's defences were like.

He walked all over town seeing that the ponies offered no real resistance if his forces the orcs were to invade so feeling thirsty he searched for a well or pond.

Having no such luck until he came across a bar called Berry's Bar it seemed to be a cross between a club and a tavern he was just about to head inside when he could hear a commotion coming from the alley he walked over and saw two stallions had cornered a mare with a pink mane and yellow coat "look what we got here a mare all alone be a shame if somepony were to take advantage of her?" said one.

"yeah somepony like us!" he said with a lust filled grin it was then the other pushed her against the wall "p-please n-no I don't want this NO!!" screamed Fluttershy.

"Hey asshole over here!" they both turned to see Zugthule standing there only in his pants he then pulled out his Katana and held it above his head

"heh get a load of this guy will you ha kill this fucker while me and this lovely filly here get acquainted"

"with pleasure" said the other pulling out a browning M9 and fired it at Zug hitting him square in the head causing him to spin round and land face first in the dirt.

Then the stallion with the gun walked over and stomped on his katana snapping it in two "heh heh he won't be needing that ha ha ha" he laughed turning back to his friend they thought it was over oh how wrong they were.

The stallion with the gun was walking over to reap his rewards when he could have sworn he saw something move behind him he turned slowly to see that the body was gone "what the fu-" he was cut short both literally and metaphorically.

His friend turned to see what had happened his friend lay cut clean in two right down the middle "w-what kind of animal could have done that?"he said trying not to pass out he quickly turned back to his prey to see a tall lone figure standing between him and Fluttershy.

It was none other than Zugthule holding in his right hand a battle axe stained with blood and in the other the Browning M9
"B-but how you died I saw it he shot you in the head?" the stallion said trembling before Zug.

"funny thing if someone shoots you at close quarter's in the head you can dodge it by spinning to the side only draw back is this" he said pointing to the left of his left eye showing a opened wound that had grazed across the side of his face and clipped the top of his ear.

"Mate you done goofed!" Zug said with a smirk raising his axe and pointing it at the Stallion "where did you get the axe I only saw you wielding the sword?"

Zug lowered it "fun fact Titans can summon a weapon that reflects their power and nature its called a Spirit weapon because we keep a part of our spirit in it and just by calling its name will it appear like take my axe Gore Hound the more blood it spills the sharper it gets anyway that's enough learning for you time to DIE!" he said as a chopped the head clean from his shoulders with a SLICE!!.

Zug then dispelled his axe and holstered his gun he then walked over and checked on Fluttershy.

She had fainted from all the excitement so he reached down and put her over his shoulder he started to walk her out of the alley when he saw one of her friends Rainbow Dash she was standing out the front of the bar "hey um Rainbow Dash right?"

Rainbow turned and saw the big Orc walking walking over to her "oh hey Zug right oh what happened to her she ok?" he lay Fluttershy down on a nearby bench "yeah um she's ok she just saw a um scary shadow and fainted anyway what's she doing out so late anyway?".

Rainbow Dash blushed "well me and Applejack were going to go to free drinks night but she was busy with family and pinkie has work tomorrow so Flutters decided to come along last I saw her she said she was just going outside for some air I think things were getting a bit much for her you know but anyway what are you doing out this late?"

He nodded "yeah well the thing is I have a condition called insomnia" Rainbow looked confused as hell "it means I don't sleep at night so I usually just roam around the ship until day time heh good times anyway I've got to get back to Rarity's see you round bye" he finished off waving as he walked away.

Three Hours Later.

The first rays of Celestia's sun started to shine just over the mountain tops Oblivion had placed Twilight back in her bed she slowly opened her eyes "oh what a night hang on how did I get in to bed oh well first things first where is my colt friend?" she thought giggling to herself a bit.

She climbed out of bed and trotted down stairs to see Spike and Oblivion at the table Oblivion was wearing his armor but instead of his helmet he was wearing reading glasses they both were reading a large stone tablet "morning everypony" she said with a smile Oblivion and Spike looked to Twilight "greetings my love sleep well?" said Oblivion with a large smile "morning Twilight" said Spike.

She nodded "what are you reading?" she asked raising an eyebrow "Oblivion reckons its about time I learned about how to speak Draconian so he's teaching me how to read and write in my own language isn't that cool!?" he said excitedly.

"what do you know about dragons?" Oblivion put his hand on his heart in mock offence "Twilight I will have you know being big brother to the Queen of all Dragon's I know a thing or to about the dragon language Spike say hello in draconic will you?"

Spike nodded "ok here goes val zandim gah how was that?" he asked turning to Oblivion who in turn gave him a double thumbs up "spot on kid hey go and practice in the other room ok I need to talk to Twilight about something"
Spike nodded "sure thing" he said as he took the stone tablet in to the other room.

Once Spike left the room Twilight and Oblivion sat on the couch together "what's on your mind?" asked Twilight.

Oblivion put on a serious face "well my love I need you to send a letter to Princess Celestia ok the message is as follows Dear Celestia my nephew Zugthule and I today are setting up a forward landing/base of operations in a clearing in the Everfree Forest Celestia I am letting you know that when the ship lands this afternoon its not an act of aggression nor an act of war its just that I need somewhere I can operate from and to let you know that I am not asking permission the reason for not giving you a choice is because the time it would take you to reply would be to long for my liking so in advance sorry your's sincerely Lord Oblivion Nova oh and P.S see you at the Gala".

Twilight finished writing down all he had said "aaand done! ok is that all?" he nodded "that's all now what's on the agenda for today?" he asked know full well that Twilight had planned the whole day out.

"well you have to head over to Rarity's so you can pick up my dress and put in a order for your own outfit while I have to go to town hall and speak to the mayor about registering us as a couple"

"why?"

"oh well because of the law any female to court a male must go on file because there are population wise like nine percent male and the rest is female so males have can have multiple females this is called herding.....um would you like to start a herd?"

"Twilight Sparkle you are all I will ever need so no I won't be starting a herd" he said standing up"and trust me when I say everything I do I do for you my love" he said taking off his reading glasses and placing on his Father's Helmet.

The golden glow returned to his eyes and his armor changed as well turning gold and his cape turned velvet red with a yellow trim his pauldrons changed the spikes had shrunk and turned into studs.

"and never mind about my outfit this is what I'm wearing ok" he said he then pressed a button on his ring and in a flash of gold light he was wearing a black tux with a red tie and pointed black dress shoes "I will be back soon" he said turning and walking out the door and shutting it behind him.

She was just about to turn and walk away when it opened again and Oblivion ran up to her and pulled her into a deep passionate kiss that lasted about a minute but to them it was an eternity when they finally broke the kiss Twilight looked into his eyes catching her breath "wh-what was that for not t-that I'm complaining?".

He put on a sly grin "two reasons one I just couldn't leave without feeling your touch one more time and two .......I forgot my hat" with that he reached above her and grabbed off the hat rack his black fedora and then gave her another quick peck on the lips then in a dash he was out the door leaving Twilight to say one word "wow!"

As Oblivion walked down the street he started to sing in his head "The heart is a bloom Shoots up through the stony ground There's no room No space to rent in this town You're out of luck And the reason that you had to care The traffic is stuck And you're not moving anywhere You thought you'd found a friend To take you out of this place Someone you could lend a hand In return for grace"

He then jumped up and landed in front of a bunch of ponies and at the top of his lung's sang.....

"ITS A BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!"

Everypony in the market stared at him he waved "woops my bad!".

Meanwhile Zug and Rarity were eating breakfast together well sort of you see Rarity couldn't figure out why he wasn't eating he was just siting there staring at it.
"is it my cooking I didn't think my cooking was that bad? um excuse me Mr Zugthule but why haven't you touched your food?"

He looked up and blushed "um its not important its just I can't eat this.....I-I'm a carnivore it means I um eat meat" he said averting his eyes "unlike my uncle who's a omnivore that can eat both plant and meat matter I'm stuck with just meat if I ate this sure it would taste good I'm sure but I would get very sick.....and die"

"oh my I almost killed him oh I'm so sorry Mr Zugthule" she said covering her mouth with a hoof in a dramatic fashion Zug however just chuckled "its fine and call me Zug ok your a friend Miss Rarity friends call me Zug"he said with a grin
"and as for the food don't worry about it I have food back on my ship and I can go about a week without food or water"

Some time past and she was busy working on a dress in her studio while Zug was in the same room helping her with what ever she needed like holding a dress up or fetching fabric all was going well until she lost her scissors Zug noted her predicament and walked over "is something wrong?"

"yes I can't find my scissors and I need them to cut this fabric"

"here let me" with a wave of his hand he summoned his axe Gore Hound and with one swing cut the fabric however what Rarity couldn't get over was his axe was made of gold and the blade itself looked to be made out of diamond

"its beautiful" she said in awe Zug just shrugged "it is? I mean I made it so I hoped it looks nice"

"you made that?"

"yeah in my spare time I'm a jewelcrafter and blacksmith hmm if you think this is nice have a look through this".

He said as he pulled out a sketchbook and passed it to her as she flicked through she was amazed by some of his ideas all through the book were sketches of armor and different uniforms.

"these are amazing do you ever get a chance to make any of these?".

He shook his head "nah I'm a soldier first and besides I don't have anywhere to work" Rarity seemed saddened by this
"but surely you must find-" she was unable to finish as there was a knock that the door so she and zug went downstairs to answer the door.

They opened the door to see Oblivion standing there "Uncle what are you doing here?" asked Zug Oblivion just smiled "two reasons one to pick up Twilight's dress for tonight and two Zug I require your assistance I need you to take me to your shuttle".

Zug and Rarity looked to each other "um of course right this way here take a seat while I go get it"said Rarity Zug waited till she was in the other room "now what are you really doing here?" the smile left Oblivion's face

"Zug there are things going on here even I can't see they say that the Griffons and Equestrians are at peace but I have seen otherwise the Griffons mobilizing there force's across the borders of Equestria and the princesses do nothing"

"maybe they don't know?"

"no they don't it's like the information goes up the chain of command but when it reaches them its been changed"

"that means there's someone on the inside"

"my thoughts exactly that's where you come in you're going to find out who however you can NOT get caught we don't want either side to find out are we clear?"

"yes sir but what will you be doing?"

"me well I will be drawing the attention of everypony there" it was then that Rarity entered the room levitating behind her the dress "here we go darling Twilight's dress" Oblivion took it from her "thank you brilliant as always Rarity anyway come on Zug we have much to do before the evening arrives" Zug nodded and was about to leave when Rarity stopped him "um Oblivion can I speak with Zug for a moment?"

"I don't see why not? I'll meet you at your ship" he said as he teleported Twilight's dress to her and walked out the door
Zug turned to Rarity "what's up?" she was blushing heavily "well I was wondering if you would be my escort for the gala?".

Zug thought for a moment "Rarity it would be my honor to accompany you to the gala "he said taking her hoof and kissing it "see you tonight at seven?"

"shure I-I mean yes that is acceptable" she said trying to play down how nervous she was Zug smiled and just waved goodbye and ran out the door.

Several minutes later as Zug was running through the town he could hear the heartbeat of somepony following him as well as wing beats he stopped just before he reached the Everfree forest "Rainbow why are you following me?"

she poked her head out from behind a cloud "how did you know it was me?"

"simple only you would follow me this close to the Everfree and I can smell your sent" she flew down and hovered next to him

"what are you going there for anyway?"

"Oblivion and I are going to head up to my ship"

"wait y-you mean you're going to go to outer space?" he shrugged "yeah why?"

"thats so cool can I come can I PLEEEEEASE?" she said putting on the puppydog eyes Zug just rolled his eyes.

"FINE!! but I have two rules number one you don't touch anything and you keep quiet number two you do what I say when I say GOT IT?"

"got it" she said smiling "ok follow me" and off they went into the Everfree.

They walked for about ten minutes before they came to a clearing siting in the middle of the clearing was Oblivion in his spiked armor "what's she doing here?" Zug shrugged "she said she wanted to go into orbit"

"fine but if she gets in the way its on you"

"yes sir!"
Rainbow Dash looked around the clearing "so where's the ship?" Oblivion clicked his finger's making the shuttle decloak
"come on and pile in" he said waving them over the side of the ship which opened revealing seats facing eachother

Zug climbed in and opened the door to the cockpit and took a seat "you to strap in ok?" Rainbow Dash took a seat and Oblivion strapped her in "you good?" she nodded "can I do the count down?" Oblivion shrugged as he strapped himself in across from her.

Zug began to flip switches and press buttons as the ship lit up the light in the cabin turned from green to red the door to the cockpit closed with a pressurised hiss then the ship began to hum and as the engines began to flare up the thrusters burst with light and in a flash off they flew at a speed of over ten thousand miles per minute.

Due to the speed and the fact that it was her first time Rainbow passed out it wasn't uncommon for first timers to experience this and other side effects.

Rainbow slowly awakened "wha-what happened?" she looked across from her to see Oblivion sitting there reading a book hearing her voice he looked up "oh your awake good we've arrived Zug's just getting permission to land and as for what happened you kind of passed out you see lesser races tend to pass out on there first trip" the ships speakers crackled and popped as Zug's voice came through "uncle where docking now you may want to gather your things".

Oblivion nodded and picked up a duffle bag and slung it over his shoulder and walked over to the shuttle's airlock
the red light turned to amber "come on Dash lets go" she nodded and trotted over to him she stopped and ran over to the window "Oh my Celestia where in outer space!!!" the door to the cockpit opened "what didn't you believe me?" it was then that the amber light turned green and the airlock opened with a hiss "well sort of anyway what's next?" Oblivion stepped into the decontamination area he then started to undress "what are you guys doing?" asked Dash.

Zug closed the door behind him "well any foreign contaminants have to be removed before we can enter the ship so basically we just have to be cleaned ok" he said as he got undressed when him and Oblivion were both naked Dash was in awe "is everyone in their family that well hung?" Dash thought blushing.

It was then that a voice said aloud "commencing decontamination standby!" it was then that a purplish mist was sprayed into the room Dash noted that Oblivion and Zugthule where both rubbing it into their skin so she did as they did it made her coat all silky and smooth "what is this stuff?" Zug and Oblivion both put on a white jump suit "it disinfectant it also boosts your immunity to catching germs oh and before I forget here".

It was then that Zug grabbed her arm and stabbed it with a stimpack "ow what the hell was that for?" said Dash rather angrily "a vaccination against any and all known diseases in the known universe in other word's you'll never get sick ever again" said Oblivion matter-o-factually.

The door opened to the ship and waiting on the other side were two power armored Orcs with pulse rifles they both saluted Oblivion "hail Titan!!" they both yelled.

It was then that Zugthule's bag started to move and wriggle Zug pulled out his sidearm and trained it on the bag "whatever's in there come out now or you will be shot!" the bag unzipped and out hopped the Cutie Mark Crusaders "were sorry Mr Zugthule it was Scootaloo's idea she said we might get our cutie marks in spying" Oblivion just face palmed "well I was going to get out but the door shut to the cargo hold and we got stuck!".

Zug just shook his head and Oblivion laughed "alright alright Zug I'm going to go to the bridge to open a link to command you take to girls around the ship and give em a tour can you do that for me?".

Zug saluted then turned to the girls "ok where should we go to first the armory or the mess hall?" Dash just smiled "do you even need to ask?"

"ok follow me girls" he said as they walked off toward the armory Oblivion just shook his head and walked up to one of the guards "let the bridge know I'm on my way" the guard nodded there was a crackle of his helmet radio and then he spoke "Emperor Oblivion is on his way to the bridge I repeat Emperor Oblivion has returned!!".
