A walk on the golf course(prologue)
A walk on the golf course(prologue)
"I hate people" my best friend said the hundredth time on are walk. Today after we did our normal walk with our dogs, we decided to take a walk just the two of us. I sighed audibly,
"Yes Victoria, now can please change topic?" I asked kicking a rock on the golf course path. "fine fine, did you know were moving in two months?" she asked me excitedly. I turned away, I did know, which is why I let tear fall down my cheek. She was basically my only friend and she was leaving me after six years. "Yes" I said softly while looking down, suddenly interested in my brown boot. We walked in silence for while when Victoria tapped me on my arm, "hey Kailey look at that shed!" she said then turned to me grinning in her signature playful evil grin, which I then returned. We walked up to the old rusty door of the shed and, carful to not walk on the thorny brush that littered the ground, I swept away the overgrown vines incasing the door while Victoria jiggled the handle. The door move a little but not nearly far enough to get through.
"Victoria let me try" I said stubbornly. She backed away just in time for my boot to connect to the door the door groaned then fell sending dust everywhere, in the midst of the dust came a blinding light, and then pain, it hurt so much. Black fuzz started to cloud my vision, then took it completely.
