Everlight Resort, Where You Can Relax ... (with the fishes)

The Everlight Resort 12:34 P.M

The sun was shining upon the bright Everlight resort, the sweet smell of tropical fruit in season saturated the air, and soon it would be picked by certain "helpers" and shipped overseas to add more gold and treasure to the Underworld's already staggering amount. It w here on the beach facing towards the blue ocean that Mistress Juno was stretched out across a beach chair like a leopard, while being twice as deadly. She lifted herself onto one arm and pulled down her sunglasses as a shadow obscured the sunlight. When she saw who it was, she groaned with mild distaste and fell back onto the reed chair. Mistress Kelda huffed lightly as she set down her towel and sat on it. "You know that you don't have to take that tone with me Juno." she said as she sat upon the green towel.

"Oh please darling," Juno purred "I only take that tone with wild animals and savages, oh wait."

"Juno watch your tongue, or I'll cut it out of your mouth." Kelda replied as she pulled a very large steel knife out of who knows where and beggining to sharpen the shining blade. Juno sat quietly until she scoffed to herself again and picked up her belongings. "Oh yes, Juno dear," Kelda called "Fay wants to see you, She should be in the jungle with the elven community, also watch out for spiders." Juno didn't reply, but instead walked away muttering "Savage" under her breath the whole way. Kelda waited until she was gone, then pulled herself onto the chair and let her body relax. She smiled, annoying Juno was the best part of being one of the Overlord's mistresses. She let Juno's scowl float in her thoughts as she fell into a sunlight-induced slumber.

Juno found Queen Fay standing at the very center of the elven tree housings, observing the large jagged Nether Gate there. Juno picked strands of spider silk out of her perfected hair. She loved the creep crawly spiders for their deadliness and stealth in battle, yet she loved them mostly for their silk producing abilities that made her perfect robes and *ahem* undergarments. Yet she could not stand the webs being in her pristine brown locks. "This had better be good Fay." she scowled as she pushed away elves with blue electricity sparking around their heads. "I'm missing out on some lovely sun for this meeting."

"Come hither and look at the the Nether Gate." Fay said turning her back to Juno.

Juno sighed and walked over to the spire of obsidian. Something felt off about the gate, yet Juno could not put her finger on what it was. "What is wrong with the gate?" she asked, "it feels... less evil."

"That is because it is loosing its power, It has become disconnected from the Dark Tower."

"What!, How could that have happened!?" cried Juno.

"I don't know, but we need to get to the tower immediately, I fear something has happened to the Overlord. I will be able to charge the gate enough for the three of us to get through, but I don't know if I can bring us back. Go get Kelda, I'll wait here."

Juno sighed again and went back to the area where Kelda was, her feet aching in her sandals. Returning with her head aching also from a hit from Kelda's club when she woke her up. "We're here Fay." Juno said, rubbing her head with Kelda just behind.

"We need to leave now. Step onto the portal." Fay said. As they did, she began to glow with the blue aura of Overlord magic. In one blast all three of the mistresses were gone. As they left, the obsidian gate crumbled and finally broke into a thousand pieces.
