"No! come on rainbow, you can't have feelings for...No just don't even think about it" she slammed her head onto
the now dented table "Stupid, Stupid stupid!!" she groaned and kept her head layed flat on the table, her front door
swung open, she quickly lifted her head up and fixed her frizzy mane, "hey rainbowdash" fluttershy said
in her normal timid voice, "oh hey fluttershy" rainbow dash said nervously while still fixing her mane
"uhh whats up?" she said while trying to play it cool, "well i was wondering if you wanted to come with me tonight,
there is a cave full of bats and they look amazing in the nightlight" she smiled and rainbowdash
gazed into her eyes longing to tell her the truth about how she feels.
"umm rainbow are you ok?" she said wandering why rainbowdash couldn't take her eyes off her.
"oh right yeah sorry, i uhhhh was just
thinking about if im busy, ummm nope im not busy, yeah i'll come with you where do you want to meet?"
she said while smiling nervously.
"ok, umm why dont you come to my house and we can walk up to the cave
together" rainbowdash smiled and nodded her head. "ok i'll see you then" fluttershy said while walking
out of the door.
later that night rainbowdash nervously started pacing "what do i do? should i finally admit to her how i feel?
no she'll think your creepy, she's your friend for ponies sake, it'll just ruin your friendship....
won't it? oh i dont know what to do anymore" she decided to go and tell fluttershy she couldnt go out,
she got to fluttershy's front door, she took a deep brethe and knocked on the door, it slowely opened, fluttershy smiled at
her, rainbowdash found herself once again lost in her beautiful turquoise eyes.
"rainbow are you ready to go?"
she tilted her head wondering why rainbowdash had frozen and couldn't stop gazing into the yellow
mares eyes.
"oh yeah, umm..... yeah i'm ready to go".
fluttershy walked ahead to show rainbowdash where they were going, rainbowdahs had her head down thinking
if she should tell fluttershy or not, all kinds of outcomes flahsed through her mind, "what if she
doesn't feel the same way" she mumbled under her breathe.
"Were here" fluttershy happily said, she layed out a blanket for them to both sit on. She sat down and invited rainbowdash to sit next to her, they sat and watched as the bats flew out of their cave and into the night sky.
rainbowdash stared at fluttershy, she closed her eyes and took a few deep beathes, "fluttershy?"
she turned and looked at rainbow.
"yes?" she said wondering why rainbowdash looked so nervous
"fluttershy.....i.....i..." she took another deep breathe " i...ummm....do you.. um"
Fluttershy looked puzzled "fluttershy do you.... ummm... like me?"
she smiled gently, "it's getting late and you look tired
why not just rest your head for a bit" rainbowdash smiled as her eyes started closing and her head drooped onto the
the blanket, she fell fast asleep. Fluttershy smiled and rested her head ontop of Rainbow,
"i dont like you Dashie......
i love you"
she closed her eyes and they lay on the soft blanket together while gloworms danced in the cool night air.
It was a bright day in equstria and rainbowdash was finishing clearing the clouds away when she saw fluttershy
guiding a group of anxious looking ducklings through town and to the pond back
to their eagerly waiting mother, rainbowdash pushed the cloud gently towards fluttershy and lay down of it making
sure she was out of sight, she watched fluttershy smiling as the ducks had a happy family reunion,
rainbowdash had found herself wathcing fluttershy going about her daily buissness alot in the past few
days, she wasn't sure what it was but when she saw fluttershy she just felt a wave of happiness
wash over her and she often found herself laying on a cloud trying to figure out why she felt this
way.

The next day she decided to ask twilight but when she got to twilights house she found herself unable to tell
her what had been happening so she found a book in the vast library called "confused about emotions" she borrowed
it and told twilight it was for a friend, twilight wasn't convinced but let her borrow the book anyway.
after reading it and re-reading it the book kept telling her the same thing over and over again,
that she had feelings for fluttershy, she couldn't believe it and so threw the book in the bin and
tried to forget about everything, but she found that when she tried to ignore her feelings they just
grew stronger and night after night she would sit awake all night gazing at the stars, trying despretly
to stop feeling the way she did, but was there even a way to stop feeling how she did? she asked herself day after
day.
for the next few days rainbow avoided fluttershy, she just sat in her room, she put all her old stuffed animals
in her wardrobe as she found when she looked at them she could only think about fluttershy.
"How can i like her?" she asked herself in the middle of the night, the stress of it all had been
growing and so she walked outside and sat with the wind in her mane trying to calm herself,
she looked up at the stars and tried to seek an answer from them "please, please if anyone is listening up there
i need your help, i don't know what to do, i...." her eyes began to fill with tears, "i know she'll never...."
she paused and took a breathe " I know she'll never .. Love me, please just ...please help me"
the wind howled as she rubbed the tears out of her eyes and slowely walked back into her room, she
slowley drifted off to sleep, thinking about what may happen tommorow.
