Bright Light. commander of the third unicorn regiment of the solar guard ran. He through the streets of Canterlot, he ran through the halls of the castle until he reached his destination. Celestias throne room. not having time to open the door he simply went through it not with magic or a spell... but with his body he burst through the door.
Celestia watched as her personal gaurd's surrounded the one who burst through the door. She quickly called them off when she saw it was Bright Light one of the unicorn commanders. She walked over to him and with her usual calm royal demeanor simply asked "What is wrong my loyal commander? Have you come with a message of surrender from the rebels? Please tell me."
At this the commander looked up unsure if he should answer honestly... he decided he should tell the princess the truth. Bright Light took a deep breath and said "Quite the opposite I am afraid the rebels march on manehatten as we speak and despite our efforts I personally believe they will take it. The only reason I am here is because Bone Breaker the rebel sergeant who led the march let me go and told me to give you this message." he then pulled out a note form his saddle bag along with a shadow black war axe.
The note read "Dear princess Celestia I have given my troops orders not to harm any innocents or gaurds yet but be warned if our demands are not met there will be blood shed. I await your answer. signed the leader of the revolution, your brother, and the shadow god of equestria. Umbra Dark Star."
Celestia sighed and sat back on her throne to talk it over with her sister Luna who had tears in her eyes "Tia why would Star betray us like this? what should we do I caused so much pain when I refused to let you raise the sun 1000 years ago because I felt under appriceated. But this is much worse our brother is more powerful than both of us combined! and he gains power due to both the moon and the sun! ... Tia what should we do?."
After what seemed like a lifetime to Bright Light, Celestia and Luna reached an answer. Celestias horn began to glow the color of the sun as she floated the axe back over to her commander and as he took it she said "tell our brother we return his axe." she then looked around the room to her other commanders as well as six ponies and a baby dragon. two earth ponies, named Applejack and Pinkie Pie, two pegasi, named Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, one unicorn, named Rarity, and the fifth alicorn to be created in 5000 years Twilight Sparkle and her reptilian assistant spike the dragon "as for the rest of you including the bearers of the elements of honesty, laughter, kindness, loyalty, generosity, and magic. prepare for tomorrow..." she used the royal canterlot voice for the first time in over 4000 years for only four words "WE GO TO WAR!!!"
