After wishing upon a shooting star in a moment of desperation, a young mercenary wakes up falling from the skies above Equestria. Now trapped in an unfamiliar land, he struggles to adapt to a world where he doesn't belong, as well as making a new life for himself while trying to quell the nightmares of his past. However, he might just find a new reason to live and love, as well a shred of happiness and belonging that everyone desperately seeks, but only comes along every once in a blue moon.
